Veronica, what other fabric but muslin, can it be used for this quilt? At one quilt shop told me, why should I use this cheap fabric when I’m investing so much time in the blocks… they let me thinking, but I don’t know a fabric to resemble an old one. Thanks:)

Do you ever have it unravel at the edges when you subcut the blocks? Or do you make sure to backstitch at the corners?

@@consolw sometimes it can. If I'm thinking ahead I'll do little backstitching before I cut. But sometimes I do have to add a few stitches after I've cut to keep everything together.
