As praised as he is, I still consider Alan Davis criminally underrated. He's never turned in a bad book, he's worked on every major title over the years and has a distinctive, clean beautiful style. Struggling to think of another active artist that's maintained as high a standard as Davis for as long as he has.
X-Men fans: you probably know this already, but if you are reading Fall of X, you need to put Iron Man in your read pile. Current X-books have it as part of the reading order checklist at the end of each issue, and even DCBS lists Iron Man with the X-titles. Given that Stark and the mutants are fighting the same villain, and that Duggan is writing X-Men and Iron Man, it makes sense.
Daredevil: The Man Without Fear is one of my top 3 favorite limited series with The Infinity Gauntlet and Avengers: Forever. I have the single issues (the embossed covers are great), the Daredevil by Frank Miller Omnibus Companion, the Marvel Premiere Classic hardcover and I'm looking forward to get this Epic Collection! Omar, you are correct to say this volume fills a gap. In fact, the only volumes that remain to be published are 7 to 11 before the first ongoing series of Daredevil is collected in full in the Epic Collection format.
Ok, silver age needs to start getting more love and appreciation not for ironic value (if people perceive it as such which I would hate lol) or historical value or because it's "cutesy" or something. It's genuinely compelling, profound, wholesome and charming stuff. And there's a lot of nice candid character moments as well as having some humor and a tongue in cheek nature to it and that of course comes from Stan's personality. There's also a certain intentional heightened drama to it which again comes from Stan stylistically that is great for style and a vibe. Not to mention the long term continuity and characterization he was establishing for the Marvel Universe along with Kirby and Ditko.
Abbatoir by Jim Starlin and Joe Chiodo as well as Miller and JrJr MwF is worth the price alone for the DD epic. MwF is my second (very close) favorite story next to DD Born Again and not to be missed for anyone that has never read this story.
Daredevil Epic Into The Fire is fire indeed. The Man Without Fear mini is worth the price all by itself. Excellent story. Hopefully it gets a Gallery edition one day.
Loved Avengers - War Against Time. As soon as I saw the creative team I knew I'd want each issue. Must pick up that Thor digest too. A series I started reading and enjoyed, but haven't completed
Hi Omar! I think your channel is really cool. I'm a big fan. And I'd like to see a video of you talking about the works of Christophe Chabouté. If possible, thank you.
So what you are you saying Omar is if New Warriors get epics I should immediately pick them up🙂 I really enjoyed the Hero killers storyline. My first experience of NW😋

Defalco Thor run doesn't get the respect it deserves. Would love to see it and Thunderstike get a few omnibus volumes.
I will buy the Daredevil Epic Collection: Into The Fire! Thanks Omar!!!!!

This is the exact reason I got caught up on Duggan's iron man and it has been awesome!

I’ve never owned The Man Without Fear so I’ve definitely been waiting for this Daredevil epic, that Iron Man trade looks good too.
