Also, happy to hear I'm not the only one who spends a lot of time making products. I used to take a previous product and copy then change, but now I'm working on making templates for everything I use repeatedly.
Templates are the way to go! Saves heaps of time!
I do have templates, and that definitely helps, but it makes me feel better that I’m not the only one taking 20-30 hours for one product.

As always, another super informative video, Lori-Anne! Thanks so much. In fact, I landed here because I had just finished updating a tpt product and wanted to share my experience with your TOU templates! [ Oh, maybe I should be using my other profile!] LOL ... Instead of searching out your original video, I am posting here. :) It still is about templates.
Anyway, I wanted to comment on your TOU template that I purchased (other profile tpt). Hopefully, this information can help streamline others' product flow. I chose one of your TOU templates, adapted the colours for my Mother's Day mazes, and then while updating another product, I just changed out the background colour, rejigged the colours on the headers to make it themed! What I love about your TOU template was that I don't have to think! After reading what you had included, done is such a professional manner, I knew that I wouldn't be looking at content, but rather changing out the b/g, and the colours behind the header topics and all the while, having my logo remain, unchanged, in its permanent position! LOL There. NEW themed TOU to match each product done in less than 5 minutes. LOL, as long as you don't take forever to decide on the background. LOL

I create templates for everything. Video previews, PDF previews, covers and thumbnails, pins (idea, static, and video pins), and use create similar listing on TPT when uploading a product. I have almost 600 products and I can’t imagine myself going back to zero every time I finish a resource 😅

@@ItsAllPrimary I'm having such a hard time finding the answer to how to secure/flatten a animated powerpoint presentation to sell on TPT. If I flatten it, will the animation still work? I noticed that my clickable links to my TPT store advertisements page doesn't work once I flatten. Any ideas, help, would be so welcome! :)
Thanks a lot for a great video! I also use templates for almost everything except for certain complicated worksheets where it is easier to create from the scratch than using the templates. I don't create any Google Slides or Boom Cards. I have got olny PDFs in my store. I think that creating printable worksheets takes much more time because ..... (I love it to look perfect😅).... all shortcomings are visible to the buyers and students once the worksheets are printed out 🙄
I may not be very popular, but I think that creating worksheets from the beginning is very rewarding and motivating. It is my creative outlet. I love inventing new activities for kids. Actually I really don't want my store look like a bunch of 'different season same item'. 🤥 I know that it takes a lot of time to create from the scratch, but I do see more and more repeat buyers in my sales reports.
I can't say how many hours I spend on creating each product.... Actually I count in days due to my work schedule. 😂 Some tough high/middle school grammar may take upto 6-8 DAYS😑.... And I always work on 5-6 projects at a time.

Hi Ana, I don't think I do, but I can easily create one. Canva is great for making banners.

First place you should check is Teachers Pay Teachers. Type in the search bar the kind of clipart you are looking for. For example: background clipart.
