I'm almost 100% sure that it supposed to hold that center bolt still when tighting the valves so I have to use a wrench and not A ratchet

nice video but I can't seem to find anything on the internet where you have to spin the motor to the certain symbols to adjust the intake and the exhuast there should be 3. I'm pretty sure its the same quad but the years 1999 if you could find that that would be life saving

My valves have been tapping the past few hours of riding.... is it real bad to keep riding with them making a tapping sound?

It ain't terrible but I would tighten your valves and keep a check on your oil

Newer to working on quads, how do you know the valves need to be adjusted?

I heard rattling I'm not new to working on quad I was going to adjust the timing chain but I figured before I order a timing chain adjuster id just go ahead and adjust the valves.

Yes, always make sure it's TDC. Turn the crank counter clockwise there is a line on the case and 2 lines on the inside. You want to be in the middle of those 2 lines like it shows in the video.
