Love your explanation of why you shoot film. I have recently purchased the 301, the manual version of the 501. These cameras have metal chassis but are covered in plastic except for metal battery cover.
Frostbitebampiru No one is asking to see your private photos, just stuff like landscapes or street photography for example. It just makes sense if someone shows or talks about a camera on UA-cam, people would like to see some photos from that camera.
Well, that is simple with a digital camera but with a film one, you have to scan the film/photos and I don't have the means to do that. Plus, the look of film shots depends on the lens and film type, not the camera. That is the biggest difference compared to digital, probably.
I shoot the Nixon D2000 (F-301) too and love it! Especially shooting B&W. I get a CD of my photos at the same time I get my prints, that makes sharing them digitally almost as simple as taking pictures with a phone. People interested in seeing sample shots can search for the hash tag #N2000 or #F301 on Instagram or Flickr or other photo sharing website. I highly recommend shooting film. It puts the excitement back into taking pictures & the anticipation of waiting to see them and hold them and putting them up! Happy Shooting!
I 100% agree with you. with our SLR we have to be intentional. Unlike in a DSLR no need to take it seriously while taking pictures!

Martin Bušek can't access the link but if it is a 50mm f/1.8D, then yes
Frostbitebampiru what about G lens? Will Aperture priority work? Or P-Mode only?
