I imagine the number was even higher decades ago. I’m not say Timothy is definitely a descendant but there is a chance. So why don’t put it to rest and do the 🧬 test.
His line will die out with his grand children . Once they have all passed so will that line of Lincoln’s . None of his grandchildren have any children and they are quite elderly .

I think they should only invite direct descendants and not the descendants of a President's brother or nephew or cousin.
Some presidents don't have direct living descendants anymore. George Washington, James Buchanon, Abraham Lincoln are ones off the top of my head.
