Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy watching my videos of Iceland as much as I enjoyed making them. You can watch the other videos I filmed in Iceland here:ua-cam.com/play/PL0wwMzq5-Q2hzceWtbxjG_PP_teDfL7Xv.html
I watched your video from start to finish. I really believe you deserve more views and thumbs up. I have been watching your Iceland and California videos and I am really enjoying them. I asked my friend to take a look at your channel to see why it is not getting traffic. She is really good at youtube optimization. She suggested you ask the viewers to give your video a thumbs up or subscribe if they enjoy your video. I noticed you don't ask and if you don't ask, people forget to do it.
Thank you for your kind words and support. Getting more views is not my primary objective. Doing youtube is a hobby for me, not a side job. I will still make videos even if I get 0 views and 0 subscribers. I am glad you are enjoying my videos. You will enjoy more when you see my next trip videos. Stay tuned!
thank you for your video, even though you keep saying its a long video but i watched from the beginning till the end. You provide a very detailed guide to all the places you visited. Its is october 2024 now and i went to visit iceland in september 2024. 1 month has passed and i cannot forget the beautiful waterfalls there which is why i am watching your video to bring back the memories. We visited dettifoss via the same route as you but we did not continue further to see Selfoss. If i didn't watch your video , i would'nt have known that there is another beautiful waterfall at the far end. Oh I really missed this one. Selfoss is so beautiful. maybe we should planned another trip there soon. I enjoyed your videos
Thank you so much for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. Iceland's waterfalls are unforgettable, and I'm happy it brought back good memories for you. Selfoss is truly beautiful, so maybe it’s a great reason for a future trip! Thanks again for your kind words!
All your videos are excellently done. Please don't change anything. We plan to follow your trail to the same places in one month and are glued to your videos. Very helpful. Thank you.
This is actually the best waterfall I have ever seen in Iceland (Dettifoss and Selfoss). The view from the east side is beyond my ability to describe. The road to the east side is very rough but it is worth it. When you search for this place on google map, make sure you select the east side so you get a good view. You will not see flies in this location yet. The flies issue starts when you get to Myvatn area.
THANK YOU!!! This was very helpful as I am researching these exact 2 waterfalls! Now I know what to expect on the hike to both of them (and the rough road!) Well done! I watched *almost* the whole thing and will be searching out your other videos, too!
Another nice video, thank you. Can you tell me how long did it take you to go to Studagil and do the hike then to Dettifoss hike there. I liked your video cause it is exactly what I was planning to try to do.
The hike to Studagil Canyon takes about an hour or so (one way). You only need to hike if you choose to go down all the way to the canyon just like what you saw in this video. If you choose to do so, you can park your car at Klaustursel farm parking lot and hike all the way to the canyon. You might be able to drive half way there but I think they are still fixing the gravel road and the bridge. Driving from Studagil to Dettifoss takes about 2 hours and you will be driving a gravel road if you visit Dettifoss from the east side. Enjoy your trip and thank you for watching!
Thank you for the video. This brings back memories when I visited there when I was much younger. Thank you for bringing those memories back and sharing your adventure.

What a gorgeous waterfall. Very big
It is gorgeous and so powerful. It is a little bit scary when you get close to it.
I like how you say "Praise the Lord, hallelujah!" Thank God for beautiful scenery and nature! Thank God for amazing hiking trails, for everything!
God nourishes our souls with his loving presence through the beauty of nature!
Yes it sure are beautiful waterfalls. Good way to use lots of rain
That waterfall has 2 ways to reach it (west and east). I used the challenging way to get that view.

I am glad to hear that. Thank you for watching and enjoy your trip.
This is so gorgeous! I was a bit skeptic of Mvytan due to the flies but the waterfalls more than make up.

I like your comments
Thank you.
I went on gravel road but snow closed road. I found a different road by accident and a longer snow hike.
Visiting that remote area in the snow is quite scary!
@@WandererBell I was afraid with 2wd ... I was stuck 3 days
I barely made it to opposite side.
You had great views of waterfalls
That remote area was scary in the summer let alone in the snow. You are so brave to go in the cold season.
@@WandererBell hotels cheaper and different scenery of snow
Thank you for the video. This brings back memories when I visited there when I was much younger. Thank you for bringing those memories back and sharing your adventure.
Thank you for the feedback and I am glad you enjoyed the video. These videos also help me search my mind for memories of the places I have been.
