I don't think you should change your set up at all. I believe I've seen all the medium to big channels, and yours is top of the food chain in production and content. Sidenote: your wife must love you very much if she gives up a bathroom and puts up with all that shaving stuff :D Keep up the good work!
I think it's really cool that you have all this gear in your den but it's pretty funny because they always say Safety Razor Shaving is cheaper in the long run, however what they fail to mention is that because it's such a great way of shaving you become addicted to buying all sorts of products, which in-turn, leaves you spending more money. I've been subscribed for a couple of weeks & have got to say that your video's are great ! (you deserve more subscribers). I'm currently saving up to buy my first Safety Razor, I'm nervous to try it out when I do finally get it but I'm also really looking forward to it :)
Is that all you've got?! Lol! Good video Nick. Some great looking things you have in your den. Thanks for the tour. Camera and lighting looks just fine. Kevy.
When he opened the drawer, I was drooling. I'm making the best outta my Proraso green shaving soap and hesitating to buy some other shaving products. Nick has a whole barbershop in his bathroom. Simple and clean setup too, glad you gave us a tour.
OHHHH MY GOSH!!!! Next time my wife complains about me having too many shelves and too many shaving products, I'm going to make her watch this. By the way - #jealous
SAME! I personally have had kinda of a bad consciousness about me buying too much products, but after seeing all this stuff, it pretty much melted away instantly!
Hey nick thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I have been watching your videos for a few weeks. Yesterday I hit Kent of Inglewood here in Edmonton, I left with a Merkur 34c and a tub of Taylor of bond street shaving cream sandalwood scent. Went home and had the best shave of my life. I am now looking forward to shaving. Followed your advice and no burn bumps nicks or irritation. Thanks thanks thanks. My daughters and wife won't stop smelling me and rubbing my face. My shave den is now under construction. 👍👍👍
Just showed this to my wife, she thinks I am obsessed with wet shaving. After watching this, she is quiet 🤫 hahahaha Thanks brother! Love your collection
Video quality is fine, I wouldn't spend the money unless you have other personal reasons to do so. Thanks for the dedication of your personal time and effort as I use your videos to judge what products to try next. For example, I just put an order in with Stirling Soap Company for several sample sizes. I sure wish they would start selling on Amazon! For all those artisan shave soap manufacturers, if you want to increase sales put your product on Amazon us Prime Members will make it worth your time. Keep up the good work Nick!
It's a nice den and I appreciate you taking on all that equipment so you can make educated recommendations. Only suggestion on the setup is adding a sink-cam so we can see the lather and anything taking place out of frame.
Wow I'm always amazed at the dens of wet shavers but you seem to have it under control unlike some others I've seen. Your video quality is great keep the camera it's perfect no need for upgrading. Enjoyed the video
Holy cow that's enough to start up a retail store! Perhaps an idea for thinning out the den could be to run a charity auction of some of the lesser used/duplicate soaps and items
I was shocked that you use such a simple camera! You're apparently getting your audio through the camera as well? Really good quality for such an easy set up!
did my first wet shave today with a shavett...and I must say the difference between cartridge is AMAZING! !! for my first ever I did pritty well however I nicked myself a few times but only because I need to work on my angling...and I must say. the feather razor blades just went through my side burns like a Light sabor! !!!
Btw, video set up - like it because it looks authentic. Just a regular guy who's into wet shaving like the rest of us, but sharing the experience. Thx! Learned a ton from your videos.
Thanks Nick . I enjoyed seeing the possibilities. I was in Chicago last month and took the El to Q brothers . Awesome. I've been to one of the Meccas now. Amazing to see that much stuff in person.
Your videos has always been top notch! Easy and enjoyable to watch, and your "new" camera does a great job! Only "improvement" I can think of, would be a clip-on mic for better qaulity of your voice. Sweet den! :-)
Thanks Nick great video!! Always enjoy your videos! Your probably the first UA-camr I watched when I started wet shaving several months ago and I've found your shaving tips very helpful. Thanks!
Nice quick tour. You have tons of brushes. What is your absolute favorite? I just bought my second, and 1st synthetic - RR Monster. My first was a Perfecto Badger. Not the best, but it gets the job done. I have had RAD. Started in July and have many of the same razors you displayed 34C, X3, Gillette Slim Adj, Blackbird (on order). My favorites are my R41 and Grackle DOC. The DOC I think is overlooked by many because it is labeled as too mild, but if the handle is just left snug, not too tight, the razor is pretty efficient and very fun to use. Received the Black Hawk today as my first SE. I may wait until the weekend to try! Happy shaving.
That was great Nick. I noticed you have a lot more safety razors since you did the last shave den tour :) Me too - this hobby is a bit addicting and not easy on the wallet!Cheers, Chris in N.H.
I was shaving with cartridges when I first saw your vids. Two years later, I have a 34c, omega boar brush, tabac soap, TOBS sandalwood and arko. I started slow but I'll make my way up, have to start somewhere right? Thanks for the videos.
Good update on the shaving den. I have several budget products that perform well for me. I have few artisan soaps, but have nothing against those. Had to reign in my spending, but I probably have enough soaps and creams for several years.
My shaving den...Fatip piccolo razor, Astra Platinum blades, 1 Kg of Cella soap, Semogue Excelsior 830 and for aftershave a bottle of Bushmills Irish Whiskey.
Nice video Nick. Leave your set up alone. Your videos are fine. I did have to show my wife that my 9 shaving cremes, three razors and three brushes are not a big deal! Thanks for the help in that area! lol I got into this as if I was going to save some money. Not gonna happen.
Extremely jealous of your collection. Currently trying to get more stuff as right now I have 1 brush (Omega 10066 thanks to you) one DE razor (Merkur 34c thanks to you again) and 2 soaps (stirling exec man and Barrister and Mann Seville another to you). I have learned a lot from your videos and enjoy learning about all these products. hopefully one day I can have a collection like this!
Hey Nick. Pretty new subscriber and also pretty new to wet shaving. Your videos have been extremely helpful for me. Thanks for giving us a tour of the shaving den!
Nice. I love the updated shave den tour. I think the lighting and camera is perfect. In fact I think your quality is better than everyone in the shaving videos. But oh man I need that two tier plastic drawer that you have in the cabinet. Where did you get that ?
Love the tour! I feel so much better now about my (previously thought of as large) collection of soaps!! I can shop again now!! BTW... Thanks to you, I have found the 7oclock to be my go to blade along with the 7am blades (try them if you have not!!!) very similar!
Nice collection and the cost of doing business on a uTube wet shaving channel. I really like your style/approach to wet shaving. I’m glad you’re back in the saddle (2020) and posting great videos. Cheers 🍻!
That was pretty cool! I still have my 8oz puck of Cavendish back when they were called how to grow a mustache! Still my favorite soap. But a very cool den with good quality videos. I'm looking forward to some of the upcoming reviews!
Hey Nick. Your setup is fine as is, in my opinion. I should thank you. Your videos gave me the name of Anthony Esposito, which I just received my first straight razor from. Love it. So thank you. What started your addiction to different products? A particular event, product? Also do you own any horse hair brushes?
Great video Nick. Always neat to see others dens. I have no problem with your setup and think the quality is quite nice. Now would be the time to review some beard oils or balms! I made my own and it's really nice. Keeps the hairs soft and skin moisturized.
nick shaves as far as making your own or from a company? I make my own. It's actually a pre/post shave Oil I made that I'm using on the beard this month.
Very interesting! Great collection of shaving gear. Bought the LUSH shave cream (Prince) today; a nice citrus scent, Made in England. I look forward to seeing how it performs. Ever thought of reviewing it? Thanks for the tour!
New Views Lush shave creams are completely unlatherable I'm afraid. They are slick and have good face feel but they don't appeal to me as part of this hobby.
Thanks for the info. Will try them out and see what they're like. I agree, it's nice to have a lather but I think traditional barber shops use unlatherable creams...
A review of the new Art of Shaving sandalwood might be nice. ;-). I know the NOS tallow is very good but interested to see how the new stuff is. Nice den tour also, thanks for the inside look.
In the meantime, you might want to read up on Rockwell's next razors -- the fully adjustable 'Model T' razor, which is chromed brass (available for pre-order for $99), plus the 'Rockwell 6C' which is a less-expensive chrome version of their stainless steel 6S. It comes in white chrome, brushed chrome and gunmetal and is available for pre-order for $45. The 'Model T' and '6C' are both expected to be released in March 2017.
You have allot of favorite ones. You do not need to go shopping for anything for your den for a lifetime. I do enjoy your video's you are doing not a good job but an excellent job. You just have a problem but I am sure the wife has told you that many times over and over and over.
Hey Nick.. great shaving den.. u do great videos. i am new to DE shaving regime.. have been into the cartridge ones for years. I enjoy the shaves with the DE ones.. i have started recently and bought the FEATHER POPULAR RAZOR to start off with, would love if u could do a review of it, since i just saw a packed feather popular razor in ur shave den. Also if u could recommend a new razor, i am confused between Edwin Jagger DE89 or Muhle R 41.. it would be a great help.. !! Hope to c ur video on FEATHER POPULAR RAZOR .. thanks.. Keep up the good work :)
Question to everyone from a newbie, from watching the vids am I write in thinking that aftershave is there more to close up the pores and help stop infection than it is as a scent ? I'm trying to understand if you use a number of different scented products and then an eau to parfum surely it becomes a bit of a mess scent wise ?
I've had some bad experiences with AoS. My wife bought me a pure badger brush, and the entire knot fell apart. (Even using proper care, like not saturating the knot & proper storage too.) Ever since then, I've also was said that they were only good for getting the word out about wet shaving. However, I do want to try their sandalwood shaving cream. It smells amazing, but seems a little too over priced.
Can you do a video about the options to clean/scrub/exfoliate your face before your shave when your in the shower? You dont need to change your setup, just keep up making great video's!
Been following ur great videos. I have read on a number of creams and soaps that state that product wiil keep up to two years if kept in dark, cool place. You obviously will not be able to use your inventory within two years - by far. Your thoughts? They keep longer - indefinitely if not opened?
how do you like and will you do a review on the razorock german 37 slant? I only found 2 videos on that razor so I decided to just go for it and pick it up. what a shave, it gives outstanding shaves even on the head! it definitely gets over looked because it's priced really low and ikon kinda runs the slant market.. anyway would love to see how you feel about it.
Great video Nick. Your recommendations are always spot on. I've been waiting for a review of Klar shaves soaps.. Want to hear what you think before I pull the trigger.
Those framed patents are awesome! Also, that's a shit ton of shaving supplies... I forgot about your sink cabinet chocked full of 'em! Have you ever mentioned where/what you do for work? Just curious. Your video quality/den setup is prime!
An entire city of men can shave for 50 years with ur stock alone
I don't think you should change your set up at all. I believe I've seen all the medium to big channels, and yours is top of the food chain in production and content.
Sidenote: your wife must love you very much if she gives up a bathroom and puts up with all that shaving stuff :D

EJ de89 is a good one to start with too
You know what I like best about your collection? It makes mine look small! My consumer guilt has decreased. Thank you so much. 😉👍
Time to do a few giveaways with your used stock.
Is that all you've got?! Lol! Good video Nick. Some great looking things you have in your den. Thanks for the tour. Camera and lighting looks just fine. Kevy.
Very envious of you Nick, keep up the great work...

I just ordered a semogue 2040 hd brush any thoughts on that one?
Just showed this to my wife, she thinks I am obsessed with wet shaving. After watching this, she is quiet 🤫 hahahaha Thanks brother! Love your collection
Im overwhelmed...
And a big thank you for introducing me to wet shaving! It has become the highligt of my everyday life.
Video quality is fine, I wouldn't spend the money unless you have other personal reasons to do so. Holy cow that's enough to start up a retail store! Perhaps an idea for thinning out the den could be to run a charity auction of some of the lesser used/duplicate soaps and items
Nice Nick, way more organized than I am! Like the under the sink drawer unit. Target here I come!
I was shocked that you use such a simple camera! You're apparently getting your audio through the camera as well? Really good quality for such an easy set up!

I want a den like this now! Crazy amount of stuff! Beginning to become a big fan of your video's.
Your videos has always been top notch! Easy and enjoyable to watch, and your "new" camera does a great job! Only "improvement" I can think of, would be a clip-on mic for better qaulity of your voice. Sweet den! :-)
You think you have enough?
Really enjoying your videos mate. Keep it up!
Thanks Nick great video!! Always enjoy your videos! Your probably the first UA-camr I watched when I started wet shaving several months ago and I've found your shaving tips very helpful. Thanks!
Wow this is a whole new world of shaving that I never knew existed 2 days ago. I'm impressed and intrigued, consider me subbed.
Fantastic update Shave Den Video Nick, Enjoyed it very much, YOUR AWSOME BROTHER . Thank You very much for sharing...

I thought in wet shaving you're supposed to save money hahah
You get into it to save money, but then the experience takes over.
You save money on the double edge razor blades compared to the cartridge razors from Gillette and Wilkinson Sword.
That was great Nick. I noticed you have a lot more safety razors since you did the last shave den tour :) Me too - this hobby is a bit addicting and not easy on the wallet!Cheers, Chris in N.H.
Nice video! Amazing collection of razors and brushes!

Nice video Nick, the next shaves HAS TO BE Acqua Di Parma and Wolfman, you gotta live a little.
When the zombie apocalypse happens you will certainly be one of the best shaved survivors lol. You could never run out of soap.
Honestly, I have more soaps and blades for one lifetime, I am very lucky and spoiled. I plan to pass most of this on!
You are smart.
It is a illness to have too much products...
Good tour Nick. I have learned a great deal from your videos. Thank you
Hi Nick,
Nice Den you have. Spotlessly clean and well laid out.
Great Stuff.
Steve in Scotland.
You might have a shopping addiction.
Nice video Nick. Leave your set up alone. Your videos are fine. I did have to show my wife that my 9 shaving cremes, three razors and three brushes are not a big deal! Thanks for the help in that area! lol I got into this as if I was going to save some money. Not gonna happen.

Great den. I have always wondered what set up you've used. Picture quality has always been fantastic with perfect lighting.
I love Cavendish too! One of my favorite scents, and the performance is amazing
wow Nick!, life is good. I like your blade storage system, lol. Keep the videos coming!
Art of Shaving has great products. Wife and I use their lavender soap.
That is some serious shaving capacity!
Nice collection, great channel.
Shocking stock shaving accessories. Very cool!
That's enough product for like 2 lifetimes! Thanks for sampling and reviewing it though, as you help save money for many people.
wow!! very nice setup and collection
Great video, Nick :-)
That was just overwhelming! Very cool shave den.
+Andreas Toft thanks! I went through a lot of stuff pretty quickly
Thanks for sharing Nick. Cool vid and you lucky lucky man 👍🏻👍🏻
Wow, amazing shave den. Thanks a lot for sharing, Nick.
Hey Nick. Your setup is fine as is, in my opinion. I should thank you. Your videos gave me the name of Anthony Esposito, which I just received my first straight razor from. Love it. So thank you.
What started your addiction to different products? A particular event, product? Also do you own any horse hair brushes?
you are a very blessed man! my wife hates the few shaving soaps and stuff I currently have. awesome shaving den though!
Excellent video quality, well done!
Great job great quality ! Top wet shaving vids nick shaves
Your collection is crazy!! Got me wanting to do some splurging on some new equipment
very nice man......how many soaps do u think u have total....
Your videos are great! Keep up the great work Nick.
Great video Nick. Always neat to see others dens. I have no problem with your setup and think the quality is quite nice. Now would be the time to review some beard oils or balms! I made my own and it's really nice. Keeps the hairs soft and skin moisturized.
Good call! Any companies you recommend for oils?
nick shaves as far as making your own or from a company? I make my own. It's actually a pre/post shave Oil I made that I'm using on the beard this month.
Some guys see this as an addiction while I look at all that and I see a life goal. LOL! Good stuff.
Awesome collection
Great video as always Nick!
Very interesting! Great collection of shaving gear. Bought the LUSH shave cream (Prince) today; a nice citrus scent, Made in England. I look forward to seeing how it performs. Ever thought of reviewing it? Thanks for the tour!

My gosh, Nick! I feel much better about my situation now. 😂👊🏼 Good video!
A review of the new Art of Shaving sandalwood might be nice. ;-). I know the NOS tallow is very good but interested to see how the new stuff is. Nice den tour also, thanks for the inside look.
Youve got it! I've heard great things about AOS sandalwood, lots of people love the scent, but not the new soap formulation
That razor storage system is foolproof good sir!
Just saw some rockwell 6S's plates at 5:00. I consider to buy the rockwell and really want to hear your opinion about it
In the meantime, you might want to read up on Rockwell's next razors -- the fully adjustable 'Model T' razor, which is chromed brass (available for pre-order for $99), plus the 'Rockwell 6C' which is a less-expensive chrome version of their stainless steel 6S. Wow! Some collection ! Want them all 😁
Hi Nick
that's a awesome collection
you are very lucky
it's hard to find this kind of quality stuff here in India :)
Just bought my first straight razor about a week ago. I think I’ll be using it exclusively for a long time.
Wow Nick! Time for some major giveaways to thin out that collecting a little bit. 😉
So much stuff nick hope all is well witchu bro bro
Nick you gotta try First Canadian Shave Soap Co. Polar Vortex. Lathers faster than anything I own. really like the cool feeling it has.
Have you considered doing a monthly favourites kinda thing?
Greetings from Switzerland Nick. Nice cup you got there ;)
I'd like to see a non shave video were you told us about a bunch of soaps that you have used off camera.
Impressive shave den! I was wondering how you dispose of your blades. Do you have a slot in the medicine cabinet?
You have allot of favorite ones. You do not need to go shopping for anything for your den for a lifetime. I do enjoy your video's you are doing not a good job but an excellent job. You just have a problem but I am sure the wife has told you that many times over and over and over.
Nice collection!
Whoa. That's a lot of product. I thought I had a problem. Be honest. You have a second room full of stones to sharpen your Dovo, right?
man u are having a great collection .
Hey Nick.. great shaving den.. u do great videos. i am new to DE shaving regime.. have been into the cartridge ones for years.
👍 Nice den. But holy crap you have soaps for another 200 years
Maybe 300 years
Hey Nick great video's, how about doing a new best soaps and creams 2016? Think a lot of viewers like to see that one. Thx keep it up.
Art of Shaving Sandalwood is outstanding...
Agreed, I use Art of Shaving Pre Shave Oil, Shave Cream, and Aftershave Balm. Love them all, excellent fragrance.
Where do you keep the toilet paper?
paker51 he don't actually sh** on this toilet :D
Zakaria EL GHAZI yeah, he has brushes soaking in there now...
@@emhaley just killed me 😂😂😂
On the dispenser!
😆
Can you do a video about the options to clean/scrub/exfoliate your face before your shave when your in the shower?
You dont need to change your setup, just keep up making great video's!
Been following ur great videos. I have read on a number of creams and soaps that state that product wiil keep up to two years if kept in dark, cool place. You obviously will not be able to use your inventory within two years - by far. Your thoughts? They keep longer - indefinitely if not opened?
Thumbs up Nick, I really enjoyed this.
Thanks man!
how do you like and will you do a review on the razorock german 37 slant? I only found 2 videos on that razor so I decided to just go for it and pick it up. what a shave, it gives outstanding shaves even on the head! it definitely gets over looked because it's priced really low and ikon kinda runs the slant market.. anyway would love to see how you feel about it.
nice collection!
