Just gonna pin this up here since lots of people are asking about it: Tattoos are allowed in all 3 of these sento! Some sento may be stricter on tattoos so be sure to check, but it seems that lots of baths/onsen are relaxing their policies in order to accommodate foreign visitors with the olympics nearing :) And again, in case you missed it, don't wear a towel/bathing suit like me - that's just for filming!
I don't know, I think even the Victoria's Secret model will probably be feeling a bit shy and embarrassed, being naked around a bunch of other people - it puts you on the same playing level. Every time I've gone to onsen, the hardest part is taking your clothes off, but once you do, everything just sorta continues like normal, like as if you had your clothes on. I've gone with all the students at my school, and everyone just kinda chats like normal, and no one's really looking at each other - I guess you can't compare your bodies when you're trying hard to make sure your eyes stay at everyone's eye level lol. But I think the phrase came from back in the day when people of status would wear very expensive kimono, but even if you weren't wealthy and didn't have those status symbols, it wouldn't matter because no one's wearing them. I guess the same goes for people these days, a rich businessman might arrive in a suit, but he's equal to the person who arrived in a hand-me-down t-shirt for the duration of the bath. :)
You know the photos in the adverts often aren’t real? I imagine makeup has to removed too. In reality, I suspect a lot of them look averagely attractive.
it all depends. It's meaning may vary. in my opinion, I believe there is no perfect body so why bother to be shame of my own but to be shy then that's a different story 😄
Stumbling Is Not Falling says: "I don't think I'd feel very equal if I was standing naked next to a Victoria's Secret model lol" == I'd bet Victoria's secret model would be more insecure than you. More time you spend thinking about your appearance the more insecure you'll become. They need more assurance all the time.
I loved the variety of the first one ☝🏽 especially the black and silk baths. But the scenery of the third one was nice too :) overall, they were all great and learned a lot! Great video 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks for posting this...so much nostalgia...me and my grandma used to bathe in public baths daily since we didn't have a shower in her tiny apartment. It was fun walking nightly over the train tracks, drink some cold refreshments after bathing then head home all sleepy and warm and tired :-)
This video was actually so relaxing, almost like I was visiting the Sento around Japan. Great video Sharla, you did such a good job putting this together!
Wow, the massage bath is definitely something I'd end up staying in for the whole time! Also, the people working there were so sweet and helpful! I'll have to check it out when I'm in Japan next time! ♥ PS: I have the same shoes! 😊
The Kawaii Planet just make sure to use soap and water to scrub down your body before going in the water - she forgot to mention that in the video and local people will be upset. Everyone uses the same water in the baths so it's very important to get clean using soap, not just water alone like she showed in the video. Hair needs to be up and away from water as well - she had her hair up in the video but also forgot to mention that it's a cultural requirement!
Excellent video of Japanese sento. At least as far back as the 1980's, every neighborhood had a sento bathhouse. Many of the low-rent single-room apartments did not have a bath or shower. There were many low-rent single-room apartments and i lived in one of them as a student. The sento bathhouse was where the neighbors got together to discuss neighborhood things and just socialize. Often, we would meet neighbors at the sento and go out for dinner or a beer together after the sento. Like my neighbors, I would wear my wool kimono to the sento in winter and my cotton yukata or jimbei clothes in summer..with wooden clog "Geta" shoes. Not everybody wore those traditional clothes, but lots of people did and it didn't seem odd. The cost in the early 1980s was 210 yen. I remember the fragrances of the soaps and hot water when you entered the sento entrance and put your shoes in the wooden boxes. Everybody knew everybody. In those days, many sento heated the water with wood from discarded building materials. You could find neighborhood sento by looking for the tall chimneys with the "Yu" logo painted on it that stood higher than most of the houses and buildings. Every neighborhood had sento and if you had a bicycle, you could easily explore many sento near your own apartment. Sento started to disappear in the 1990s and few remain today.
I find, for all its modesty and rules, Japan's Sentos and Onsen are very open and accepting of nudity. Viewing it as a way for everyone to be seen as equal rather than a negative or bad thing. While I might be nervous trying this out, I think, if I ever make it Japan I might make myself go to one of these just for the experience. Thanks Sharla !!
I been to one in Kyoto and it was very relaxing. It was in the old style like the last one you went to. Just watching this video made me miss being in Japan.
@Erik Schmidt nah I'm not from the us but I live in the us and I'm an introvert so sharing a bath with other people and being completely naked dosen't sound like something I would do😂
Great video Sharla! I think it's really nice that you compared these three sento. I also like that you've included a statement of the worker/owner of the sento.
I thought I recognised that bandai at the Inari-yu bathhouse! I watched that movie on the plane on my way back from Japan! It was so good. The traditional sento looked so cool! Thanks for sharing, Sharla! 😃
You make me feel so much better about not travelling before. I can watch your videos for hours (sometimes I do!) and pretend I'm there. I, like a lot of people, worry about my first trip to Japan because I have quite a few visible tattoos and I don't speak/read Japanese at all. Some day, i'll get there.
I love stuff like this, but that aquarium is so sad. :C No proper gravel or anything on the bottom, no plants, nowhere for the fish to hide or get physical and visual stimulation..
Sento are something that I fell in love with on my first trip to Japan. We stayed in an AirBnB in Kyoto that had a super tiny bath. It was freezing cold during our trip, so the sento was where I went to warm up. I wish we had these in my home town.
I knew some sento still existed, but I didn't think it would be so many! I'll definitely want to go! And thanks for putting in the comments about tattoos. It's good to know that these three are fine with tattoos(knew they had to be, to allow you in! XD), so I'll definitely do my research first when looking into sento. Thanks so much for this fun and informative video! ^.^ I wish there were sento here... Maybe if I'd been exposed to this growing up, I wouldn't have so much discomfort and dysphoria, in relation to my body(I suffer from gender dysphoria bouts, though nowhere near as strong as they used to be, and have gotten better since coming out as non binary. ^.^)
Between Sharla In Japan, Simon and Martina, and the other channels I watch, it's apparent that many Bath Houses / Onsen are having to accept some degree of tattoos with the changing of their culture. They keep mentioning how more are changing their policies to be more accepting, so it'll probably snowball quickly until only a few remain that try to stay more conservative. I get that they did it to avoid Gang (yakuza) issues, but that can't be strictly adhered to if you want to keep businesses running as the culture changes.
Seattle Sheikah if you go make sure to use soap & water to shower off before the baths, in the video she only used water and forgot to mention that everyone expects you to be squeaky clean before going in the sentos baths. Just a heads up so you don't offend anyone! And make sure your hair doesn't touch the water!
It makes a lot of sense to make bathing areas a place of community. It's in our instinct to bond over hygiene, and-like it's stated in the video-everyone is more equal when they're naked. Society puts a lot of pressure on individuals to present themselves in certain ways, so it's just feels a lot more honest to not rely on trinkets and clothing to present a status. Even if you don't look amazing when everything is off, there's a certain confidence and honesty that comes with doing it anyway. I mean, it's not (supposed to be) a place where you check people out, so it comes down to respect.
Assuming you're comfortable with the temperature, how long is it generally acceptable to remain in the bath? Because I can definitely imagine myself getting super relaxed and then just kinda spacing out for an hour lol
Sento are public baths (ie, people go there to clean themselves), and are man-made, with usually tap water. Onsen are natural hot springs, people go there to relax and for health benefits, like going to a spa.
Alexandre Peltier says: "Whats is the difference between sento and Onsen? Thanks" == Sentos are local business where you walk into regularly and use commonly available fuel to heat the water. Atami used to have hot spring but because of convenient distance from Tokyo the town got so busy they built many business and soon the water had run out. Atami as a hot spring resort is still in the business but no natural hot spring.
Love the sentiment! But there's something about getting into a bath that thousands of people have been into before me washing themselves! Not for me! Infection control is a big part of my career, lol! It makes you see the world with different eyes! As I say love the sentiment behind it though!
Regardless of the fact that people wash before entering the bath or not, human beings carry many bacteria that love to grow in warm environments, and that is spelling it out in a simple manner! As I said before, I love the sentiment but knowing what I know it isn't for me! Personal choice, personal opinion, but good on the hundreds of thousands that do enjoy sharing a bath with others!
I would be scared of the electric bath because when you're little they always teach you not to have electronics near the bath tub. I never really thought electricity and baths would be a good combination lol. But maybe worth a shot?
Are some bathhouses more designated for foreigner or do japanse people not really care about that? I could imagine an elderly not really being comfortable naked with a foreigner but maybe that’s just me 😅
Foreigner in Japan here (not living in Tokyo). I've been to the bathhouse and honestly nobody gives a single f*ck. Some people will look, but I mean, it's natural. I've had an old lady who I was sharing a bath with ask me where I was from. Then she left me alone to relax!
I don't think it's about being foreigner friendly or not but a few that's I've been to which we're more out of the way had some right chatty Kathy's in there ended up almost melting in a bath because I was too shy to end the conversation :')
Your videos keep giving me reason to not give up on my dream and to just work my hardest to move to Japan. It will be hard but I want to strive where I feel comfortable
Ms. Nohotyoga Not allowed with open wounds or the rest. I believe there are special "healing" onsen that may be ok if you're injured or sick. You'd have to check.
If you watch several channels of vlogers in Japan, it's becoming apparent that more places are opening up to Tattoos. They may have a sub policy of NO GANG related ones, but people like Simon and Martina are starting to find places finally that allow them to come in with their full sleeves of things like Unicorns and puppies.
I am so glad you made this video. I am about to head over to Japan from the USA for severeal months. I thought I couldn't go to any Sento's. When I was an exchange student, my family went to sento's weekly but now I have tattoos, there fore I thought I was SOL. Thanks again I am so excited.
This makes me so happy! When I was in Japan for a year I used to live in Sendagi, and every week my friends and I would walk to the Sento in Nippori! I am so happy that you were able to film there! I really miss that part of my daily life now that I'm back in Canada. Thank you for making this video so I can show all my friends and family the Sento I used to frequent
This doesn't have much to do with the video, but man, Sharla, you are one beautiful girl. lol. The sentos are great, too, of course. lol. Unfortunately, I didn't make time to go when I visited Tokyo earlier this year.
One of the things I miss the most from living in Japan is the sentos. It was just such a relaxing atmosphere. I lived in an area with very few foreigners, but after having been to the same sento a few times, they stopped, because people got used to seeing me.
Very. You're required to soap of and wash off BEFORE you get into the Sento so that keeps the water quite clean. Urinating and defecating in the water are strictly prohibited and you can get in a lot of trouble for doing so. People aren't allowed to enter if they have open wounds. Honestly Japan is a germaphobes haven.
Does anyone know what is the general accepted rule on pubic hair at these baths? Do u have to shave or is it weird to shave ? I don’t wanna go and then have people look at me funny coz I did something wrong lol
I work in a Korean spa and we have a hydrotherapy pool with jets and individual seatings where you press a button and it massages different parts of your body. It’s my favorite part of the spa.
I want to visit sento and onsen when I go to Japan some day, but I am transgender (female to male) so I think I will not be allowed. Do you know if this is the case?
Skywreckdemon in the olden days many sentos were "mixed bath" where anyone cold come bathe together and there was no segregation of genders. I'm sure there are still some more traditional bath houses where you could go if you felt comfortable with it. Maybe do a little research before you go and see what's there 😊
Its funny i was reading an Odigo post about these Sento on my FB feed the other day, and i was imagining what they would be like on the inside and low and behold you pop up a video on them. Thank you Sharla 😍
This video was filmed and edited with such a good taste, the thumbnail is very classy too. I don't know about America but here in Europe (at least were I live) we have public baths too, but is not as common or used as in Japan.
I expected to click on this and skim through it like I do most youtube videos, but for some reason I found myself watching the entirety. Very well documented here if I do say so myself 💙
Scrimbo unless they are bleeding a ton in the water and you have an open sore it should be safe. Its like kissing someone with an std, you cant catch anything through sweat or spit. Only through blood.
Alaina E. You can get a std from kissing someone and spit and sweat. If someone mouth is bleeding and you have a cut you can get it. But to get it through spit and sweat it would to be 1+ gallons of the body fluid
On Netflix they have a show called Japanese style originator. In one of the episodes you can watch the guy painting that scene on the wall with his apprentice. They point out that the mountain having snow on it while the rest of the painting doesn't makes it really unique. I recommend checking it out.
Just gonna pin this up here since lots of people are asking about it:

Sharla in Japan
This is awesome. I was just watching a video from you last year at a place like This. This is awesome.
タトゥーは銭湯大丈夫でスーパー銭湯はほぼダメですね。
What about for women who have had breast cancer are there 'private' baths
Weird, why is it not allowed to have tattoos? I wonder.
Helen Matthews why would there be special ones.
"when you're naked, everyone is equal" thats strangely inspirational
I don't know, I think even the Victoria's Secret model will probably be feeling a bit shy and embarrassed, being naked around a bunch of other people - it puts you on the same playing level. let's be equal real quick
Stumbling Is Not Falling says:

==
I'd bet Victoria's secret model would be more insecure than you.
More time you spend thinking about your appearance the more insecure you'll become.
They need more assurance all the time.
This is how you should take a bath. First shower to get the dirt off and then get into the bath. I wouldn't want to sit in my own filth.
Snow Anaya This is how I take baths at home, too.
technically you sit in your own filth all the time until you shower
pyromantic-prince That is true. You made a very good technical point there.
Yep that's how I do it once I learned about that process! :)
I feel like it would use so much water. I either shower or bathe daily and I think its already lots of water !
Am I the only one who think about how many naked people those fish has seen?
The fish see each other naked all the time.
That's perverted.
Ms. Nohotyoga how Is it perverted?
bahaha why do you think their eyes are so wide 😂
Yurivlog 100th like

Right! It's so hard to pick a favourite!
Sharla in Japan yesss! I would want to go to all of them 😆😆 lol
That aquarium looked really sad. Zero plants/enrichment :(
Jess R I thought the same...looks like those big tanks you pick out fish from at stores that look so unhealthy.
I know! Not even a flooring :( or even one hideaway! I wonder how often they feed the fish and change the water and stuff
At least the water looks clean, so they must clean it, but I agree it is lacking in plants and amenities for the fish.
Fish don't care. They have no brains. They don't know what a plant is and might try to eat it. Fishes are morans
Thanks for posting this...so much nostalgia...me and my grandma used to bathe in public baths daily since we didn't have a shower in her tiny apartment. It was fun walking nightly over the train tracks, drink some cold refreshments after bathing then head home all sleepy and warm and tired :-)

If ur going then im going.
Top quality video as usual, thank you so much Sharla for telling us about the tradition of a Country that deserves to be shown over and over again
+Alberto Filippi thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it☺️
Sharla in Japan Yes, from the very beginning to the end! please keep It up, you're incredibly inspiring 😊
Wow, the massage bath is definitely something I'd end up staying in for the whole time! Also, the people working there were so sweet and helpful! I'll have to check it out when I'm in Japan next time! ♥ PS: I have the same shoes! 😊

this only makes me want to take a 2-3 week vacation to japan even more .... someday my dream will come true.. 😭
It's not as expensive as you may think. I went for 10 days and it cost less than $2000.
That's exactly what I'm doing at the end of this year. I would definitely recommend saving up and going!
@@3DJapan can I travel to Japan from Baghdad??
So your dream will only last 2-3 weeks?
I need to go next time!! Looks so fun in the carbonated bath lol

thank you Sharla for sharing this priceless fact and the great tradition of Japan. my applauses to you
This was the most educational video about sentos I'v watched. Thank you Sharla
Thank you for showing tattoo friendly ones! I’ve been looking for some to go to when I visit and haven’t had much luck!! 💜💜💜
I don't think I could ever do that if other people where in there. To whoever can do that with others I applause you.
Sharing a single bathroom with 6 other People has prepared me for this
@@thetillerwiller4696 with many sibling I can conform, I too can do that.
@Erik Schmidt nah I'm not from the us but I live in the us and I'm an introvert so sharing a bath with other people and being completely naked dosen't sound like something I would do😂
This is the first time I’m hearing about an electric bath that you can get out of alive! Lol. Very diverse baths
Inari-Yu was my favorite! I loved the old style, the manga collection, and the koi pond.
I think I would like to go to that one too, if I'm ever in Japan. :)
Great video Sharla! I think it's really nice that you compared these three sento. I also like that you've included a statement of the worker/owner of the sento.

The last sento looks very similar to the one Arioka, Yamada and Chinen from Hey! Say! JUMP visited in an episode of itadaki high jump!
pretty sure it's the same
Dani-motion I think it is as well, it would be so cool to visit!
Another reason as to why I am in love with Japanese culture 😊
Three in one day? You must've been all pruned up!
…Whatever makes you think this was filmed all in a single day?
She says it in the bio ;)
I don’t think that “today” is literal…
ALAKTORN it was filmed in one day! I can’t afford three trips to Tokyo for one video😅😅
Lmao pruned 😂 I keep thinking about them raisin fingers
when I go to Japan defenetly I want to visit. it's something that has been for many years it's super nice that they are still open. thanks Sharla 😊😊
I love stuff like this, but that aquarium is so sad. :C No proper gravel or anything on the bottom, no plants, nowhere for the fish to hide or get physical and visual stimulation..
Nathus Dorkus yeah that bothered me too but it didn't shock me much, animal rights isn't really a huge thing in Japan
Koi and Goldfish don’t care about that kinda stuff. The tank would be a mess because they tear up plants and stir up substrate
They get to see naked people
Yeah i think there should be a hideaway
Sento are something that I fell in love with on my first trip to Japan. We stayed in an AirBnB in Kyoto that had a super tiny bath. It was freezing cold during our trip, so the sento was where I went to warm up. I wish we had these in my home town.

Of course it is. What else should it be?
Jenna America is the only country that uses F plus look closely, you'd see the C underneath
Jenna Dewitt why would she get in water that's almost freezing😭
wow those bath houses look amazing! thanks for doing this video sharla.

RevolverLink there’s no time limit so you can stay in as long as the sento is open!
That's good to know, thank you for answering!
Yeah there was an old Japanology TV show dedicated to sentos and I remember Peter Barakan talking about Mt. Fuji paintings. Nice topic Sharla. Thanks.
Are they often crowded? Or are there times where you could be the only one..?
Soraya Lease both👍
If you go early or when people are doing other things (work, school, eating lunch, etc), it is possible for no one else to be there.
I love how you show more than one bath house. And also these are so cool! I’m saving up to go to Japan with my family 😘😋
Whats is the difference between sento and Onsen? Thanks
im no expert but i believe onsen are natural while sento is man made
Sento's use tap water, Onsen's use spring water
Sento are public baths (ie, people go there to clean themselves), and are man-made, with usually tap water. Onsen are natural hot springs, people go there to relax and for health benefits, like going to a spa.

you dont actually wash yourself in a sento... thats what the shower is for... is just a naked hotub.. you dont wash yourself in a hotub do you?
Yeah japanese bath culture is you wash yourself before having a bath. Baths are for relaxing and soaking not cleaning.
Cath Hill have you ever been to a public pool? A beach?
Did you watch the video? It's general sento etiquette to shower and wash yourself before getting into the tub
This was really fascinating! Seeing the different styles and hearing from the different owners was really cool :)
"When your Naked, everyone is equal"- Chilashi Kobayashi
No, I'm fat and i'm feel superior 😂 jk
Wow I felt so relaxed watching this video! I'm sure actually being there is even more relaxing!😊🙂
Wait.. didnt Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift had a scene in the last sento ?? It looks very familiar. :p
I don't know if it was also in F&F, but the movie she's talking about came out in 2016. Her Love Boils Bathwater (湯を沸かすほどの熱い愛).
No it was I also noticed that
No it's not the same one, if you watch the scene it's on a completely different street and there's no Fuji painting on the wall.
Crystal Castles thanks investigator.. lol
I loved the electric bath when I was in Shizuoka! So tingly!
I would be scared of the electric bath because when you're little they always teach you not to have electronics near the bath tub. I never really thought electricity and baths would be a good combination lol. But maybe worth a shot?
Yeahhh I was kinda scared but I couldn't feel it at all!
If you could feel it, high enough voltage, that would already be violating a lot of building codes I reckon.
Beautiful video . I am really looking forward to visiting Japan someday .
Are some bathhouses more designated for foreigner or do japanse people not really care about that? I could imagine an elderly not really being comfortable naked with a foreigner but maybe that’s just me 😅
I don't think Japan mind if there's foreigners in bathehouses....
tbh I will be to shy to be in one XD
Foreigner in Japan here (not living in Tokyo). I've been to the bathhouse and honestly nobody gives a single f*ck. Some people will look, but I mean, it's natural. I've had an old lady who I was sharing a bath with ask me where I was from. Then she left me alone to relax!
Nah, there were some elderly women in the bath when I went, and no one really cared- everyone just sorta does their own thing.
Why there is nobody in those sento :| they are always empty, it is so creepy.
Btw, good video ♡
I don't think it's about being foreigner friendly or not but a few that's I've been to which we're more out of the way had some right chatty Kathy's in there ended up almost melting in a bath because I was too shy to end the conversation :')
Your videos keep giving me reason to not give up on my dream and to just work my hardest to move to Japan. It will be hard but I want to strive where I feel comfortable
What if someone has a bandaid or a scab and it falls off? What if they have lice, scabies, or if they urinate or defecate in the bath?
Ms. Nohotyoga Not allowed with open wounds or the rest. I believe there are special "healing" onsen that may be ok if you're injured or sick. You'd have to check.
i doubt a lot of people in japan have lice, and most onsens make people tie their hair up.
Ms. Nohotyoga Haven't you ever been swimming though? Same difference..
Too many worries in one sentence, your life must be great.
Ms. Nohotyoga none of this is allowed if u shit in the bath ur definitely going to jail
thank you, I wanted to visit one of these but felt unsure about what all it included, now I'm feeling better about visiting one on my own
Are tattoos still taboo at onsens/snetos? Or are they starting to relax on that or more forgiving to Westerners?
xThehumanoidx I heard they are relaxing that rule with the Olympics heading there.
The government asked them to start accepting tattoos. It's not a law or anything, just a request so some of them are starting to allow it more.
No it is not. Some do allow. It just depends where you’re going.:) I’m a jpn so I know and i have friends that have tattoos and it’s alright.
In some places you are asked to put stickers on your tattoos
Love your videos! Thorough, informative and entertaining to watch. Thank you.
Luv u sharla
timu delamere ❤️
I am so glad you made this video. I am about to head over to Japan from the USA for severeal months. I thought I couldn't go to any Sento's. When I was an exchange student, my family went to sento's weekly but now I have tattoos, there fore I thought I was SOL. Thanks again I am so excited.
Can't believe how early I am
This makes me so happy! When I was in Japan for a year I used to live in Sendagi, and every week my friends and I would walk to the Sento in Nippori! I am so happy that you were able to film there! I really miss that part of my daily life now that I'm back in Canada. Thank you for making this video so I can show all my friends and family the Sento I used to frequent
+Paige T oh no way! That’s so cool :D Nice little area to live in☺️
Wondering, do you have to be 18 or older to enter the sentos? Or are there mid range sentos for 15-18 year olds?
Alana Rabinowitz all ages use the same baths together :)
That will attract pedofiles
Bumble Bre
exactly 😨
Bumble Bre yes. Going outside will attract pedophiles, murderers, diseases. Being born will attract death
Keep the good quality Sharla :) loving it, thanks!
Me who barely takes bath :
"So this is taking bath feels like"
😭
i literally saw the 3rd sento today when i watched episode 2 of "home sweet tokyo" on NHKworld, it was kind of surreal seeing it twice in one day!
the big aquarium is absolutely horrible T_T poor fishies v_v
Thanks for the video :D it was really informative and super cool to see a modern and traditional sento!
Just curious...is this sanitary?
I am addicted to your videos. so very peaceful and educational. :)
Athlete's foot. Nuff said
This video was so calming omg
Does anyone know what is the general accepted rule on pubic hair at these baths? Do u have to shave or is it weird to shave ? I don’t wanna go and then have people look at me funny coz I did something wrong lol
+Lexiiaa L anything is ok! In general Japanese people don’t so if you wanna fit in you could just leave it but I don’t think anyone will stare :)
Thats good to know thank you! :))
Yeah Japanese people don't really shave down there so it doesn't matter either way I guess
Documentary-style. Very well-made and informative.
I'd be wary of creepers!!
Maybe do a little research before you go and see what's there 😊
There may be issues if you’ve not had SRS.
Its funny i was reading an Odigo post about these Sento on my FB feed the other day, and i was imagining what they would be like on the inside and low and behold you pop up a video on them. Thank you Sharla 😍
4.30....... ummm the glass reflection
Annie Leonhart She's wearing a swimsuit. Relax. Lol.
I saw that too !!:))
It’s a skin coloured one piece ;)
I paused and it's definitely not a bathing suit, theres no line or anything..
Delicious...
So good, totally love it, thank you so much for taking us to all these wonderful places Sharla, you are the best🤗
I hope that some Ghanaian homes will have sentos for baths.
This will cool and wonderfull in year 2022
As a shower person, I've never been so attracted to a bath.
This video was filmed and edited with such a good taste, the thumbnail is very classy too. I don't know about America but here in Europe (at least were I live) we have public baths too, but is not as common or used as in Japan.
Sharla please rewatch your video and take it down/edit it. There was a glimpse of your body without a towel..
+Andrea Davis it’s okay it’s a skin coloured bathing suit! :) Thank you though!
Andrea Davis i thought I was the only one who saw that I was looking through the comments to see if there was a explanation before I said something
Megan Clayton same
Andrea Davis I saw that too
I expected to click on this and skim through it like I do most youtube videos, but for some reason I found myself watching the entirety. Very well documented here if I do say so myself 💙
Aw thank you, I really appreciate that and I'm glad you found it interesting! :)
After seeing the third sento, I have made a conclusion.
*we ride at dawn*
So neat! Thanks filming about it!
"When you're naked everyone is equal " those poor flat chested girls vs the D cups.
I had no idea there were so many types of baths, I really want to experience the electric one. Very informative video! Thank you!
What if someone has like an STD lol
Scrimbo unless they are bleeding a ton in the water and you have an open sore it should be safe. Its like kissing someone with an std, you cant catch anything through sweat or spit. Only through blood.
Scrimbo that isn't something to laugh /put "lol" about.....not trying to be rude but its just not
Andres Cardenas okay lol
Alaina E. You can get a std from kissing someone and spit and sweat. If someone mouth is bleeding and you have a cut you can get it. But to get it through spit and sweat it would to be 1+ gallons of the body fluid
"Sexually transmitted disease" i dont think that sitting in a tub with people in it gives u an std but maybe im wrong
This would be my favourite vlog to do... you just get to go to from bath to bath!!
These are so cool I’m definitely going to them when I go to Japan!
銭湯に行きたくなりました
子供と一緒に入ってもゆったりとしたスペースがあっていいですよね
On Netflix they have a show called Japanese style originator. In one of the episodes you can watch the guy painting that scene on the wall with his apprentice. They point out that the mountain having snow on it while the rest of the painting doesn't makes it really unique. I recommend checking it out.
The last one is my fav I wish to go there it has peaceful place + Manga it's a dream come true
