    I just bought this camera for $70 on ebay, came with a nikon 50mm prime lens, 135mm vivitar lens, 28-85mm sigma lens, a large bag and a few other doodads. So far it works fine and is in mint condition👍🏼

    I bought one in c.1990 ... on getting it home, I realized how much I hated the cheap-look and the over-complicated controls. Fortunately the dealer agreed to take it back, and give me the FM2 instead. Never looked back: FM2 still working like a dream!

    makes actually a lot of fun to take photos with the "J"-focusing screen! (for manual focusing lenses) and works just normal with the AF as well :) if you get one of these screens, buy it! I really like this camera and its hybrid design. It really feels like great quality. The only negativ thing about this camera is the rubber/leather problem. BTW I'm using 4x AAA(800mAh-rechargeable batteries) in it. They last veeery long.... I would recommend this camera!

    Posiadam Nikon AF 501 w wersji amerykańskiej oznaczonej Nikon N2020 AF z obiektywem AF Nikkor 35-105mm 1:3.5-4.5 z tylną ścianką z datownikiem Nikon MF-19 i z lampą błyskową Nikon Speedlight SB-20. Całość- komplet w doskonałym stanie. To doskonały, niezawodny sprzęt.

    Nice overview! Many people don’t like the appearance of the F301 and F501, but I kind of love it. I bought a very nice F301 (I don’t necessarily want or need auto focus on my film camera’s) for little money.

    My frame counter is stuck inbetween 18 and 16(so 17?) even when I put film in the camera and advance it. How do I solve this issue?

    Hi, my camera seems to work good without battery... can that be? Which exposure mode do you recommend? P dual/ a or 125?

    How much is the value of the camera right now

    • @Samsung9alaxy
      @Samsung9alaxy  4 роки тому +1

      It really depends on the condition and how much you want to pay.

    Hi. I`m a Nikon User from Austria. Maybe you can help me. I have bought a Nikon f-501 on ebay and I am not sure if the camera works. When i press the shutter release button (in position S) nothing happens. Only the red LED is blinking. Has it something to do with the battery? Thank you very much

    • @Samsung9alaxy
      @Samsung9alaxy  7 років тому +2

      Klaus Zitek If you don't have a film in the camera, ensure the ISO setting (around the rewind crank) is NOT on DX!

    • @klausemann1
      @klausemann1 7 років тому +1

      Samsung9alaxy thanx! but there is a film. lady grey black and white iso 400.. it should work on DX, shouldnt it?

    • @klausemann1
      @klausemann1 7 років тому +1

      Samsung9alaxy ok! if i set the ISO manually it seems to work :) thank you!

    • @Samsung9alaxy
      @Samsung9alaxy  7 років тому +2

      Klaus Zitek It's a safety measure to try and ensure you have film loaded before wasting your time taking photos!

    • @Samsung9alaxy
      @Samsung9alaxy  7 років тому +1

      Klaus Zitek DX films have a black & white strip on the cassette (like a bar code). If it doesn't have that you have to set the ISO manually.
