Great. 5) AWSOME DIESEL MANUAL... 120 bhp.. even the honda city has 100 bhp. This 1.6 desel is jus 100 cc more, any one can get this 120 bhp on their 1.5 idtec, with a deseltronic tuning box. Also the 1.6 desel engine is same as the 1.5 idtec desel engine, ! Yes, the idtec is good for earth and its dreams made by us . But its no good for driver, for performance nor comfort. Yes economy it gives. ( 4yr city idtec owner) .. 6) THOUGHT FOR BUYERS. If you buy this car , for. 20 plus or under 30 lakhs - .. in under 1.5 years of ur finance repayment , the new 11th gen civic wil be released in other international markets. Then, the car tht is with u, with out even the new car fragrance is off, will b just an outdated model in 1.5 yrs and u will b sitting on a 3.5 yrs of loan repayment ( if its 5 yrs plan) .so one fine morning ur new honda civic is just an another old gen civic. Also the engine 1.8 petrol cvt or 1.6 desel manual are not going to be a drivers car. ! And finally, MOSTLY HONDA WILL BRING THE 11th GENERATION CIVIC TO INDIA IN 3.5 years from now., !! That'w why almost 1600 cars already booked. Also its proved its reliability during this period. Also if you see cars like Elantra, Corrola changing designs every 2-3 years, now both cars bringing new versions. Comparatively, Honda doesn't change designs so often. Agree CVT is dull, but we drive cars normally in city where its performance is more than adequate. if you count how many people buy performance oriented cars that are used as daily driver. Hardly, 200 Octavia's are sold a month. out of them most of the cars sold are diesel version. here petrol is more performance oriented car, then why people buy diesel cars more?. Feature wise many of the features offered in Elantra Octavia are useless. Auto park assist is slow and people park manually than using this feature. Ventilated seat is miss definitely, but lane watch, break hold like features are more useful. Your point no 6 is applicable to every other cars, so there is no point discussing it.

I agree with you plenty. It's ridiculously over priced and grossly under powered. It's not appealing to youngsters as there is nothing exciting under the hood and definitely not suitable for people past middle age as getting in and out is difficult, especially in the back. So sad the Wait was for this disaster.

We want the 1.5L Turbo Petrol! And not providing a Auto Transmission on the diesel is a crime! Your review was good but where are the performance figures? Or they are so bad that Honda has requested you to not mention them?? Even the Skoda Octavia 1.4L beats this n performance and the performance like the 1.8L TSI is a dream for Honda. Octavia is a good car and a great one too but it still has DSG which is prone to wear out quick... CVT isnt as bad as people say it to be.. actually its one of best transmission and also one the of the fastest to accelerate.. Besides we havent ridden it till now lets see and test drive might be this civic will ne enough for the enthusiast too.. Reviewers wont like it much anywy mainly bcose they have driven superior cars b4 but maybe for us it will be good.. not to forget even the old Civic wasnt any fast... rather slower den this civic

Talking about the old CIVIC it is itself a legend.Even after 10-12 yrs the car looks futuristic and smashing!!. Sandeep Padmanabhan Civic CVT is more linear in acceleration so rubber band effect is not witnessed easily until you completely floor the accelerator

Not impressed. If you say Civic had an emotional bind, well I say Honda is playing with our emotions! Just look at it- a good looking car with a performance that will struggle to be called mediocre.
We want the 1.5L Turbo Petrol! And not providing a Auto Transmission on the diesel is a crime!
Your review was good but where are the performance figures? Or they are so bad that Honda has requested you to not mention them??
Even the Skoda Octavia 1.4L beats this n performance and the performance like the 1.8L TSI is a dream for Honda.

No. It doesn't have front parking sensors, engine is second dullest only next to Corolla, boot is smallest.
city seems to be more sensible buy and petrol comes with a manual.. hehe why doesnt honda design a dct or atleast a torque converter for its cars..
Apart from the looks , everything about the new civic is just boring!

@@siddharthsubandh9167 we havent even driven it.. besides we are not racers anyway to drive furiously in roads.. Whatever power it has is sufficient for daily use we are gonna be stuck in jam anyway most of the time so 0-100 doesnt matter in the real world and as far as i read the reviews this CVT is good u will get a better acceleration CVT always gave better acceleration and on high speed still its a better choice

@@siddharthsubandh9167 First of all no car in this segment has any enthusiasm... atleast at this price.. besides company are not be build in here people want only mileage.. n that thing makes company bring all this.. afterall we young buyers are not gonna buy 20L+ cars.. and the petrol version doesnt come in manual even in US or anywhere else so.. besides this car is still fast once u leave 60 mark it will faster in this segment bcose u will get torque literally at reach.. Octavia is a good car and a great one too but it still has DSG which is prone to wear out quick... CVT isnt as bad as people say it to be.. actually its one of best transmission and also one the of the fastest to accelerate.. Besides we havent ridden it till now lets see and test drive might be this civic will ne enough for the enthusiast too.. Reviewers wont like it much anywy mainly bcose they have driven superior cars b4 but maybe for us it will be good.. not to forget even the old Civic wasnt any fast... rather slower den this civic
@@GamerGoneMad India is a diesel market.Diesel owners any day will prefer automatic transmission over the manual.Also the I DTEC is not enthusiastic...if Honda could have launched it with a CVT it would have made more sense instead of the petrol.Also remember that Hondas CVT masks the lack of power preety well(ex-Honda Amaze idtec cvt).Hondas petrol engines are free revving....the CVT transmission makes the car handicapped.Honda should have launched the petrol with manual and the diesel with automatic....also launching the petrol with manual will result in the depreciation in the car price which will benefit us...
Talking about the old CIVIC it is itself a legend.Even after 10-12 yrs the car looks futuristic and smashing!!. Considering the fact that it came with petrol manual at that time spiced it up even more....it felt soo brilliant to drive....The new CIVIC can't match it until Honda gives the VTEC it's proper pairing!!

crv has 1.6 diesel. i thought it would have atleast a 2 liter diesel.. lol
And to top it all, it has been de tuned from a 160+ bhp to the less than mediocre 120 bhp!

1.8 Octavia is not a desirable car for the average d segment buyer. They go for 2.0 diesel. 1.8 Octavia is discussed only in enthusiast forums.

Is the spare tyre a full size alloy? That changes the boot capacity figures in each market.

Go for Octavia 1.4 tsi manual middle version. Trust me, it is punchy, quick enough (8.4 sec to 100). You definitely don't need DSG or 1.8 tsi.
