He has always done so. Even for those save the Rhinos and Elephants gala dinners that he went to in Africa. People, African businessmen and businesswomen pay good money for those tickets and he never stays, always leaves to go and enjoy the sights (paid for by those trusts). And people have always been left disappointed and cheated, but never complained because they respect the royal family, his true self is out on display.

Hazbeen is only a Patron of the Ingriftus Games, not a founder. We all know that he could never put something like that together himself. He has never put in the hard work and is nothing but a 'celebrity' figurehead used as a draw card. A patron hands out awards, not accepts them. Straight away he acknowledged Marie, Pat Tillman’s widow, (not his mother) for choosing him. When he did mention his mother Mary he said he respected her - if he respected her he would have respectfully declined the award knowing she felt he wasn’t a worthy recipient. Keeping the three veterans on the stage with him for protection against boos was a cowardly and despicable thing to do imo.

It was Mary Tillman whom Hazbeen mentioned during the snippets of the deplorable speech shown on this video. Marie wasn't mentioned in this video, yet I saw someone else state he had thanked her at another point. There's no misunderstanding whom is who in regards to these two women. Mary Tillman is the loving mother who wrote a book about her son and how the US Military tried to cover up his death to avoid possible new recruits from signing up. Marie Tillman is the widowed wife who sits as chair of the Tillman Foundation whilst raking in the money for herself. The foundation is on such shaky ground that it's being investigated and there is a warning to think hard before donating. On woman honours her dead son's memory, the other uses the name to make money from. No confusion at all.
She gets 75% of the money. I think she has realised now she screwed up giving him the award with how many are enraged he got it and how many have said they won't donate in future. She now knows the funds will be way less than they were. I think she's pissed off and I think she diserves this she was divorced from him is remarried but still using his name and is stealing his money. His mother I think should set up another account for him to close the ex wifes one down

Why was Serena presenting the award? Is she a veteran? She may have been a great athlete but I have to question why she nominated Harry, was it out of friendship or because Harry is on Serena's husband's questionable mental health group, BetterUp? Archewell also gave a $250,000 donation to Groundswell whose CEO, Jake Wood, was a speaker at the award ceremony and was one of the first to openly support Harry's nomination. The entire ESPY group could use a good looking into. Thank you H&M for showing us how charitable endeavors and foundations are used. Follow the money.

The woman who received award of him gave a wonderful speech full of gratitude and empathy. He could have learned a thing or two listening to her.
Well UA-camrs, and us listener's only started speaking out, because of Pat Tillman's mother, to highlight her voice, and words. Then there was a couple of sport commentators, who said the same. Me, 50+ year old, sitting in the UK, had never heard of these awards, or Pat Tillman. But you can only be moved by that story, on a human level. So then we felt the outrage, for his mother, and other American veterans, who should have received it. Because as Brits, we know, who started these Games, who organised them, funded them. Does William receive awards for Earthshot, no he hands then out, with money, and highlights the recipients, and their work. That's the job of a Royal, a job he didn't want to do.

When the Harkles signed with Netflix, boycotts were called for them. How many hypocrites do you think there are who will never give up their Netflix subscriptions? HE received the award. My favourite moment, aside from the booing, was when he shook her off from coming on the stage with him which she clearly expected to do.
The Invictus Games became a reality because of the efforts and support of people he left behind. At one time he did a great job being the patron, the public face that shined a light on the project. Unfortunately Harry has used Invictus for years to shine a light on himself and his wife. A wife that couldn’t even be bothered to wear Invictus gear when she disgracefully walk in front of Vets. It is her expensive fashion show that she uses to put herself front and center while grabbing a microphone any chance she gets.
