I played the Chris Cornell 335. It had filtertrons and a really cool satin blue finish- but it was about $7k. I find it really hard to justify that kind of price for a non vintage guitar when there are so many alternatives for way less. Especially for a guy who takes guitars out for gigs. You can build up a base Epiphone Dot that has the right feel and it’ll more than do the job- for 1/3 of the price! Nice demo Rich, really dig all your content!

I don't know where they get the prices from for a plain looking guitar. I sold a 335 with a gorgeous flame top in a natural colour with gold hardware 17 years ago that would have looked a million dollars in comparison ( one of those reluctant sales - sadly like many over the years ).

Trini was a rhythm guitar player and singer. Doesn’t make sense. Gibson is out of their minds. Companies like Eastman are going to bury them. Fender is the same just as nuts. Thx Rich, really like your channel 👍

Wow 6k for an axe if you have the cash and your playing justifies the price tag fair enough... after watching a video about Murphy Lab LP's the heavy relic effect was done by using railway track nails, keys etc these guitars go for around 10k! Understand most of these prices are for collectors and guitars go into a display case!.. even if l had the money l would still by a mid-range guitar and most of all use it!.. I guess some must have the Gibson name on the head stock no matter what?
