Finally someone who doesn’t keep more than one palette that has similar colors!! It drives me insane when people declutter palettes and 90% of the ones they keep all have the same colors!

Just letting you know naked products by LUSH don’t expire because they have no water in them which causes the devlopment of bacterial grossness. Also you can use the makeup past the date, its mainly a freshest by and can still be used way past the date. -LUSH Employee

4booky why do people find ruthless decluttering so satisfying? I stopped watching Jessica Braun after she decluttered all but ten
eyeshadow palettes. She was tossing $100 dollars worth of makeup in piles, and was condescending about it too. As someone who works hard for their make-up, I don't appreciate seeing UA-camrs who get thousands of dollars worth of make-up in PR throw them around. It's fine if something doesn't work out and you want to declutter it, but why do people like seeing so many products thrown around like that?
@@Lulusvideos1 well to me, it's not about the throwing around of products. At times I buy things, don't use it but keep it anyway just because. She's very logical when it comes to choosing what she does and doesn't want to keep. I know that for people like me who don't have the privilege of having hundreds of dollars of makeup, we would never think of it throwing expensive products away, but she has that privilege, so what's the point of hoarding a bunch of palettes she isn't touching when someone else can fully enjoy it.
She isn't hoarding and is very aware of the fact that sometimes she keeps things for the sole purpose of having it, so she actively changes that. She's realistic and tries to not have a materialistic mindset with her makeup. No judgements to others who are, I'm just explaining why I like her declutters over others. I want to be less materialistic in that aspect so I enjoy her reasoning and mindset for keeping or getting rid of certain products.
@@Lulusvideos1 I mean she does donate or gives it away. She only throw away expired make up. I think it's better if people don't use the make up, they give it away instead of just hoarding it just because of the packaging or it looks cute.

Did the same thing a couple weeks ago so had to buy new eyeshadow and blush. I got rid of everything past it’s expiration date as I felt it was irritating my eyes and skin.

I know this is old, but there's an easy fix for the really nice palette with your name on it. If you, or someone you know own's a Silhouette, just make a vinyl. Then you can add your name to one you use all the time and it'll make it even more special. You can always buy custom vinyls off Etsy too. I actually have a Silhouette and never thought about doing this but I think I'm going to have to now. :D
