I lived nearby this street till 2008. Most buildings recorded in this video are already demolished before 2005, so this video really recalls my memories in my childhood. Thanks for sharing!
old shanghai is now just a memory for those that had seen it. its such a shame digital cameras and recordings came so late. we couldn't properly capture and archive.
@@tschengyu522 Sure. The buses and trollies (such as Line 37) were still the Skoda-based old types, and the VW Santana commercial was also the antique-painting style :)

I went to Shanghai in 1999 and 2019, just looks like two different cities
