The problem with Fairy Lancelot’s release is that she has to be released before July because of the GSSR rotation/usual na shenanigans because of the JP Na app release date differeces

Nah. Just like when they raised the SSR rate by 0.01 during 4th anniversary, we will get the pity during the 6th anniversary (otherwise we would have gotten that summon history now just like what they said during the streaming)

I took a 2 year break from FGO, and now equipped with some tools to help farming, I can safely say I am here to farm for Saber Tomoe to np5 on her rerun, Castoria or Morgan depending on how good the summer banner treats me, then finally Beni in December since I wanted her but my FGO hiatus began when she released.
Thats a pretty long break. I usually only take like 1-3 months breaks if I ever get a burnout. I cant miss those free gems after all.
My main targets for 2023 are:
1. Melusine (I already decided to get her the moment I watched her released in the livestream back then)
2. Light Koyan (I don't have buster support so, yeah)
3. S.Ishtar or Taira(I don't know which one to choose)
Honestly next year is probably the most stacked year in FGO history and I hope that everyone's main targets will come home to them including mine.
As someone who would pass on Muramasa for a third copy of Spishstar, I say she helped me a lot in farming challenge quest. Always compatible with all 3 color support.

3. Molay (love her design and np animation) + zenobia
I'm hoping for Old Men shiro, and space Ishtar. After that I would just like to scoop up one more copy of caster Arthur if I can. What are you guys planning to pick for your free targetable ssr?

This year in FGO, no one is safe and I am no exception. Personally I'm aiming for NP2 Sei, Barghest, NP5 Zerker Sei and a copy of Lancer Ryouma. Regardless of who you're rolling for, good luck on your summons, you all are gonna need it!
I know shes not high-meta or whatever, but im excited for Van Gogh and I hope I can get her.

she's actually surprisingly great, only reason that she's not considered meta is cause looping is meta
but van gogh teams can make all 15 cards do insanely high damage, so they can certainly shine even without lop shennigans
2023 banners are so stacked. It's getting harder to decide who to pull and who to save.
For new players or ones who still aren't fully built by then.
The banners I recommend most would be castoria for obvious reasons and pair her with space Ishtar or skama depending on your quarts or preference for arts comps as they can basically handle most if not all aoe content and cq.
Buster Morgan and then vitch. Oberon could be skipped unless you really want him in that case skip vitch and go for him first as she get a rerun next next year but Morgan banner gives so much benefits
Quick ashiya or carren this and next year with skadi if you still gold out for them with okitan summer.
Kalied illya best st caster if you lack one.
Am personally skipping morgan on the first rate up and ensuring l get vitch, then l will get her on return. I see no reason to get a buster looper if l cant make her work. problem is buster requires Oberon too and am a waifu collector. Welp it will be the waver scenario where l grab a copy just for gameplay. (though l do regret waver since its been months since l have used him) basically once l got castoria he is useless unless if chengong.
@@alispeed5095 not sure what you mean by this comment. Oberon is only required for buster units with 30 charge like Arjuna alter plus vitch making buster expensive that way. Just said if someone wants to go full buster that he would be best to go for first as he hasn't gotten a rerun banner yet while Morgan and vitch got a few.
Plus if you want. Cu caster is on the first Morgan banner and can help buster farm anything as he gets 100 charge after lb 6 making him the best farmer for cheap and able to black Grail. Vitch I still think would be better for you to wait until next year so if you use over 1k quarts you won't miss out to save some quarts in case

From the vids l see of people looping, they all bring in Oberon on turn 3 so l thought he was part of buster looping package :(

@@alispeed5095 just depends on the unit by then. A Morgan np 2 can do the work for almost everything so it's not much of an issue. Oberon would be bonus damage not really needed directly for 50 charge aoe units.
Oberon is more for over damage to make sure high health waves are beat but if your main DPS is already strong you can use normal double vitch to farm.
So yeah you can skip Oberon if vitch and Morgan are your main targets as he's more of bonus help than the main one in the buster system
@@ivanbluecool Sad to say but man you're wrong on so many levels.
Oberon's NP boost on S3 work on EVERY type of NP, though its build-in Buster buff made it looks like an Buster-exclusive when it actually isn't; and if you time it right he's actually a partywide 20NP charge plus 50NP charge on a single one. In the recent Neo Yamataikoku event Oberon is almost necessary to reliably farm on the 90++ node, and it's without mentioning his huge utility for over a year already. He's basically as important as Castoria even discounting the Buster meta.
And while Morgan is surely powerful she's not a solve-everything, especially when her foes aren't human type.
Knowing the NP levels i want for all the servants coming next year, I'm 100% sure that I'll pass from being a f2p to a freaking whale XD

@@marupurusaivamsi4802 not enough quartz to get like np3 morgan and like np3 muramasa for 120 I assume. the new grail cap really promotes rolling for multiple np levels of your favorites.
Since i got an E in luck it is 1000 sq to get the 1np in an ssr i will just hope thereare good sr.
I'm going for Muramasa, Morgan, Koyanskaya of Light and Avenger Ushi, hoping to get some of the Fairy Knights, especially Gawain, too.

My failure to acquire Castoria this year stings so I'm glad there will be another chance. For me it's:
1. Murumasa (who I'm not ready for)
2. Castoria because Arts
3. Koyanskaya (because I need a good Buster support)
Anything else is just a plus

Somewhere in the video you mention something about "rare servant". I would love to see a video naming servants like Kijyo Koyo that were featured only once or twice on JP banners, just to know who will disappear for a long time if we don't wish for them.
I started playing this game again for Oberon, that's all that really matters to me. That being said I'll try my luck at S.Ishtar and Castoria as well.
I'm actually not planning on rolling for many of the banners early in the year, so as long as the luck doesn't kill me too bad, I should be fine. NP1 is always okay.
Thanks for the list! My targets next year are Holmes (3 copies) and Oberon, after that maybe summer Kama but honestly knowing my luck I could end up whiffing and having to save for his Traum banner instead orz

After that, and would be nice:
Space Ishtar(not likely since right after Muramasa soon) and Koyanskaya(light; who will be back the year after so pog round 2!)
Personally, I feel like the biggest change we'll see to the NA schedule is going to be the release of LB6; NA gets its anniversary in early July, and since the 6th Anni's GSSR include Morgan and Melusine but _not_ Oberon (as he was just barely post-anniversary), I imagine they're going to want to bump up the release of LB6 to match.
If this is true, I think we can also expect them to push at least one event back to compensate. This past year, the Ooku ReRun got pushed back from just before 5th Anni to a month after it, just after Summer 5. With that in mind, I could see a "safe" event (one that has no new servant releases) like the Summer 5 ReRun or Grand Nerofest getting the delay in 2023.
If I had to guess, I think Grand Nerofest is going to be the event that gets delayed, as it happens to be about two weeks long, just like Ooku was, but since I don't have Clairvoyance, do take that estimate with a grain of salt.
Both Koyanskayas and Sussy Mothman. If I'm lucky then Taira as well. Mostly gonna save for NP5 Arc

If i can get at least these 3 next year, I will be happy even if i fail with other targets. I hope it goes well.
Oberon is a must, and he's becoming more and more valuable. He has ONE rate up, so if you miss him, you're going to be in GSSR hell.
With level 90++ nodes, his np damage booster is invaluable in both buster AND arts teams alike.
So yeah, Castoria Vitch and Skadi are the BIG prizes next year, but don't forget Mothman, he has only one banner as of now. Of course Road to 7 is close, so he still might have a rate up in October of 2024 depending on how it goes.
Also if you know what's up, try to go for Miss Crane, she has a rate up next year and 2024, also a big chance to get her in 6th anniversary GSSR.

Oberon is good, yes. He's pretty far from must tough. A good buster farmer could do with any 50% charger. The same could also be said for art

My Top 4 saving goals are Koyanskaya (Light), Oberon, Melusine, and Summer Kama
Koyanskaya is my biggest target so I'm going to be actually skipping Melusine's first banner since it is before 6th Anniversary and trying for her during Tunguska (also NP2 Kama would be the dream)
I have about 120 SQ and 20 tickets right now, time to buckle down and save till July to hopefully get everyone I want.

1. Saberstolfo, the most valuable saber of course! (Plus, his bond level 3 dialogue acknowledges my love for him, so that's a win to me)

3. Jeanne D'arc. This one is tricky, technically i am behind her Archer form, but since her banner is a payed one and i'm a F2P player, I'll at least be satisfied to have her ruler form.
I told myself I'd save 1k SQ to Castoria, thinking to myself
"Well, I'll probably get her before spending half of that, so it will be plenty for the other banners"

Got 5 targets that are want for me, so it’s a win banner in my case.
I've only been saving for one Servant after I started and got Castoria. I am going for NP 5 Barghest, so hopefully I can get at least one Morgan when pulling. Though Barghest is all I want to get. Maybe I'll be blessed by The First Hassan. If not, oh well not much one can do there. Thanks for the list.
Thanks for releasing this, I always forget around this time that the year is ending and that I should be watching my quartz and planning for any post-New Years banners.
I have to keep my sights focused on Muramasa and Barghest, but there are so many other servants this year that I want as well to the point I know I'll get side tracked.
My top three are voyager, Oberon, and Vitch, although I might skip vitch
I'll go for extra white, I would be pretty happy with the great majority, and honestly is the banner that has less of a chance of me losing
I really don't know who I'm pulling for. I've spent this year getting back into the game, saving up for people variously, occasionally getting baited into rolling, and then doing the classic me move--falling in love with someone as soon as their banner hits so that I have to roll for them. I still have two snake girls and Mothman to look forward to this year, and I am really not sure how my Quartz are going to be looking next year.
That said, my two biggest confirmed targets are four stars--Barghest, and Caenis who I missed this year. I might roll for Vitch as well... I never really hunted Merlin, but I got him and Himiko by the strands of luck this year, and it's helped me realize just how many servants I have who are both my favorites and Buster damage dealers, so I guess I'll have to just wait and see.
I pray for us all to have good luck coming year.
My plan next year is to spend quite a few on Spishtar and then Vitch. If lucky and get a few SQ left, go for Oberon/Morgan. Then prolly save up for Vitch dark and Kriem banner.
NP5 Summer Kama is my ultimate and most wanted thing next year. Please, rng gods, be cooperative with mee

I dropped the game some years ago, but as an Ushi simp, I'll probably join again to have the (un)holy trinity finaly in my team. If I didn't deleted my transfer code, that's it.

I'll go for tamamo vitch mostly for being an SSR assassin aoe (for collection purposes), but she will also complete my support team, along Skadi and Casturia, which is a very nice bonus.
Skadi is the one I need. I got waver, Merlin, casturia, and that one nerdy assassin girl that wears the pink. Can't remember her name right now.

1. Ryouma (Lancer) - My most liked servant I have been looking forward too
2. Fairy Knight Lancelot - Looks cool so will try my best to get

For me is a pretty straightforward year:
1. NP5 Fujino (currently NP1)
2. Oberon (1 copy is enough)
3. Van Gogh
Koyanskaya is on next year's final banner, so I will roll for her there.
For me it is
Old man Shiro (only np 1 because don't want to push my luck as a f2p)
Space Ishtar (at leat np 1)
Casturia np 3 (currently at np 1)
From the GSSR events I'm hoping I can pick up Romulus, super Orion, or that buster crit support ruler that came out of the guda-guda event.
The free SSR is hard for me though...
It's a for way tos up between Arthur, Morgan, tomomo, or the ilea that rids the bar. (I just need a reliable number of her class.)

Enkidu, Waver, Ozymandias and Cù Alter are just way better than the rest. Unless you don't like any of them (but bruh...why don't you like Clay lol), or have them at high NPs already, there isn't a lot to think about.
@@A_d_e_k well i have ozymandias at np 2 all rady, and no need for any lancers. so thats tow out. as fare as CU is consernd i honistly dont like basurkers. to fragel. i end up spending to mutch time just trying to keep them alive. waver is great, but i all rady have him, not sure he getrs a lot of benafit from np 2 as aposed to np 1.

Both are top tier soloers (only behind QSH).
@@A_d_e_k yah cu alter has the same doug skill as raguler cu right? and i know enkidu is good. i just all ready have several good SSR lancers. like ereshkigal, scodie, and romulas. i don't think i personaly need a forth. like if he came out when i was just rolling i wouldent complane, becues i know he can do some stuf those others cant, but i donn't think i would use my one free SSR for him.
My goal for 2023 are :
- Muramasa (Any NP within 600+ budget)
- Percival (He's not limited, I know. but I just want him and it would be great if I manage to get his sister on same banner)
- Oberon (just NP1 is enough, I just like his character)
- Taikoubou (sam as Percy, but I LOVE his VA so much so I much get him as NP5+ bc wanna do lv120)

Red Extra 2 would be great for my chaldea. I can get NP2 for Rulertoria (Bonus in every summer event), Jalter (More NP damage), Summer Kiara (Better Farming damage), Hokusai (Better CQ damage) and Avenger Nobu (Bonus in Every Gudaguda event. If Lucky I can finally get my final copy of OG Kiara to make her NP5 ( And face her final misfortune irl event). Chokita and Van are servants I like. This is a win-win gssr banner for me.
My banners for the year are
Starting the year with 1500 ftp quartz
200 qz for muramasa
400 qz for my second ishtar
Whatever it takes for morgan
Probably np 2
Tickets for fujino
400 sq for kyonskaya
The rest for lancer ryoma banner.
NA did get the Meltyblood banner this year, it ran at the same time as the Summer Kiara banner :D
As a Dolphin and a collector, 2023 is gonna be ROUGH! I'm going for:
Muramasa ( maybe 2 copies ), Abby, Summer Tamamo, and if those rolls go good I might try for a copy of Maid Alter.
For the GSSR, I'll be going for White Horsemen in hopes of getting King Hassan or Arjuna Alter.
Might try for my final copy of Calamity Jane, haven't decided yet though.
Masakado and Madb ( another copy of Cu Alter would be nice, but I probably won't try for it ).
A higher NP level for both ROMA and Altera would be nice ( plus I still need Nero ), but haven't decided what I'm doing for this event yet.

...I know the Class-Based banners suck, but they shafted us on Salter's ONLY rate-up banner, and I'm weak ( send help ).

It's just impossible to grab em all but my targets are gonna be muramasa, melusine and koyanskaya, I'll just have to settle for friend support oberon.
Morgan Le Fay, Koyanskya & Oberon. Necessary to have strong will to be semi F2P but have alot of sq saved up in the present box this year for the rolls next year

SSR: 1) Summer Okitan 2) Kagekiyo 3) Oberon/Taigong Wang
SR: 1) Summer Nastya 2) Asagami Fujino 3) Whatevs for that one.
Other like Caren, Gogh (if failure in next weeks), Ryoma, Himiko might be nice... But you won't catch me dead spending anything at Koyanskunk's banners, no matter what.
It will be an easy year for me. I just want Tom Witch, Avenger Ushi, and Calamity Jane. After that if I can get some summer servants and hopefully have enough left over for Zenobia. She is a 4* with 10* artwork.
2023 will be absolutely nuts. More or less why after Castoria/Summer I've gone into saving mode for the rest of the year. It'll just be a necessity. GSSR-wise I'll definitely go Red Extra 1. Nothing but wins there. An extra copy of Melt would be amazing, Space Ishtar would be good, etc. Just a strong group with no real losing options for me.
Absolutely my top goal is Melusine. Cannot go through next year without getting her. Already set to drop a lot of quartz and see how that goes. NP3+ would be amazing, but mentally I'm ready for what may unfold. Top three is obviously Melusine, then Vitch, and then Oberon. Mostly to set up the Melusine nuke farming setup. But to round out the top 5, I would love to get Summer Kama (because adorable) and ideally Morgan, but that's asking for a lot.
It will be interesting to see how the banners get moved around. Nero Fest and/or Summer re-run seem destined to be pushed further into the year so LB6 can come out earlier. Since they've got to at least get Part 2 and Melusine out before the anniversary. Which...should make things even more insane. We're talking Castoria, then Morgan, then Melusine, then Vitch, Oberon, and then maybe Summer servants or Nero Fest banner. We're all doomed!
Remember that you have Morgan banner after Oberon and also in Sea Monster Crisis in 2024. So if you want Melusine, then you can skip the first Morgan banner, as hard as that sounds.
@@Soluxya Yeah, I've been keeping that in mind as a possibility. There are fallback options. Thankfully Morgan is so darn popular that she gets a lot of banners relatively speaking. May take a light approach on Morgan's first banner and see what's there (if anything) by her second banner. And if necessary just move to save for 2024 instead.

I think except for Muramasa and Spishtar at start, there is a 6 months gap to save plenty for Oberon, Koyanskaya and Mélusine. All other servants aren't worth it. These three left some quartz then I will go for Summer Kama

For the record: there is only one month between Morgan's first banner and Oberon's banner, with Melusine, Castoria and Koyanskaya in between.

Ok, so I just started playing a week ago to this game and I would like to get some tips for next year. The thing is I don't really care about the meta that much and I don't want any servants just becouse they're broken or something, I just want to get the servants I personally like and I would like to read the opinions of more experienced players on what's the best course of action here. So my number one servant I absolutly must get next year is Mélusine, I just love her so much, and my number two is Okita, who was number one before I discovered Mélusine. After those two there are regular Ishtar and Nobunaga, both of them being my top 3 and 4 respectively. Also I am uneable to decide who I'm gonna choose for the 6th anniversary, I'm between Jeanne d'Arc and Tamamo no mae but I don't really know who I should pick. What I would like to know is what should I do to increase my chances to get all of them this year, what is the best way to farm saint quartz for that and that kind of stuff. Also I know farming quartz in game without paying is not a reliable option to get tons of quartz, but since I don't really care about other servants at all I'd like to think my chances of getting them all without spending anything at all are better than nothing, so what do you thing of that, do I have a good chance or reallisticaly I will probably have to pay for some saint quartz? Not a fan of Meta strats too but u nid to at least take some meta wise supp like skadi for quick servants or konskaya of light since ur comment is 10 mns ago i expect u got koyanskaya since she gud at supp the buster servants overall if u like melusine so much round out your rolls amplifying her effectiveness and grail her to oblivion luv her and give her headpats everyday then ur good to go 😊

next year I only have a few spirits that I actually want: muramasa, jalter, space ishtar, tamamo no mae, artoria and okita. everything else i can take or leave so if i can just manage to learn some self control, play through the story and free quests I should be ok. good luck to anyone busting out their wallets.

i say for FTP : we go a few multis on morgan , then save till konyaskaya and oberon and PRAY (morgan comes back) and of kama summer will take any sq that's left and that's it for 2023 till the other tamamo is out
On the bright side there’s only five SSRs that I want. Downside is three-four of them (still undecided on Oberon) are in back to back months. At least I’ll have a six month break between Muramasa and Morgan but then the pain starts, at least for me.
I'm rolling for Van Gogh this year and then saving as much as I can for the hell that is the summer, anni, and lostbelt 6 period

Top 3 targets r definitely Percival (hot), Oberon (love the design and gameplay), Taikobo (same with Oberon). But I'll probably end up impulsively yolo rolling all the time as a f2p. Good luck to everyone with their future rolls!
Just got muramasa and castoria I'm ok with it even in np1 both but Morgan and melusine are a must for me this year so good luck everyone

So I got a np5 Muramasa with 630sq and got np2 Space Ishtar and left with 90 sq 1000+ fragments so I'm targeting Oberon(found him entertainment and not meta purpose so np1 is good enough) and Melusine(the end of year at least np2 i wish)

Since they put pity on NA i will save SO hard to pity him, i do not trust my luck on fgo NA, this year only got 2 SSR T-T And i do not want to miss oberon, nope, i need him, husbando number one right there for me, top priority and he only had one rate up so far ;v;
If i could have chance to pull for other servants, would be Melusine and Vitch since oberon wont work well with Merlin xD
