Your Videos are so wonderful Luzi. Thank you for curating these wonderful videos. If I may ask, why did you say “sie kommt aus Deutschland” as a reply to woher kommt die marke? I thought the verb “kommt” would change conjugation to be “kommen” As in “Sie Kommen aus…..”
In German, "Sie kommt aus Deutschland" uses "kommt" because "sie" here refers to “she” or “it” (third-person singular), which is why the verb is conjugated as kommt. When you say “Woher kommt die Marke?” (Where does the brand come from?), “die Marke” is a singular noun, so we use the third-person singular form, kommt. On the other hand, “Sie kommen aus…” with kommen is used for the formal “you” (formal "Sie") or plural “they.” So, verb conjugation depends on whether “Sie” means “she,” “they,” or “you” in formal situations. :)
How many variants are there to pronounce the word “Gehen”? I was pronouncing it like (ge-) (an) like in the word “get” and the indefinite article “an” in English. Danke!
different regions different pronunciations 😉 but usually we do not the pronounce the “h”... thats correct! but as a teacher we tend to pronounce each letter for helping reasons.
Hi Luzi , your are becoming more popular here in lndia best institute JNU day by day , after watching your videos , l confidently say that you are here in lndia to improve our German . Danke!
Hi Luzi, As couples are plural we should use Sehen right? How come you are using sieht which should be used against er/es/sie. Please let me know the answer as it helps my german learning.
It’s either that, or it’s possible that snow is a word taken from English therefore it’s said like English. Like the word computer, usually in German the “ u “ is solid, yet it’s said in German just like English
Hi luzi i think did u made mistake in that frage where the man give a flower.u say der frau while other frag in a kaffee u say die frau.please explain it.nomi in Mainz
At 28 seconds, you said, "In today's video, we got to talk about ... ". "Got to", should be replaced. You should have said something like, "We have the great privilege of talking about ..., or, "we're going to elucidate ...". You're doing fine work as a teacher, but you need an English teacher to help you smooth, sculpt and shine your English. Still though, you've got the gift.
🙋♀️I have a question! With "Was sieht das Paar" why is it "Es sieht einen Film" and not "Sie sehen einen Film"? Do you refer to the pair as one thing instead of the people (pl.) in it? Vielen Dank im Voraus 🙏
In german there are also cases. And each verb has a specific one. So yes its different than English. More about cases you will find in the following videos.

With "Was sieht das Paar?" why is it "es" and not "sie"? 🥺
I love your videos btw, they're so clear and structured. It makes it really easy to follow along! Vielen Dank! 🙏❤️
Because it's "das Paar" - the couple, so "es" - it/the couple; hope this is clear.
You could also answer with "Sie sehen einen Film." because a couple are two people. I think they wanted to keep the "sieht" of the question.
I am from India and I find your Videos easy to understand. Danke

If I may ask, why did you say “sie kommt aus Deutschland” as a reply to woher kommt die marke?
I thought the verb “kommt” would change conjugation to be “kommen” As in “Sie Kommen aus…..”
die Marke (feminin singular)

Yes you're 😅
The z is pronounced differently in germain so u r right
It’s either that, or it’s possible that snow is a word taken from English therefore it’s said like English. Like the word computer, usually in German the “ u “ is solid, yet it’s said in German just like English

Sir dative means
He looks so much like Rami Mahlik
At 6:23 I have been taught that " Der " is Masculine and " Die" Is Feminine
How come it's " Der Frau" and Not Die Frau.
I also notice
cuz verb geben use it dative and articel of die in dative became der in femenine and Dem in maskuline
Ja, ich habe ein alter bruder und eine alter schwester.
Prima ...danke sehr 🌷

Is the form sind pronounced "zynd" or "synd"? You say it differently at times. The same happens to the "s" in the words sagen and sehen.
Both is correct… depends on the region.
Zynd is more common though 👍
