    In a place that's a boom town like Cape Coral apparently all but one major hurricanes to hit this city happened before the city was founded. Homes building on every corner, I know most people here have never experienced a major hurricane.

    Max winds of only 100mph? 100mph is when the fun starts. My location in Miami is over due for wind gusts in the 110-130mph range. Which is honestly what I am looking forward to. Gusts above 130mph become too destructive and below 100mph is too tame.

      That’s what I was thinking only 100 mph? That’s so weak but David’s weather stations can measure up too 200 mph those are the stations I’m looking for. I live in the Caribbean and with these hurricanes there no wind below 100 mph.

    I just bought a weather station & put it up about 2 days ago i did get a ambient weather i have had several others that have just died within a year here in the south in the Appalachian Mountains we get some krazy weather from sun shining at 100+ & 100% humidity to sleet an rain all within a 24 hour period ..lol. so it has to be prety tough to last very long here & that made in china junk ya get at wall mart just dont last around here ..i did my research and found out Ambient weather makes some really good weather stations for the money so thats what i bought I think the best would be a Davis vantage pro 2 or slimier model but for now my litle AW-2902c will do just fine !

      My WS2000 died after 1.5 years due to poor protection against moisture. I was very disappointed

    If a hurricane breaks the weather station is it covered by the manufacturer warranty?

    I think my country Scotland is going to get some bad storms
    Also you should look up hurricane low q the only cat 5 hurricane to hit the uk

    • @iCyclone
      @iCyclone  2 роки тому +2

      No hurricane of any category has ever hit the UK. However, the Great Storm of 1987 brought Cat-1 (possibly Cat-2) winds to the UK.

      @@iCyclone did yo look up hurricane low q

      @@local_furry_SCOTLAND I know which storm you're talking about: the 1968 Scotland Storm. It was very severe, and it had hurricane-force winds, but it was not a hurricane. Hurricanes can't get up there because the water is too cold.

      @@iCyclone so that why they never called storms hurricane here in Scotland well that’s a shame
