Great Job ! I had to reference a couple of your vids a few times to make sure I was on track because you show every step and most never do and skip to much. Great detail keep up the content your channel has to grow
Thank you very much for your comment, greatly appreciated! keeps me motivated to make more videos
Do you have a part # list for everything you got? Going to be doing this soon. Awesome video
Yes I do have the list here
power steering pump- BBB Industries N95001118
pump pulley- Cardone 3P37161
power steering lines- Edelmann 80686E - 80361 - 80679 - 80702
power steering cooler- Dorman 918314
All parts are off of rockauto.com
Awesome videos! Thanks for making these...I'm doing the same repairs right now.
Did you ever find a replacement for that curvy return hose that comes off the booster?
Thanks for your comment! For that return hose I had a piece of rubber hose that was the same size so I just used that with some hose clamps
What pump did u order? And do you know what the shaft size was? Cause I have to do the same job and they don’t mention the shaft size of the pump so if u can get me the part numbers u b doing me a huge favour
Good videos man keep it up
The pump I ordered was from rock auto and is made by BBB Industries. The part number is N950-01118. It’s off a 6.7 Cummins. I’m not too sure on shaft size tho.
I’m also curious about the shaft size
You’re always curious about shaft size
Did the line going to the pump screw right into it or did you need an adapter?
It threaded right in, didn’t need any adapters
What fluid did you end up using? ATF +4 ?
I used power steering fluid, I believe it was just a generic power steering fluid from the parts store. ATF +4 works also
@@boosthuntergarage Thanks! How much did you end up putting in? Im replacing my entire system like you did this weekend on my '06 and wondering how much to pick up at the parts store.
@@bobbyboykin7137 It’s been awhile since I did it but I believe 2 quarts should be more then enough
