Even though we can't get those affordable TerraTrikes on this side of the pond, this video was so entertaining it was a great watch. Well done guys.
Thanks Chris, we love doing them. The trike world is fun and giving group :)
Higher seat than bottom bracket keeps numb feet and recumbent butt away. These low bottom bracket trikes look amazing.
Love my All Terrain!
Talking water bottles, there is a seat-back hydration pack available from T-Cycle and I think the Hostel Shop that is made for our recumbent rides! I have one. I like it because it holds my 72oz hydration bladder, is insulated and is hardly noticable on my GTS seatback. The only exposed piece is the drinking hose. This pack helps to keep my trike looking asthetically (sp?) clean!
What, specifically is it called on the website? I can't find it.
@@StumpyNubs T-Cycle Fastback 5.0 Hydration pack. I love mine!
I am looking into buying the Charge in The Villages, Florida. Need some exercise outdoors.
Is there a bumper that you can install to keep the rider from running into things with the motor? I have a Rambler that I have installed the electric motor. Haven’t ridden it yet but I will before too long.
Even better would be one of my recumbent trike full bodies. I originally built for my terratrike wizwheelz. Simular to a velomobile body.
Full body velomobiles are sweet!
Exactly, but mine take recumbent trike for the inside workings.
The final trike, the Spider with upgrade, would be a silly buy if you put a motor on it. You would negate all the weight reducing components.
People forget that moving a trike around can be a pain in the but. Heavier makes it worse…
Can I get a cargo version of the trike? Extended wheelbase with the cargo compartment behind the driver.
I've seen people turn the Terratrike Tandem Rover into a cargo trike. laidbackcycles.com/products/terratrike-rover-tandem?_pos=2&_sid=a62a2704f&_ss=r
What is the maximum weight capacity for the Charge?
The total load limit is 300 lbs.
side views would be nice
No tandems? Im a stoker who owns a Terratrike tandem pro IPS 20” all around . Whats coming?!
The Rover Tandem Motor by Bosch is now available. Just came out. We will be installing it soon to do a video.

I'm in the market for trike what I would never buy one without a real throttle
Totally get it. We do hub motors with the throttle. Maybe some day Bosch and Shimano will offer a throttle. I know Bafang offers one on their true mid-drive motor, but that's on MTB's, not yet available on trikes.
the proper name for the paint effect is flop, the paint flops to a different color based upon how the paint looks at a particular angle and light
Cool to know. Color changing paint effect is called a flop. Thanks Steve
Informative, but you need better camera work. Can’t tell much of the trikes by continually looking at the front. When you do break away and show the trike, it’s much too fast and too close. No offense, but I would much rather see more of the bike than you two guys.
😂We'll make sure you see more of the trikes in future videos. This was off the cuff at Recumbent Cycle Convention. We also have individual videos of the trikes with more close ups. Cheers :)
Hub motors, yawn.
I hear ya, I ride a Bosch that I love, but hub motors are more affordable to meet the needs of people looking to get into power assist.
Hub motors are much better for just riding on relatively flat , rail trails. I don't need the additional torque and drivetrain stress that a mid-drive delivers.
I have a hub motor on my Radmission and love it. But I need a wide seat so looking at the Charge.
