In one of your videos, you talked about different types of wrestlers(some being weak and strong with lots of endurance and few endurance etc)... my question is what is considered strong for a wrestler like nick if he was to say 210lb like myself. What exercises are the main measurements of strength for your wrestlers and how strong do they have to be to be considered good. I was very strong back in 2017 but let myself go the following years. And when I wrestled it was way before I trained with weights and in school. I’m just curious how strong is strong for wrestling and in what movements. Thank you
Strong for a heavyweight under our system would be able to do 10-15 pull ups, climb ropes, clean up to 350 lbs, bench press close to 400lbs, Squat close to 500lbs, have exceptional grip strength when tying up, and be strong in unilateral positions.
