- Wales and its mountains and water. This is taken from a rarely seen BBC documentary made in the late 1960s. Innovative in its day, it was filmed entirely from a helicopter. Better still is the intelligent and moving narrative by veteran English journalist Renee Cutforth, on the country and people of Wales - he never stops referring to Wales as foreign, but out of a mark of respect not contempt.
Love this area. I've been walking the Wye catchment and have been fortunate enough to be drawn to the Cambrians and Pumlumon in particular. Beautiful, rugged and mysterious...ATB Mark
Another great upload. Thanks Glyndwr65. Looking forward to watching more. So much easier than slogging through another book by Davies. Thanks again.
I agree, the Cambrian Mountains, and the whole of Mid Wales are a best kept secret.
I live about 25 Miles from Plylimon down on the Cambrian Coast.
Welsh name is pumlumon btw
the welsh are in no way foreign,,.,I am genetical historian....most english in fact has brythonic (welsh relation) ancestors...so the english culture is more foreign
