For anyone who opened the top and the reservoir is empty, I fixed it. Open the bottom door, and make sure all the tubes are pushed in fully. You’re welcome
Part of the problem with the video tutorials is that they don't seem to encompass the various Primo model numbers. As is the case with my unit as well as reading the posts of others having similar problems, that supposed brass-colored adjusting screw is nowhere to be found. At the very least, the tutorials should address where any adjusting apparatus is located on the various models or at least respond to the inquiries here to help those who continue to experience these problems without having to call in a repair professional. All- *for my situation* cold water did not run. Hot water ran fine. Turned everything off and unplugged the machine. *Get a bucket* remove top cover. I disconnected the top lid from power source. Central drain spout is right in the middle. Open front cabinet where you place your jug. Place bucket directly underneath spout. Go back to the inside of the machine and yank the plastic tube from the main spout. Water is going to gush out. Quickly place tube back into main spout. I heard a snap, most likely suction. Then press cold water button. It should work. *Dry* surroundings of the main spout! Use paper towels and try to squeeze it in. Dry as best you can to prevent mold. If everything works, reassemble. Again, this worked for my situation.
my water dispenser is model 601088, the hot and cold water work very well, but only for a while, because every time the water that is in the tank freezes, water stops flowing and I have to turn off the compressor for two hours, to thaw and be able to use the dispenser again
Same issue. Was told by my water company that they stopped carrying this unit for that same reason. Total waste of money. The thermostat needs to be replaced and it cannot be replaced on these units.
Same and now green light above snowflake continuously blinks preventing compressor to kick on and tank to fill. About had it with this unit and maybe 2yrs old. Model#601088 Just noticed same model so it's making me wonder if there's a flaw in this model. Primo should be replacing unit for free especially due to their customers daily hassles.

I just bought a bottom loader with the kurig coffee maker and everything works great but it pisses me off there is a small dent in the side of it. Also, the water is not cold and I couldn't find no brass screw. I check the baffle and it was in place. I paid $36 for a 3 year warranty but I don't think I will have this much longer because the water is not cold. Also the hot water doesn't cycle on and off as it should so it is not as hot as it should be when I brew a morning cup of coffee and I am not waiting 15 minutes for the water to heat up if I where to shut it off and turn it on in the morning. You would THINK there would be temperature adjustments. I also notice once the compressor shuts off it never seems to start back up again to keep the water cold. Also when you dispense cold water it the compressor should start and it doesn't unless you dispense allot of water and it is cool not cold. I don't want to run a compressor and not have cold water, it is a waste of electricity. This machine sucks and I am returning it.
How do they stay in business. My water stopped producing cold water. I followed the directions, video..no luck. I wanted to send it back, I purchased this in February and they told me I am to late. So I am stuck with a machine I can't use. UGH

I think I have an older model, but I've got an issue with the green LED that constantly flashes above the snowflake symbol on the right. Thank you for reaching out to us. If you have not tried it, turn off switches on the back and unplug your machine(UNLESS YOU HAVE MODEL 601242 or 601264). While the machine is turned off , dispense about 4 cups of water from the cold dispenser. Then, plug the machine back on and turn on only the green switch. Allow one hour for the unit to cool the water before checking the temperature. Please contact us at social@primowater for further assistance if this does not fix your issue.

Your thermostat is broken most likely. It cannot be replaced. I had the same issue. Nothing you can do except toss the unit out. Even repair department said they cannot fix it. I am pretty bummed.
In my old dispenser, if I let the water jug go empty and I drank all that was in the reservoir and left it that way very long, the unit would freeze. The solution is to unplug, let it thaw for a day and then put a full water jug back in there or refill the existing jug to the top and plug everything back together and then things will start working again.
Thank you for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your dispenser. Please email us at social@primowater.com so we may provide further assistance.

Primo Bottom Loading Coolers are Junk, no matter what I did and this video was of no help that damn red light would keep coming on. My opinion avoid bottom loaders I also have a top loader and for over 15 years not a problem from it.
Brian Skeen I've had a similar problem and it was kind of simple to fix. I hope you have the same issue I did. The little straw tube that goes in your gallon jug might be slightly disconnected. Make sure the tubes are pushed in all the way for the big straw and for the tube leading back into the primo. I accidentally loosened it before when sliding the jug in and the red light never went away until I pressed the tube line in properly.
victor thanks for the advice but I did check all the straws and connections from the probe in the bottle all the way Thur the lid where the baffle is. Checked everything. Win some lose some.
Thank you for reaching out. Great question! Primo Water dispensers range in temperatures. Cold water will generally be between 37F and 50F while hot water is generally between 182F and 210F. Model number 601144 has a slightly lower hot temperatures ranging between 176F and 198F.Please let us know if you have any other questions.
If you can hear the pump trying to refill the reservoir(s) then check all hose connections. Usually the one on the bottle cap is slightly pulled out. Also if that doesn't work. Take the top panel off (2 screws in the back) and make sure lid on the the reservoir is fully seated
Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. Turn all switches to the off position. Unplug the unit. After a few minutes, plug the unit back in, turn the switches back on and give it one hour and recheck the water temperature. If this does not correct the issue, please call our Customer Service Center.

@@hehheh1204 I was going to, but it turned out to be a really simple fix. Mine apparently just froze from not being used enough, so I just unplugged it, took the top off the reservoir, and poured hot water into it, until the ice melted enough to pull out the block of ice, then closed it back up and it works fine now. I think the important thing is not let these things go more than like a month without using them.

You have it set too far - the screw on the back where you adjust the coolness of the water. If adjusted too far, it will freeze the water and possibly damage the unit.

Why are both the cool/ room temperature water and the cold one the same temperature? They are both cold, my mom doesn't drink cold water so she pours some cold then some hot to make it cool or room temperature but is there a way to fix it?
Hi @qnt859 - Thank you for your question. It depends on the dispenser model you have as not all units have room temperature spigots. If you are experiencing issues with your unit, please do not hesitate to email us at social@primowater.com. Thanks!
the blue button from the primo is not going in like the red button.

My reservoir keeps freezing with in 8 hours of being on and will not dispense from the cold water side. Hot water side is fine and dispenses normally
Hi, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please contact us at social@primowater.com so we may provide further assistance.
I've tried calling, FB, Twitter and they are always busy. ALWAYS!!! I'm at a road block right now.
How do i get the top off of one that has the keurig storage on top? Took two screws but lid wont budge feels like it gonna break
Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. With the type of dispenser you have, we do not recommend that you remove the top cover as this can cause damage to the dispenser. Please contact us at social@primowater.com for further assistance with your issues.
The front lip is tucked under the front frame, lift the back up and pull , it should unsnap from the front bezel.
So my compressor stopped working is it done? Do I just need to buy a new one?

48 degrees is not cold!
No, it isn't. I get
model #vwD1066BLS,s_1
Mines 52 degrees
my baffle has ice in it. could that also be the cause of no cold water?
Jessy Cardenas did you find a solution? Mine is also not dispensing cold water. Hot and room temp work fine. Haven't taken mine apart yet to see if it too has ice.
Didn't work for me.
Wait. I bought mine two days ago and the cold water light did not come on. This should not happen!

Prime the pump, ie invert the siphon tube and pour some water into it and then trip the door switch on top left of frame. It should suck water into the pump. Then quickly put tube into the bottle.
I followed his instructions and when removing the lid from where the water is, one of the straws broke as the water was frozen: '(

On 2:38 You skip with the Bethel how do you take it off it seems easy on your video but it's hard to take it out
Thank you for contacting us. You should be able to pull out of the baffle by pulling it up using some force to remove it from where it is sitting.
@@primowaterco If I was to forcefully pull up the baffle it would have broken, there are tabs you need to push to release and then it will pop off.
@@victortorres - I checked and double-checked the hoses. Light still comes on. Any other suggestions?
@@robira1313 flip the switches off and unplug it for an hour. hopefully a reboot will fix it
@@victortorres Nope. It was air in the lines. Works fine now!
What should the temperature be of the cold water
Thank you for reaching out. Great question! Primo Water dispensers range in temperatures. Cold water will generally be between 37F and 50F while hot water is generally between 182F and 210F. Model number 601144 has a slightly lower hot temperatures ranging between 176F and 198F.Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Compressor stop workin after 91 days one day after warranty expire lol
Literally just happened but mine was 30 days FOH
+Hello after I put a new bottle of water in the unit the red light stays on what do I do
Same issue am having. Let me know if you ever get a reponse
If you can hear the pump trying to refill the reservoir(s) then check all hose connections. Usually the one on the bottle cap is slightly pulled out. Also if that doesn't work. Take the top panel off (2 screws in the back) and make sure lid on the the reservoir is fully seated
okay mines is frozen and won't dispense at all only hot water works ?
Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. Turn all switches to the off position. Unplug the unit. After a few minutes, plug the unit back in, turn the switches back on and give it one hour and recheck the water temperature. If this does not correct the issue, please call our Customer Service Center.

Your tutorial, and your cooler are both equally bad. Frozen reservoir here. Guess I'll just have to figure it out myself, and post an ACTUAL tutorial.
Are you going to post it? I would like to see how to fix it
@@hehheh1204 I was going to, but it turned out to be a really simple fix. Mine apparently just froze from not being used enough, so I just unplugged it, took the top off the reservoir, and poured hot water into it, until the ice melted enough to pull out the block of ice, then closed it back up and it works fine now. I think the important thing is not let these things go more than like a month without using them.
Aw man. The problem with mine is that the cold water dispenser gives me warm water. And the hot water dispenser isn’t ever on so it doesn’t make sense.
@@AMDRyzenEnthusiastGroup Mine freezes even when I used it often. The thermostat is broken. I would keep an eye out for yours. Has it been working? Mine only works when I unplug it, let it defrost, and then plug it back in. Then within a day it freezes again.
@@mybluedress I ended up having to take the piece of crap apart to thaw it completely out, because the thing was so frozen, it literally still had ice in it after almost an enitre WEEK unplugged.
my water dispenser is model 601088, the hot and cold water work very well, but only for a while, because every time the water that is in the tank freezes, water stops flowing and I have to turn off the compressor for two hours, to thaw and be able to use the dispenser again
You have it set too far - the screw on the back where you adjust the coolness of the water. If adjusted too far, it will freeze the water and possibly damage the unit.
I have the exact same problem. Did you find a solution?
