Thanks for the review, now I’m even more interested in this guitar. Your tone is fantastic as always, maybe the best on youtube!
Thanks! Glad to hear!
Awesome review, gotta love the early Zakk and pride and glory!
Great sound my friend!!!! 🤘🏻❤️
Ah thanks Bro, actually the first guitar I've ever had with EMGs so was a bit nervous but I know the 81 especially has been around for so long. Bought this online on reviews, pictures etc. Looks really great so am pretty stoked. You've helped me with my decision over the last year or so!
Glad to hear! Thanks!
Every guitar I ever want to see a demo of, I can find it on your channel and it’s always the best demonstration.
Oh thanks man! Really glad to hear!
@@EugeValovirta230V I’m always drawn to your channel because you can create some amazing guitar tones and when you speak, it’s easy to understand.
🙏
😍 great looking guitar. Sounds amazing. I love ltd ec.
Cool video! Thank you.
Thanks!
So beautiful and agressive.
🙏🤟
I really enjoyed your playing
Glad to hear! Thanks!
Nice axe, man. Sounds great Those LTDs are a great value for the money
Yes indeed 🤘👍
@@EugeValovirta230V the one thing that would make them perfect would be if they had the 4 knobs like a les paul. They kind of do the flying v knob configuration.
I agree👍. But it’s fine since there’s two volume controls cos the tone is usually at max anyway 😊
I have the blue natural fade version. Its my favorite guitar I have ever owned.
Cool!
Sweet 🤘
🤘😎
I have the same guitar but in Vintage Black with EMG's. I love it! Now I just need to learn how to play a few songs..
Cool! 👍😊
That is one sexy guitar.
Thinking about getting me one of these some Day.
Just bought a new guitar so i have to wait för a while so my wife doesnt kill me 🤘
😊👍
I just ordered a LH model of this, looked for examples, the 1st one sounded bad but they guy had crazy muddy tone then found you demo'g this! score..BUT The one I ordered has EMG 81 / 60s so is different than this one you demo'd it appears. Either way, I'm stoked for it to arrive! I bought a B-Stock and for a few blemishes, I'll take the big savings I got :)
Cool! Pickups just pickup your sound and EMGs do it very well IMO. There’s a reason most of guitars have EMGs and especially the 81 on the bridge 👌😎. This wasn’t my guitar and just did this video about it. But a great guitar 👌.
This really looks awesome and the sound is amazing. The only question I got is how heavy is this guitar? The weight is the main thing keeping me away from Les Pauls (I have some back problems) but this one looks a lot thinner and doesn't have a maple cap, so I hope it's a little lighter.
Yeah! Can’t remember exactly but it was definitely lighter than my full thickness ESP Custom Shops.
🙏👍
No worries 😊👍
Oh shit Euge how did i miss this review. Im looking for a used one and the single mode sounds great especially since I hate strats.
Glad to hear! 😎
Really nice video mate, saw one of those axes on the website of my local guitar-store
Maybe this will be my next "financial msitake"😂😂😂
Thanks man!
😁👌
I'm a little late nice guitar , nice demo and playing as always..
Thanks!
Hello young man , so your an emg guy . What do you think of the Hetfield set of emgs compared to the the 81, 85 and ,60 ? Just curious 😉 would you ever switch over to the Hetfield emg set .
They’re great. I have the set on my Iron Cross. Really similar than 57/66 but just voiced a bit differently. Especially the high end 🤟.
Euge, do you want to have any of these high-output Seymour Duncans in your guitars? For me, they don't sound good compared to EMG actives or a lower output passive pickup. BTW, the "violet andromeda" Eclipse is this year's standout colour IMO. :D
The Seymour Duncan high output pickups can sound good for single notes and some chords using the high strings, but they sound HORRIBLE for rhythm on the low strings.
Like I said on the video I’m an EMG guy but like I also said on the video that I like these Duncans too 👍😎
I think they sound good on everything. But EMG’s sound the best 👌😎
@@EugeValovirta230V Because you are an "EMG guy," and I know the sound well from the late 80s/early 90s, I wonder if you have used either the Bareknuckle ceramic Warpig OR the (ceramic) Miracle Man. If so, what do you think compared to EMG 57/81/60???
@@EugeValovirta230V I'm not sure how it is for other people when they hear the highs and mids from one of these Seymour Duncans; they sound trashy to me with excessive highs and mids. Even turning the tone knob down to "1," they sound nowhere near as good as EMG or a medium/vintage passive pickup.
i dont understand why esp puts an molded/plastic nut on the 1000 Series...anyway a beauty guitar
I want to play a wide range of music from 80s metal to modern metal to some blues. Would you recommend the passive pickups version?
I think it’s up to one’s personal taste but I play a wide range of music and generally prefer EMG active pickups for everything but on some of my guitars passive pickups works a bit better. For 80s to modern metal to blues I’d go with EMG actives but on the other hand I just got a LTD Phoenix (which I’ve done a video also) and it has Duncan Custom and Phat Cat passives and I like those a lot too. Sorry that I can’t give you a definitive answer 😎.
@@EugeValovirta230V Thank you for the good feedback and great video by the way 👍🏽
Thanks! 🙏🤘
how does clean overdrive stuff sound on the Duncans as compared to a EMG?
Oh that’s a tough one ’cos it really depends on the guitar and the player but I think the way they differ in general. Sorry but I really can’t come up with a better answer ’cos there’s so many factors involved 😎👌.
Awesome review!
How many kilos does it weight?
Thanks! I don’t have a scale so no idea about that 😎.
@@EugeValovirta230V Thanks!
what do you think about the Fluence pickups ? i never tried em before
They’re good but I’m still going to be an EMG guy 😊👍
Not Fluence, Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentient.
They’re ok too but not as tight than my all time favourites EMG 81 & 85 😎
I have this guitar with fluence Classic open core
UPS :)
do you no if the bridge is F space
sounds killer, looks sexy!
Thanks! Indeed :-)
Just picked up the same model but in blue. He’s correct the Duncan’ pickup set isn’t as tight. Might put an emg set in this weekend.

@@EugeValovirta230V Tightness comes from the hands, right..? ;)
First and foremost 😉👌
ErkkaKorhonenGuitar guitar plays great but though a boogie, or 5150 or Friedman it lacks the punch and clarity with the Duncan’s.
@@TheToneBarn Erkka is a really good friend of mine & a great guitarist. Here's an interview I did with him about his gear: ua-cam.com/video/r4h2Cu0Yulo/v-deo.html
My ear just got molested.
I had the volume maxed as well.
I feel violated.
I can't get married anymore.
This is fucked up like a rubber hammer handle...
