You have a 4.xx in that bike once you get a road tire and a 44t will keep the front down and also extract the extra kw, your dragy run had a stall between 50-60 which is down to sats so get a clear run and thats already sub 5.5 👌👌
I did a 4.8 on first ride not sure why it was hanging between 50-60 like you said in my other videos it went from 38-67 in about 1 second so I think the dragy needs a bit better sats as the surron wasnt 4 seconds difference head to head im sure thats doing a 7sec 0-60!

The new craze in the States is the e-Ride Pro SS. However, once again the Jack Shaft is a no no due to it being too loud. The Wheel base I also believe is shorter than the Stings. I think the Sting would be faster with the longer wheel base and easier to control in the whoops.
Maybe you should compare the Pro SS to the Sting?
@shockadellick yeah it looks ok but it has no linkage either it looks to be a direct mount shock to main frame. If this is the case I wouldnt ride one, i bend an axle every month on the sting throwing it about. Im sure id destroy the mount or swing arm on an XXX which works the same way. Im no tallon pemberton but off camera I do throw my bike at logs and whoops fast. I dont always film my rides as I cant have as much fun and worry about shots 24/7 and audio.
I would love to test an ss out though if a company wants to send me one. Maybe if I pull a few strings some of my sponsors can help me free up some bikes I have sitting around to fund one for a review.

What exact battery do you use? The dominator V3 (55 Ah) version requires a seat extension, right? Do you also have the seat riser installed?
It normally does but I removed the battery tray and arm at the bottom and added washers to space the latch, it fits ok but with a small gap between lid and frame. I have extensions to fit but havent got round to it, if you’re handy with DIY then you can make it work without. And yes its the 72v 55ah dominator v3 :)

The tm25 is a very similar motor, and I know CHI bypass the bms so it will probably be very similar in performance!
I had a 4.8 on my first ride 0-60 but on the dragy in the video there was some weird lag on the 50-60 cound which seemed a bit off which i think was a satellite issue on the gps.
On my dig ‘n’ ride video the bike from 30-67 much faster on camera! Ill retry maybe 🤣
What is original 0-60 of the bike in the stock configuration.
It doesnt get to 60 in standard form top speed is about 50mph 👍🏻 and it took about 14 seconds to get there

No I have not. I had a deal for the sotion with tingtong. I would like the KO motor but at double the cost I didnt fancy it.
Since this video I have had the bike at 28kw and my friend on an 80v has his sotion at 36kw 👍🏻

You mentioned making your bike longer and taller.... Is there going to be an extended swingarm available for the Talaria soon or what? Do you know something I don't??? Hopefully ebmx will make one. I really like the one they have for the Surron.
Haha trust me nothing beats a powdercoated frame man! Get that done! And with regards to the swing arm I have something up my sleeve so stay tuned for the next video ;)
The battery that your link leads to Dominator 72V 55ah states you need one of those huge ugly lid covers to fit how did you manage to make the battery fit without it mate?
Yes i mDe it fit by removing bottom of battery compartment tray and the arm then spaced latch 5mm

I have dual discharge leads, so half is stock, half is a larger new loom, there are 4 wires in total going to negative and positive controller terminals 👍🏻
This is why I kept my MX3 when I got the MX4, it's a great bike with a few mods, heck it's a blast stock, but I might sell it this year as I have a Dragon ordered and I don't even know the price yet. 😂

How come your brothers surron was only pushing 15kw? Is that all it’s capable with that battery?
Should do more but the motor wasn’t under enough load due his gearing means it only got to 430 phase instead of the full 500 it pulls up hill or with a heavier rider. The battery can do a bit more :) should see 19.5 out of it, it peaked at 15.6 on the flat speed runs but we both run gearing for offroad, he has changed his front sprocket and has a chain drive too 👍🏻

Coming from a dirt bike background I can't believe how slow these bikes are, a 80cc dirbike smokes these
Ill re run my dragy at another location but here in british countryside theres not many straight and flat roads. In my area the dragy really struggles to find satellites and was playing up 🥹 its funny you mention that as we also have dirtbikes, a 2023 sx85, an sx150, crf450r and many others like a raptor quad, ill do some more races but this bike out drags the 150 and destroys the 85, the 0-60 will be more like 4.8-5.2 around there once my extended swing arm helps me keep the front down, remember this is 32hp and 600nm of torque in a 70kg bike with a short wheelbase, the limiting factor for this is looping the bike not speed, this will wheelie at 55mph, the dragy was having bad sats in the video hence the weird stall in power from 50-60mph, in my previous video (dig n ride) you can see the mph climb from 30-70 in 2 seconds
wow I think you convinced me not to get a sotion motor My MX4 specs: X9000 controller, Chi Titan Touring S, KO factory spec Motor. Gearing 15 front 40 rear. top speed 87mph
Ko f spec motor has 12000 peak rpm sotion has a 9800 peak rpm. Thats the difference. My bike maxes out at 68mph gps on a 48t which would be 81mph gps, although on the sotion my friend on an 80v is running it way past 40kw with his p50b pack which the f spec couldnt do.
Since this video I now run 30kw, with a 37t rear on supermotos 👍🏻

Samsung 50s are worst cells,have worst cycle life ... they dont like high amps ,they heat up quickly ...
They are the worst cells! Bold statement. For my application they have been fantastic and no swelling unlike pouch cells. The 24kw I regularly pull is not stressing the battery and doesn’t get hot either. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

Tc100? Do you mean tc1000? I was sent a torp controller by TORP last year was good I liked it but for talaria I love nucular 💪🏼 i now pull 27.5kw with some tweaks and the extra phase amps from tc1000 would make not much difference as capped to 650 on sotion 👍🏻
