- Опубліковано 27 сер 2024
- In this one, we take advantage of our small window before the snow returned to go out and do some rockhounding on the river! We found a very nice assortment of rocks! Nice jaspers, extremely nice agatized wood, some Montana agates and a surprising amount of baculite fossils! It was definitely a good day to be out! Ad the weather has improved once again, so we will be back at it shortly! I hope you all enjoy this one, and I will have another one out soon!

Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: The difference between regular people and hard core rockhounds...3 hours before the snow storm...regular people run to the store for milk, bread, and fuel! Hard core rockhounds run to hunt rocks before the snow starts!!! Here's to the hard core rockhounds of planet Earth!!! SALUTE!
It's great to see two of my favorite stoners in the same video at the same location AND at the same time. ROCK ON! Great finds!
Sorry you were sick.
As always the petrified wood is my favorite
I'm glad you're feeling better Theo. No worries about missing a video. You need to take care of yourself, so you can find more beautiful rocks like these. I love them all, but I'm partial to the petrified wood. Nice to see you had a window of good weather between storms. It's been crazy weather everywhere lately.
Just got to the part where you tell that I did miss a video so very sorry to hear you were poorly 😢
I’d like to see those fossils polished. And the wood.
We are glad your all better!! Woof to the puppies and hi to your better half that I'm sure nursed you back to health. The rocks were amazing. You and Kim seem to know where to find the good ones before the storms hit. My favorite was the multicolored petrified wood. Yikes that was one of the most colorful pieces I have ever seen. Keep having fun but, remember to breathe. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
Nice to see your both and a LOT of goodis you was finding too, so a nice day out in the nature with a lot of beutiful rocks. Thank`s
Some amazing treasures were found this time around.
I'm looking forward to the cutting videos, especially that colorful petrified wood! It's going to be beautiful! 😊
Thanks for sharing and lovely to see THE mom there too with both doggies 😊 Did I miss a video last week? Anyway good to see you out on the river. Fingers crossed the snow won't be too bad. Wishing you and both your families a lovely Easter ❤❤
Awesome finds! Looks like you're not the only that likes that area!
Hey Theo, you are better, no worries! That agatized wood... a-mazing! Take care man.
Very beautiful crystal 👍
Nice to see you out hunting again.
Glad you are feeling better Theo! Looking forward to seeing the slabs from those wonderful finds.🎉
I sometimes hear you talk about putting stuff in the tumbler would it be possible to show us some of the rocks out of the tumbler please??
Wow! Those are a few really cool finds. That jasper was so colorful and beautiful with it's stripes! That absolutely was my favorite! And those baculites were awesome! So many fossils and really nice ones too! I can't wait to see you prep those! And of course the agatized pet woods are always gorgeous! So many good finds! Thank you Theo, for the wonderful video. I'm so glad you are feeling better now. There was chatter amongst the discordians that you had not posted and where were you. So just know that your lack of presence was noticed.we missed you! And I'm glad you're feeling better.
Glad you feel better, can't wait to see the cutting video. I get you for this weird spring, just got through an ice storm, was'nt funny.
Wow! Great finds.
Thank you ☺️
The vibe is interesting. Everything is going to be just fine don’t let other people get in your head. Relationships with other humans is a funny thing in this internet age and with family.
Glad you’re feeling better, I was also down last week, I’m glad I didn’t miss one but so sorry you were also sick😢❤
Wonderful hunt Theo!
Looks like a great start for the season. Our rivers are running high, hopefully it will be ready for hounding in a month or so ..
70 CMON SPRING !!
Pls go to Lake Superior in Minnesota
‘Glad you are better. Thanks for getting out there. Watching you guys pick up rocks is my favorite thing. I think ( hope) this is the last big snow. Fingers crossed.
Beautiful finds Theo! Love the fossils! Glad you are on the mend, we can’t wait for milder weather too!
I'm so glad that you are feeling better Theo! Good to see you out there again! Not too surprising that you would encounter MRM. You both want to take advantage of the finally coming spring. I'm sure that I will be seeing hr encounter you in her next video, haha! Wonderful finds as always, and I always love seeing the pup having a great time too! That death plate, wowza!!!!!!!
hey dude glad to see you back in action. I notice, overcast is a good thing, seems like you get better photos/video of details - close ups of almost everything had less glare and shadows were not so harsh. might be different camera ? FYI: hold or place a "medium-darkish" blue piece of construction paper behind rock or flower or whatever you are taking pictures of trying to get a "great focus" on. I used the method to take eBay pics of Abalone shells and catching the pattern details + colors + gloss without too much glare and in crisp focus. try a couple of shades of blue to find out what you 🤔 think .it really works
This past weekend I tried to do what you do, but along the Red Deer River, and only saw rocks… Dark rocks. Light rocks. Smooth rocks. It was very sad.
Rock challenge now this… busy boy you are Theo. Montana Rock Mom was a surprise. Why would rain bother you? You wet the rocks with the sprayer. Does it make it harder to spot agates on a wet gravel bar?
It’s easier when wet
I know you will say no.. but would you ever consider going on a quest for someone to get a perty pet wood Montana agate and a jasper for someone that is most certainly never going to be able to come that far to find them for herself? I'm willing to pay your time and energy as well as shipping... 😂
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: me too! I can't go myself but love to buy rocks from my trusted rockhound friends!
Heh Theo
You always find some treasures rockhounding
Hopefully it’ll be warming up n you can get out on the islands more
Where did you get your spray bottle from?
Ty
Have you ever found any opalized agatized petrified wood?
Hey Theo, just wondering when your Etsy store will open again?
Death plate! Cool term
How is the snow?
Would you consider letting me email you some pictures of a few things ive found that I cant identify?? None of my friends are into rocks like me and google only gets me so far with identification.
Did you do something different with your hair??
