I love watching these eagles. fell in love with eagles when i went to alaska. have pics all over my walls. my dog & I watch them constantly. his big ears perk up when they start talknig. so wonderful
Shadows head darting back and forth like he's counting them 😄Then he sticks his beak in the snow! They've got a lot of parenting ahead ❤ ❤ ❤ I knew which one was 1st and 2nd but since number 3 last night I've lost track 🤔
I can't imagine nests with f o u r eggs. There are cases but were they able to raise them all? And did all of them hatch? Amazing and difficult for the male :D
Yes, there are documented cases of Bald Eagles successfully fledging four chicks, it has happened in the Chesapeake Bay nests where there is abundant fish to feed the brood. Food is the key.
Poor Shadow...he struggled a little to figure it all out, how to keep them all under him without stepping on them. He's not as big as Jackie so it's more of a challenge for him.
