If I could go back in time and change anything about my wedding, I would redo my wedding hair and makeup. Looking back, I feel like I didn't look like myself and that's really important on your wedding day. So in honor of our 10 year wedding anniversary, I thought it was time to do a wedding makeup redo! I think mineral spfs are the only ones that really flash back, chemical sunscreens are normally completely clear

Out of the countless videos I’ve watched for makeup tutorials, this is hands down the very best.
Nikki is a treasure. Such soothing vibe, much smooth makeup. Can you guys do a light indian bridal makeup, most of the "light" indian bridal makeup is still too much, would love to see a video on it.
Actually it's because we don't get the foundation shades that match our skin many times that's why it's too much. Yeah but it's still glam and not soft glam like Susan's.
I’m so happy to see the Dior backstage foundation, it’s my go-to lately!! I also mix it with the Illuminator. I’m so happy they brought this one out, it’s beautiful!!! I used to love their glow maximizer primer/highlighter and was so sad when it was discontinued. Love love love! And both of you look so beautiful! Nikki has such a calming voice ❤️

Omg!! the BEST WEDDING MAKEUP ADVICE. Don't go overboard so that you don't look like you anymore..... I have felt like this so many times with brides especially coming from an Indian family... Brides are transformed completely, rather than accentuating their natural features a bit, BUT THEM attesting to it being not worthy to change whole appearance made my day ❤️❤️😂😂

This is the best makeup tutorial that I have seen in so long!! No others have really intrigued me lately but this one... wow. Also... the inner corner eye highlight tip is a game changer! Tried it today and I will never look back.

In a way, this showcases the differences in style over the past decade. It is great that brown liner, especially for a cat eye, is making a comeback.
I feel the same way as Susan, when I see pictures of myself at my sister’s wedding. It scarred me so much, that it was last time I wore black eyeliner rimmed around my entire eye. While, I love winged black liquid liner, black is too harsh in the waterline and tear duct. Also, the way the makeup artist did my lips, made me realize why I prefer bolder colors. She put a color on my that made my (already small) lips completely disappear, and caused me to look sickly. Which is why when I was a bridesmaid at my cousin’s wedding, everyone told me to do my own makeup. They knew I would be unhappy, if something went wrong.

Agree with no spf that day and try to invest in a mua with modern, updated products and techniques!

I am so happy I found this. The detailed tutorial is terrific. I’m getting married in April 2022 and this is exactly what I was wanting to do and I have been so hesitant to go to a makeup artist because I always feel not like myself when I have done that. So…I purchased every single item used in this tutorial. Yes that came to about 27 items including the lashes (I think you have 24 listed). I had to hunt a few of them down. Thankfully I have until April to practice doing this myself because…well I’m not Nikki by a looooonnnngggg shot. Any guesses how much it all cost? About $800. No, Im not kidding.

Ugh I wish Nikki could do my bridal makeup on November. I hated my makeup when I did my trial so now I’m doing my own. This video is sooo helpful. Nikki bought her wedding dress from the dress shop I used to work at. Yelena bridal in Monrovia! She looked so amazing! She bought this amazing burnt velvet pinkish dress and she had this amazing bouquet of peonies! All the consultants loved how she looked and she was such a wonderful sweet client. She looked absolutely beautiful and I think she told us she did her own makeup!
