abit late, but something to add for the alien rider. so far its the only one that there are aftermarket mounts for it. like if you want to mount to a ram mount ball or the triple clamp nut for sport bikes there are mounts to allow that kind of mounting
actually i wan to add on 1 thing about using the waze while using the chiggee, if you still keep the phone on the dash and connect the chiggee to waze it willl show turn-by-turn details
i buy the cheap OEM with all the accessories tpm gps both cam. Now im connect it with car play Ai box Qualcomm 6225, my unit become full fledge android unit without need phone. no additional wiring just usb type c cable. now my motocycle have Agama launcher and can play all android app without phone.
How's the video like comparing the chigee vs alien pro? Yt may beve compressed the footages so can't really tell. Is the quality difference just marginal or quite noticeable?
Great video! Was actually waiting for someone to do this comparison. I myself am using an AIO (all in one) system and I had two annoying complaints. Not sure if the users of Chigee/Alien rider/GreenYi do experience this. 1. It records automatically when the bike is turned on, but stops recording once memory card is full. it does not loop even when loop function is on. So I’d have to reformat the memory card every now and then to have it recorded. 2. I’m using the id221 a2 pro comms, whenever I’m on the go, there would be times where the music gets disconnected but it shows that it’s still playing on the AIO system. Have to tap on the comms set to have the music back on. Gets quite annoying as it does this every single time. Other than the two issues, I felt that it’s a pretty good investment for a motorcycle.
id221 sucks bro frfr, owned a cheaper camera installed their fleet. Had looping issues too, set looping time to 3-5 mins but it loops every 30 seconds. edit: plus the looping was inconsistent by looping at random from 9 secs to 30 secs
The wiring of this infotainment system runs thru the wiring of the bike. This would need the panels to be removed. If a passerby takes the screen, it would render the device useless. Even if someone were to dismantle it, they would need to open up the body panels and it would take a lot of time. So far, I have no issues parking the bike in various malls, and commercial lots in Malaysia.
Hi guys, do you know if this infotainment system is pnp with other bikes? Like if I want to sell this bike and bring over the unit, any issue? Isit v leceh?
I lie somewhere between got money and dk how to install motorcycle electronics. Got the navigator+dashcam+TPMS by white bulb cree specialist on carousell at $450. feel like the radar is Abit of a gimmick - most of the time I just leave my rear dashcam on then can assist with Blindspot
@@bytemegga thank you so much for responding 🙏 might just settle for the $450 although he recently announced a few edition with different/higher specs - quad core + 4gb ram might be overkill for $490

I don't face those problems with my greenyi. I doubt the other 2 do too. Maybe need to check the settings?
Hi, have to check your setting... never happen before with my AIO-5

How secure are these devices? Can any passerby just grab and take away while bike is parked and unattended?

The wirings would need to be removed. Not really plug and play, but transferable

How’s the 450$ video footage? UI laggy?
@@YourFault footage good enough to see licence plates in various light conditions. haven't experienced lag
