Turn of reduce white points
So bad
Your video helped me find the settings I needed. My “reduce white point” was on and was seriously affecting my screen brightness. I was able to turn that off and now I can see again!😁
this .. this seriously helped .. thank you
This was great. I also had reduce Whitepoint at 75% wow what a difference
THANK YOU😭
Underrated comment. Should be pinned 😭
Thank you so much I’m legally blind from my right eye and I could never get my screen to looks crisp and bright even with an upgraded iPhone 14, wow makes all the difference. Thank you for sharing
I found my Max XS was way too dark outside, not even in sunlight, just outside. WAAAY darker than previous iPhones. Turned off auto brightness, but also had to turn off "reduce white point". Absolutely colossal change!!!!
Imma try dat now I’m on Xs max

Thanks for this! I kept thinking Apple dimmed the light on all newer versions or something 😂
Thank you !!!

Thank you! This helped and also located the “reduce white point” function, which was messing with my display.

Thank you so much OMGG !!
Thank you so much
One tip to make it darker than that for movie theaters and at night it to enable triple click on the side button for reduced white point. It will get much darker than the lowest brightness setting.
how?
@@a4e.6k settings>accessibility>accessibility shortcut (at the bottom)> reduce white point... you may want to go to reduce white point first (which is in accessibility > Display and text size) turn it on and then set it to the intensity you want. Because the triple click just turns it on or off.
@@michaelstehlik4002 appreciate it bro
@@michaelstehlik4002 what a life saver, helped me more than the actual video thank you
Great Michael!!!
Saved the day!!
Thank you very much for you.
I did that and still not bright enough. My screen is really dark when I’m outside in the sun and have brightness all the way up
Get a samsung lol
@@Cristian_Rangel1621 No one is gonna buy a new phone for brightness
Off your reduce white point
@@Cristian_Rangel1621 I did and it’s the same thing. I went back to iPhone

Thank you so much 😊😍 all the way from Nepal 🇳🇵
I thought my Iphone display was defect as under the sun the max brightness was not enough. I could not read the screen well. It solved my problem. Thanks a lot!!!
THANK YOU
Thank you .Problem solved 🎉❤
Thank you so much for this video 🙏🙏💋
Thank you it’s help me 👍
thank you for this video fixed my problem with my iphone 12 being a bit dim🙌
Try turning on “reduce white point” you will see magic when you lower down brightness
Thanks 🙏🏾👍🏾
iPhone 12+ Pro user here and my phone would automatically stay at 80% this helped me out so much thank you!
Thank you.
Thank U 🙏
You’re a professional person!
Thank you for the solution and it did not solve my issue. Even with auto brightness turned off, at random times my phone dims to about 50% yet the slider is still at 100%. If I Slide the slider all the way down I can get it to dim more but upon sliding the slider up it starts getting bright at about 50%. And it randomly turns the brightness back up by itself and then the slider works past 50% again.
This is the exact thing that is happening to me!
@@kiwilemos7744 Did you figure out how to fix it? Get help anywhere?
@@qfingers10 it dims to cool down your phone because it gets too hot at full brightness
@@lydi5076 This is happening at any brightness. Put the back of the phone does get hot when it happens. Is my phone supposed to get that hot constantly? I mean… It turns so dark I can’t even see my GPS!
No fix found guys?
Omg this helps a lot it kept adjusting it self and I was wondering wtf was happening
With iPhone 11 - I turned off ‘reduce white point’ under auto brightness- helped a lot
Thank you
❤️Thanks
OMG THANK YOUUUU
Thank you now I can get for bed and Mark and find the markers
thanks you😊
Thanks I will subscribe it mean a lot
thank you
Good job, but after you pull the display reading with Auto Brightness, you move your hand too fast to the other screens where you actually adjust the brightness. I had to pause it a couple times to see what you were doing. I'm a new iphone user. Thanks
For darker just do the “reduce white light” then adjust to your liking then turn it back off when you are done
Thanks
Just to be clear, I shouldn’t leave the brightness full on for a long time while I have auto brightness turned off, because it can affect the battery life and long term display only if the auto brightness is turned off?? because you said “don’t leave it on full brightness for a long time while you have auto brightness turned on” plus it says in settings “if you turn auto brightness off, it may affect battery life and long term display.”
Thanks 😊
Thank you 😘 I thought my phone was defected because it was getting too hot
Your video help me find auto but then I don’t know how to do it myself
Very good 🙏
thanks, I accidently scrolled it down when swiping lol
Thanks for the tips. This is mum's iPhone, I have to learn so I can teach her. Personally I cannot stand the philosophy of Apple, why would they force auto-brightness at the first place?
Was helpful.even iphone couldn’t help me to do it.they said they don’t know how to do it😂😂
thankyou so much !! i almost think my iphone is fake😂
Is it safe? Does it degrade OLED panel faster ?
Just watch the whole video, I thought it was going to explain how to literally make the screen brighter than apple programmed not auto but still informative 👍
I have a privacy screen protector on my iPhone, I have to have my brightness all the way up or I literally can’t see anything, will having my brightness up all the way still affect my display?
It's possible but pretty unlikely. Realistically I'd be more worried about it wearing down your battery life sooner.
How do I bring that button up
I usually use the dark mode as well
not enough for me at night time😕
I love dark mode all day an night!
i knew something was UP !!
That’s crazy bright I had to put it back I don’t want to damage my phone or drain my battery faster
Your title is misleading: I came to see how to get higher brightness than max. This is saying how to keep it at max.
when i put my iphone x to 0-20% is whiter nor dark screen...and i don t have any zoom, white point or anythinv on, why ?? and if is 20%-100% is normal ...
