In my opinion, the best live recording of the song Again by Archive.
As it is often the case with long Archive songs, it grows slowly for the first minutes before bursting into an emotional climax.
I think nobody performs this songs better than Dave Penney, he really sings it from his heart.

This track is one of the best constructed songs in the world. Because what we don't have. First of all, we have a singer who wants to talk about his pain. Then we have keyboards that are rushing to their rhythm, completely ignoring the vocalist, there is also a bass section and drums that try to calm the situation down, to even it out. The ending clearly hits this tone as the chosing music conveys what a broken man has in his head when he can't gather his thoughts. Everyone plays a different rhythm and pace and the individual who is unable to cope with this chaos suffers. If anyone has experienced the loss, be it a loved one or someone who has betrayed them, they will understand very well what I have to say about this perfect musical chaos

This song was my anthem back in 2002.. Good times. A friend introduced me to their music and I was hooked. Not a lot of people knew the band here in Belgium at the time. The entire album is a masterpiece. Amazing live performance btw

What a performance.
There's something magnetic about it, the perfect mix of emotions and chaos both in the voice of Dave, who delivers a strong and almost haunting execution, and in the absolutely perfect unbalance the rest of the band was able to portray with their playing.

It's been a long time since you wrote your comment, but I'd like to wholeheartedly disagree with you (on point number 3 anyway).
I think it's the PERFECT song to share because, as I've found out myself, it indicates those who really do appreciate beautiful music & are willing to try 'something different', compared to what they usually listen to. I find those type of people, the best one's to discuss music with.
