    Hello, Julie! Such a fun video!! Oh my goodness, yes, I totally have separate hobbies of pattern collecting, fabric collecting and then actual sewing, 🙈😂😂 Loved all your patterns, I even have a few, shocker 😂 I LOLd when you featured the Prairie Dress, I have that one too and had opposite thoughts as you! Hard to say what I would look like in the dress but Addy has no choice, I’m making it for her one day 🤣 Thanks so much for sharing with us! Happy Sewing ❤~Tiffany

      That's it, I'm making you an honorary member of the pattern addicts anonymous club 😆😆😆. I may just go with your train of thought and make up one for the little and see how she reacts but it is really the cutest dress. I just sewed something up for my little this week for the first time in a long time and I am smitten with how cute she looks in it and now I really want to sew up all the things for her LOL. Thanks for watching & chatting with me, Tiffany. It always makes me smile 😄

    YES, I do have some of these patterns. AGREED- I am also a member of the triple hobby committee, Sew.Fabric.Pattern repeat! Let me know when you're working on the McCall's raglan sleeve tunic/dress hack, I'd love to share a bit more about how I got the dress look, but I think you'll love it! I also bought the butterick shirt drss after seeing Rochelle Handmade Designs sew it up, but I love Whitney from Tomkat Stitchery too, lol it's always nice to see different versions of the garments made up. Can't wait to see what you get to first!

      I love the name, the triple hobby committee LOL. From now on that's what I'll be calling it. & I totally, getting to watch different people make and wear patterns is almost as fund as doing it myself 😆 I'd definitely love you get all the details on how you achieved that look when I get around to that pattern. Do you have an Instagram?

    Hi Julie. Great pattern Haul. I am that crazy pattern person and I'm working on it! I will tell you that Simplicity 7960 view D is a killer skirt! I am on the curvy side and this skirt falls beautifully. I'm sure youll be happy once you sew it up. Also, thanks for introducing Simplicity 8835, sexy and feminine! Suscribed

      @thecuratedcurvy  Рік тому

      Hey there! 🤗 The pattern collectors anonymous club welcomes you 😆 Thanks for the tip on the skirt, the hubby wants me to try that type of silhouette but as you can see - I get a bit hesitant LOL. I'd love to know what type of fabric you choose if you remember. Also, thanks so much for subscribing! I see you have a channel too so now we can both follow and keep up with each others journey 🥰

      I used a wool fabric from Fabric Mart. I don't make videos on evrything I make due to my schedule but I actually made a video on this one. Nice energy I will definitely be watching. Glad I found your channel

    I‘m in love with Simplicity S9639 - I despise sewing ready made patterns (just because I‘m so bad at following instructions) but I would definitely make an exception for this one 😍 can’t wait to see you make it!

      @thecuratedcurvy  Рік тому

      It's so dreamy right?! & I totally feel you on ready made patterns, it's all i know but having to go through a new set of instructions is usually (& unfortunately) enough to deter me from starting a new pattern 😆

    I love your intro!!! Too cute! I had to put a moratorium on pattern buying, and I buy mostly indie patterns!!! Great choices.

      Thank you! I'm trying to extend my editing capabilities 😆 & I need to join you on that but I get too tempted by all the sales LOL. How did those makes go last month, I believe you were making a dress for your sister? I'm trying to get more into selfless sewing so inquiring minds want to know 😆

    You can alter the trouser hip fairly easily. Draw a line across from the crouch level across the leg, make the seam allowance side seam, centre from and back seams and waist line. Mark a line across the largest hip line and then from the halfway point from the waist to crouch line slash both ways not cutting through seam allowance. Open up at the hip line to the required amount and tape in place put paper behind and tape in place to secure straighten the centre seams alteration done. I'm a couture fashion designer and pattern cutter and I am training to work on the costumes for strictly come dancing and dancing on Ice. Strictly come dancing your version is dancing with the stars. I'm close friends with one of the managing directors of the UK version

    I started working on M8032 view C with a floral cottage scene print cotton. Thank you for sharing those patterns. I might look for the vintage M3716, that absolutely screams fall/winter.

    Julie, I always enjoy your videos. I do not enjoy pattern hauls, but I found your pattern haul video to truly be enjoyable so I save it to my Sewing Playlist. You mentioned a UA-camr, the 1st one you mentioned, in your video, but I did not catch the name. What is her name? I found many of the patterns you showed were ones I would make. I love your outfits. Hugs,

      Hey! Thanks so luv for watching! I appreciate your feedback, I do get nervous about these types of videos because I always want to feel like I’m offering something and not just showing (if that makes any sense LOL) I think the first UA-camr I mentioned was Whitney from Tomcat Stitchery 😊
