Our Away Day Review league table is slowly filling up, so after our trip to Putney, we analyse the Craven Cottage away experience and enter it onto our league table - where will it rank? Fulham fan here, Can’t understand how that young lad said what he said we have the reputation of having most Away fans that come to The Cottage saying what a lovely Stadium/ Place to come to and how they love coming back every season. Regarding the crowd and atmosphere you should have been there when we thumped Spurs 3-0 and can’t understand why you can’t hear the Hammersmith End something is wrong somewhere.?!?!
Love it as an away day- great pubs around the stadium and great walk to it.

Craven Cottage is one of my favourite stadiums. Weird away/home fan setup but the stadium’s a beaut.
The Telegraph Putney Heath is really good pub for Fulham or Chelsea - free parking for a few hours and a walk or bus down Putney High Street to the river
Also regarding the young lad I’m certain the fact that you lost 3-1 was the real factor behind what he said.
Definitely not not mate I’ve been at an away ground 9-0 down and still singing like sam said unfortunately my view was the biggest let down of the ground hope to return next season with a better experience and louder Fulham fans
Fair on the prices (generous even) . What does Ethan think of Selhurst Park if the cottage gets a 2? Walk to the ground - depends if you like a walk by the Thames in the company of your mates I suppose - can't think of many better walks. Always an interesting listen though.
Ill take being called Quiet from any fanbase. But not AFC Bournemouth.
Fulham fan here, just wanted to say this is the best football podcast out there, for me the walk to the ground is a 10 at Fulham from whichever direction, wouldnt swap the views and feel with anyclub in england (but then i would say that!) wow factor maybe get a group of fans rather than 1 to even it out. The other aspects are fair, prices simply leave a bad taste in the mouth, the noise we have probs the most female/children/elderly as percentage of crowd + tourists + time spent slicing up our victoria sponge etc etc. from the back of Hammersmith it's a good craic but obvs doesn't carry to away end. By the way thought bournemouth fans had great turnout and noise, all the best
Thanks for the review as a Fulham fan. Fair to say that the drinks and the pies are way to expensive but the only thing that got me angry was a how your special guest gave us a two for the Wow factor?! All the other ones were fairly rated which I enjoyed to watch. ⚫️⚪️

Love the vids guys. Im from the states and its too expensive to get out to sporting events. Ice hockey nosebleed seats are $150 in boston!! nevermind its $80 to park in the garage for 3 hours. Sorry but had to ramble about prices, sad sports are becoming inaccessible to the real fans.
Jim here you interviewed me at vitality couple of years ago I’m biased of course mostly fair I think but the walk to the ground was harsh you chose to drink that far away not everyone drinks if you come from Putney bridge or Hammersmith the walks along the river have to be as any in football compare it to Seven Sisters and the noise at the vitality this season was louder from the Fulham fans with a similar scoreline away fans usually make more noise and park anywhere in Fulham Chelsea probably £6 an hour unfortunately living in London other than that enjoy yours posts yours jim
Also if I may just say I think it was the wrong choice to have the young lad giving his opinion about the ground. All he really knows is that a football ground should be a round bowl like Leicester…Southampton…Derby and many more that have no Character at all. What I do hope boys is that when you get to build your new ground I hope you don’t go Bowl shape and you also keep some of the look that you have at the moment. If you want an example of what I mean just ask West Ham fans where they would rather be where they are or Upton Park…. No Contest.
Hi mate no offence was meant to be caused by my comment I’ve been travelling the country with afc Bournemouth since I was 7 I’m now almost 16 unfortunately I prefer the smaller staidium so like because I can see better
