Richard sir I'm old retired guy, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you for sharing your fishing trips and tips and most of all your faith in Jesus. I'm going fishing today with my buddy because it's good for me 😂. God bless you and your family
Back in the early 90's, I use to dive for mussel shells. I can remember diving at the bend in the bluff you were fishing. The water was about 50 ft deep. A tugboat pushing a barge came around that bend with it's engines wide open trying to negotiate that curve and it sounded like the props were just feet above me. I laid on the bottom listening to that deafening noise wondering if it was my last day on earth.

This place is incredible Congratulations, *beautiful* video. Have a very successful week.👍🎣
Night fishing with rod & reel for catfish can be awfully fun and productive. Sometimes very productive and sometimes not so productive. Those were some mighty fine looking gizzard SHAD. They almost looked like a whitebass they were so big. Good video and thanks for making it.
There is something about watching someone do what they love and care about with gusto. Great videos, Richard you help scratch that itch when I can’t go fishing myself.
I thank you so much for teaching me how to catch these catfish and crappie, I'm just a young bass fisherman learning a lot about how to catch more fish from a real expert fisherman and entertainer! Keep up the good work, it's gooooood for ye!
Loved it brother...My favorite ending by far!!! Thts what it's about is having fun...I can't believe we finally get to see ELMO 🤣😁👍 We love ya Richard..Stay yourself brother!!! Awesome video as always....
Sadly place I fish has heavy brush and grass. Using a bottom rig with a no roll sinker weight my rig gets snagged in grass or brush. I found a bottom bumper rig with a 6 to 10 inch leader with 1 oz weight with 18 to 20 line with a circle hook an cigar float helps. The cigar float 3 inches from the hook with a 18 to 20 inch arm of line helps keep line up so it doesn't snag half as much. The arm helps it float out and above brush or grass. I used this even when a dropshot gets tangled in grass more than the bottom bumper rig.
Richard Gene, I too have had a hard time catching bait. I guess the rain has everything up too high for my normal spots. I have been casting and catching a bunch of twigs lately. When you can't see, you risk tearing your net. I think I am going to start minnow trapping the night before. I bought two gee's traps.
Know that you are not partial to eating catfish, but we made a stew from one we caught last week which was excellent with our Sunday dinner also served with fresh corn, cucumbers and tomatoes. Should give it a try sometime.
Love watching your videos Richard but I worry about you being out there by yourself. Been four years since this video so I'm thankful you've been safe!
Has it been going Richard Gene I've been busy but I've been watching.. I don't eat catfish but I do like catching them I give them away they are fun and I hope you have another successful trip this was a great video man
Why don't you mount a net in each of your boats then you'll always have one with you. I'd like to see you try kayak fishing for crappie. You can go where you can't take the bigger boats. Give it a try it's good for ya !!! Jake in West Virginia

Yay or nay; catfishing changes when the moon come up?
Why don't you buy 2 nets and just leave them in the boats all the time?
SERIOUSLY!! I don't get it. In fact Buy THREE then you'll never have an excuse to borrow one from the boat. Scott Martin is the same way.
