You can’t set a duration but you can set a limit to when it should sell for you. For example if you buy at 200$ and want to sell when it gets to 250$ you can set a limit order to automate that.

On the second point about being backwards cos we are investing in overseas equities, each person has their own freedom to choose where to invest their funds! Even local banks invest in foreign equities so you can choose what fits your own portfolio 🙏🏾
