Saw these Great Men on the 27th of May 2023 at South Padre Island and lemme tell you it was one of the best shows I have ever been too! And I’ve been to plenty. It was more then amazing getting see these guys do their thing live after all these years of being a fan!! LONG LIVE 311 💯💫💙🙌🏼
my buddy went to that show and ended up sitting with them on the flight back to DFW the next day to catch their connecting flights. miT and Chad were sitting across the aisle from him in business class, Raspler Bros. were in front of him, the rest of the band and crew were behind him. He's met them a dozen times before, and they actually recogonized him bc he's ALWAYS on the rail whenever he sees them. Always. He got a bunch of pic from the encounter.
Transistor is where it all started for me and will always be my favorite but Soundsystem is another S tier album and I think it had the best production of any of their albums. Everything was so loud and in your face but super clear, all of the scratches were perfect in the mix...it's too bad they only worked with that producer once. He totally brought out the best in their sound.
I see transistor era 311 footage, I click and like

I was born in the RGV, that’d be an amazing show and setting!
I remember this like it was yesterday. I was 17 and I felt like I was going to be young forever. Time is a bitch.
I love this comment....this is how I've been feeling since their new stuff has come out.... .I hate feeling old, lol
that is one of their absolute BEST albums. bought the cd as soon as it came out. love it til this day
Love this little piece of history. Been a fan since All Mixed Up hit radio in 96.
I remember when MTV used to actually cover music, it was rad. 311 is a good band.
Noice 🤙 "Only 21 songs" some of the best ever ❤
So cool thanks for upload
And only 28 "you know's" from Nick😅 Still love this interview all these years later. Proof that these two are true to themselves to this day.
As much as I love transistor, Soundsystem is still my favorite album by them it has such a wide range of vibes
