FUNFACT 1 : Aluminum when left in open forms a layer of aluminum oxide over it. Aluminum oxide is a very good insulator in general. When you tighten these toothed washers, it removes an oxide layer and makes better contact with aluminum frame of module thereby showing proper continuity in multimeter. But if you check for continuity after few days, continuity is gone again because of new oxide layer formed over the aluminum module.
FUNFACT 2 : Aluminum oxide has a very peculiar property. Like I said it’s a very good insulator in general, but when you apply enough voltage across aluminum oxide layer (≥1000V to be precise) it becomes conducive and you will also get continuity in multimeter 😂
Lightning strike is 300 million volts which is much more than 1000V Therefore in theory, as long as panels are connected with or without toothed washers to the structure which is properly grounded, you should be good. It may not show continuity, but the moment there is enough potential difference, continuity will be restored
But remember, Lightening strike is dangerous natural phenomenon. Even if ur module is properly grounded, there is NO guarantee that your panel will survive a lightening strike. The large dose of current may be discharged into the ground, but lightening strike also produces lot of heat which simply destroys modules as soon as it gets into its contact.
Ur information is very useful for all consumer.
Hameshaa ki tarah informative video sir ❤❤❤❤
Yes. 👍🏻😊
Excellent
Very informative video 🙏

But it’s always good to have protection !!!
@@jitumishra3202wow, that was a really good explanation !!! 🫡🫡🫡
Thank you so much bro ❤
Kya koi aisa system bn skta h jisme agr ongrid solar panel m grid se light nhi aarhi h fir bhi hum solar se apne appliance chla ske ?
Sir, zero export meter reading ka jo IMP kWH ka jo reading hai. wo night me 5 guna jada aa raha hai as compare to day reading se! Why?
Sir aap mohan garden m rehte ho
Han Ji

Sir Aisa hai solar module me special slot bana hota hai earthing ke liye.to isliye zaroori nahi hai teeth washer lagana.
Please check your panel to panel continuity
@@solarfacts4242 sir already checked and found ok.
