Which is the best season to visit Andaman?
Of course, winter.
Here is a 9 Nights 10 Days tour itinerary for Andaman:
Day 1: Arrive at Port Blair by air or ship.
Visit Cellular Jail and Corbyn’s Cove beach in the afternoon.
Day 2: Ross Island and North Bay Island visit by boat.
Visit Mount Harriet National Park in the afternoon.
Day 3: Transfer to Havelock Island by cruise.
Kalapathar beach and Radhanagar beach sightseeing.
Day 4: Day tour to Elephant beach by boat.
Day 5: Transfer from Havelock to Neil Island.
Lakshmanpur beach 1 and 2 sightseeing. Sunset from Lakshmanpur beach 1
Day 6: Sunrise at Sitapur beach 1. Later visit Bharatpur beach.
Can walk to Lakshmanpur beach 1 for sunset in the evening.
Explore the island on foot(very small and peaceful island).
Day 7: Transfer from Neil Island to Port Blair by cruise.
Chidiya Tapu and Munda Pahar trek in the afternoon.
Day 8: Leave early at 4am for Jarawa Reserve forest and Baratang Island visit. Return by evening to Port Blair.
Day 9: Visit Chatham Saw Mill, Samudrika Naval Sea Museum.
Wandoor Beach in the evening.
Day 10: Check-out from Port Blair. Back to home.
5N Port Blair, 2N Havelock, 2N Neil Island
Pro tips:
1. Make sure to book your cruise and ferry tickets in advance.
2. Keep your id card photocopies handy on the day of Baratang visit.
3. If you have more time, do visit Diglipur.
4. If you have still more time or visiting Andaman for the 2nd time, visit Long Island, Lalaji Bay Beach,Mark Bay Beach and Guitar Island. They’re absolutely beautiful and untouched.
5. The same itinerary can also be done in lesser days, but will hamper the overall experience.
