For the life of me, and I’m saying this as a huge fan and someone who holds Metallica in the highest esteem, I can’t comprehend how they could come up with the intro riff to Fight Fire With Fire. It’s just so complex, beautiful and atmospheric at so many levels.
I don't know why but intro is so nostalgic. It's like resurrection! Thx for great video. I got gibson flying v recently! I have to try these with that! \m/
Watching this all the way through just made me realize how insanely big and incredible of a band MetallicA is, the amount of creativeness in their songs and variety is just insane !

The clean riff from End of the Line sounds so mysterious. Bond theme vibes.
Man, I love that riff at 21:22

The unforgiven 3 is gorgeous

The middle section of To Live Is to Die:
""If it wasn't for that riff, our band would not exist." - Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth"
Metallica by far has the best Clean and Acoustic guitar riffs of any Metal band
Opeth: am I joke to you?
I agree. I do believe that dream theater and System of a Down have some really good ones too.
@@karanXd thought that immediatly
Pantera?
Porcupine Tree and Opeth, also Ne Obliviscaris has a lot of good acoustic riffs
When that main fade to black melody comes in it always hits me hard, so beautiful
Picturing him putting it all together in a room when he was younger ❤️
The amount of nostalgia this video gives me as a guitarist is nuts. Amazing video. Keep them coming.
That's some dedication right there, playing all those riffs perfectly :D
St Anger and Load riffs/clean riffs are underrated, i mean the are underrated at everything but in drums
I think the Drums on Both are Underrated. I love the Drum sound on both. (I also find the Drums on AJFA to be Overrated.)
St. Anger's clean riffs are overlooked because everybody is all about hating St. Anger. Same for the drum beats and the chunky heavy riffs
@@TheSageCookieuwu the drum sound is just objectively awful

Underrated in drums too
Absolutely brilliant!!! A side of Hetfields playing that doesn't get enough praise

Tapes off!!!!! Welcome back dude. So good to see one of your videos again. Awesome video as always, keep up the good work 💪🏽
Sick video my friend, big fan of metallica’s clean riffs, especially fight fire with fire, fade to black and one
another gojira fan i see?
And here we are
Cool video, love the tones! The second riff in Call of Ktulu is one of the darkest acoustic riff ever!
To live is to die is the perfection of Metallica's clean riffs.
21:47 given the state of your fingertip you should’ve definitely thrown Frayed Ends in there! 🤪
Great playing, mate!
All the clean sounds it's so relaxing, because you feel the history with a perfect sounds and then makes you want to play with inspiration!!!
I'm impressed with you playing the unforgiven II without a b-bender, i normally do with slides because i can't make the bend lol

That’s ‘To live is To Die’ from And Justice For All. The mid portion I think.
One of my favorite pieces of music. Been playing it for 20 years .
That’s the interlude of To Live Is To Die.
I guessed the song by the tone of the guitar 😭
Awesome work. Imho this also shows the growth and regression of Metallica musicly. Listening the old goods was amazing. Thank you.
The Master of Puppets interlude is one of my all time favorite repetitious riffs in all of rock. It's so repetitive yet so catchy. The kind of melody that sets your mind at ease.
The clean lead-up to the duet solo (and the solo itself) on My Friend of Misery is just... I have no words. I love it.

So many intros, so many pieces of art, so many real pueces of our lives
i was really impressed by the bend you did for the unforgiven 2 riff, it's so annoying to do for me! great video!
It’s meant to be played with a B bender. Makes it 10x easier. Same for the My Friend Of Misery clean part.
