Maris Clement was a member of the ensemble in On the Twentieth Century (Kahn’s second Tony nomination).
Julie Dretzin co-starred in Wendy Wasserstein’s The Sisters Rosensweig, which earned Kahn the Tony for Best Actress in 1993.
Michael Karm co-starred with Kahn in Richard Rodgers’ Two by Two on Broadway and was her acting for several early film roles (including Paper Moon).

William V. Madison (Madeline Kahn: Being the Music, A Life, UPM) joins moderator Eddie Shapiro (Nothing Like a Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater, Oxford University Press) for this event at Barnes & Noble at the Grove, Los Angeles, on February 10, 2016.

RIP, Miss Kahn. I still can’t believe you are gone. Thank you, University Press of Mississippi, for publishing this amazing book.

This is so wonderful. I truly think of Madeline Kahn at least once a week. No performer has ever touched me so deeply. She is just a treasure in all the ways.

Once in a while, a reminder kicks in that she is gone... will be 25 years without her this December. The grieving process kicks in again, then life moves forward again. I'm tempted to reach out to her widower to ask about things that haven't been asked so those who miss her may know a little more... simple things, so we can know the person behind the front she played.
Hopefully there will be efforts to keep her memory alive and even widen our understanding of who she really was.
