Thank you for taking us along my friend! Lovely walk as always, the sources of rivers seem magical somehow. It's always nice to meet your friends as well! Peace!
Hi there Cynthea, good to hear from you. It was a good one and the source had lots of energy and power latent within. Keith is a good man. Take care my friend - Mark
Really enjoyed the soundtrack and scenery in this one. So true that tolerance is such a key virtue with so many aspects of life. Glad to see you two finding the source and enjoying it. Thanks for sharing Mark
Thanks Amos, appreciated. Yeah tolerance levels - we can choose at what level we tolerate things. The source was great - my third route up. A couple more to go. The music came as natural as the walk. Take care over there. Mark
A fantastic adventure with Keith, I remember the trip with Mike. Commanding views of Wales from on top. Keith was taking about breathing in the air as an extension on the lungs. Such a awesome way to describe it all. Thanks Mark very enjoyable video. Trev
Hey there Trev, it was a great day out up at the source. You'd love it there - it's wild! Yeah like an expanding rib cage - we breathe all that space in. A pleasure to share with you. Take care bro. Mark
Another cracking video Mark - we’ll put together; love that countryside. Izzy was rocking to the Metal music playing air guitar 😂. ATB and thanks for taking us along.
Hiya Mark, a pleasure to bring you along on this one. It was another great time at the upper Wye. Thanks for the encouraging comment. Take care up there. Mark
Hi Mark, Nice one. There's just no keeping you away from the place is there! I have to agree with you and your friend Keith, the drive to this area is quite scenic and wild as you say. I love that area and intend to explore more of it. Fantastic view point from that trig and it's not too bad a climb to get to either. A pleasant and calming area. You can nicely lose yourself up there on a warm and sunny day. ATB Team Bates.
Hey there friend, no I will return time and again. It's a special place to me. My twin brother Paul rand I wild camped up there and explored it and I have good memories in them there mountains. Not only that, and as you muted, It's simply spectacular the views and space especially in summer. The climb is a pleasant one. Thanks for that - a great comment. I received your message. For some reason I didn't know how to respond. I'll change that today. All the best and have a great weekend. Mark
Multidimensional h20 Mark, so well put and our wonderful Wye is a part of that. Folks of today on average are less robust than our ancestors. You and Keith are wonderful walk partners, great to watch and listen to with a stunning soundtrack to match the Cambrian's. Thank you for another adventure shared with memories made. Paul :)
Yes indeed Paul a very versatile element is water as you know. Keith is a good friend - he's a life guard down the pool. We've known each other many years. And he loves wild camping and adventure. So a good union! He's also a fantastic thinker. Them Cambrians Paul are wild - very different to the Beacons. I recommend them mate. You'd love it! Well, thanks for the comment. A pleasure to share. Until the woodland. Take care. Mark
Wye Explorer Yes Mark, Keith certainly gives off a good vibe, a kindred soul and I agree, a visit to the Cambrian's and the source of our beloved Wye is a must for me in the near future. Yes, until the woodlands :)
Sorry for the delay Paul. Keith is a good man....a good friend to us both. If you go to the upper Wye and are inspired to contact me please do - I'd love that...a wild camp maybe also. If not solo is good Paul or with Nick. Either way you'll have a fab time. Just left a message on your phone. Peace!
Hello Mark. Great seeing you earlier and catching up. Thank you for the cuppa. Wonderful to hear the whispers from spirit making contact with you and you receiving them loud and clear :) Keith like you Mark is a good soul with a good heart. We can discuss an upper Wye walk and camp together when we visit the permission woodland in the next week or two. Peace to you also Mark :)
Just got around to this Paul. It was a really good chat - i enjoyed it. Yes, Keith is a higher soul. You'd like him Paul. Yeah talk adventure and mountains in the wilds of Wales and at the wild heart of the Wye. I look forward to that. Take care....
Simply put, bloody excellent Mark. I really enjoyed this, well presented, informative and inspirational just perfect. Looking forward to catching up with all the content on your channel brother ✊️👊♠️👌✨
hey there bro, a big thank you for the encouraging feedback and comment. I think it was the enjoyment of the environment that was translated into the edit. I love it up there. Take care my friend and be well. Mark
Hey there Matt, yes it was fabulous up there once again. I do love this part of Wales. Just popped in here. Still watching your video in full. Thanks for the comment here. Appreciated very much. Take care...back to yours now. Mark
Cracking episode Mark. I have never ventured up to Plynlimon but I must put that right. Always enjoy your thoughts and banter and Keith looks to be a good companion for your walks. Your musical taste is something that I am always surprised by.. all in a good way. ATB Alan
Morning Alan, I think you would love the Upper Wye and the Cambrians - they have this wildness about them that the Beacons for example don't have. Keith is a good man - I swim and he life guards in Hereford. Yeah, my music is like my dear brother Paul's taste p eclectic! Take care and have a good weekend. Mark
Hi Mike. I do what I have to do. If that means making these kinds of video then has to be shared. It's who I am inside. And of course the Wye is inside me to. It was good up there. I hope you're well - health that is. Take care as always. Mark
Another beautifully put together video from yourself.Stunning views throughout.People back in the day were certainly more resilient with coping with the ever changing elements up on the hills.Fascinating seeing the source of the wye.Thank you for sharing, have a great bank holiday,ATVB to you Paula & Adrian👌😊
Hey there Paula and Adrian, many thanks for the positive thoughts. Always encouraging. Yeah some hardy people about - we give them a moment. As Abitrary Exploration said most walk passed it. I like to take people there. A pleasure to share....you to have a great weekend. I'm sure you're going to. All the best. Mark
Nice relaxing vid and it’s always good to throw the boots on and go for a yomp into the hills to forget about life and troubles that are part of life. Brilliant mate enjoyed that and hope you’re good ATB Steve
Hey there Steve, it sure is good to get them boots on and get up and out there. Things sure do dissolve. Many thanks for the comment. I'm sorry about not seeing your videos come through but I will come on over now and support one or two. Tale care. Mark
Stunning in any weather , some folk from my town used to walk over 10 miles to work in a textile mill for 14 hours then walk back I’d love to find the source of the Tweed another fine River like the Wye, amazing how rivers start with just a drip 💧 best wishes man
Hey there Macey, it is good weather show or not. I agree with you on what people were willing to do back in the day. Time was different for them. I encourage you to find the Tweeds source. You'll love tracking it down and you'll never see the river in the same way again. Take care out there. Mark
Hi Mark and Keith.Out on the hills fab. Great views wild weather. Heavy AGA [stoves] thats what i use to fit in houses. Great music great video take William.
*_Hello Mark, this is another great story from you, accompanied by Keith. A fantastic, but also stormy adventure (you are used to this weather, for me it would have been too uncomfortable..... ;-) laugh). Beautiful stories, as far as I could understand and translate them. Good mentions for Alan, he was pleased. I would never eat this glibbery frog mass, rather take other protein... so with some chocolate around it :)))))))))) Mark, the music is awesome, everything fits, you have created moods with it, the video made very expressive, I am very enthusiastic again! Have a great Sunday, all the best wishes for you, best regards, Angela_*
Good morning Angela, it's a wet morning here but beautiful. As you say I seem to like these stormy days but you accept what you're given. I'm really happy to hear from you again - your encouraging words are always taken on board. Yes, this was a great walk with Keith a friend of Paul's to. We both love out music - you choose some great stuff to. I was a rave DJ for many years and I think the ability to choose right comes from that. Well, many thanks again Angela. I wish you all the best today whatever you do. Take care as always. Mark
*_...I agree with you, we both like the music and are always looking for the right works for our videos to reinforce a certain expression :))))) All the best for you Mark, best regards, Angela_*
For one horrible moment I thought you were going to go all 'Bear Grylls' on us and take a bite of that frog spawn. Very enjoyable, I'd hazard to say one of your best edited videos to date. The views and captures were excellent.....the music fitted perfectly. Great job all round Mark :)
Hi Si. Ha ha! Well, I spared you that knowing it may turn some stomachs. In truth I didn't need it! I'm glad you liked it. The time out was fabulous....you know the remote moors. They're simply invigorating! As for the music the tunes chose themselves in a way. Many thanks Si. Take care out there. mark
Finaly got around to watching Mark. Reminds me very much of Upper Teesdale. Walking to the Wye source in a few weeks time. To complete the Wye Valley Walk which i done in sections over a couple of years . Take care
Hi there Martin, really good to hear from you. I take it you enjoyed the video. If so great. I'm really pleased to hear you're up there soon. You'll love it and I think the weather will be good - well may be! All the best with it. I hope you do a video. Take care. Mark
Hello Mark! Finally getting around to commenting on this. I was out for a couple hikes last week during my days off. Unfortunately no video. Maybe next time. Definitely a positive feeling every time I watch you on your adventures. You really rocked this one 🤘 Thanks for the rockin good vibes my friend.
Hey there Darren, good to hear from you.Good to hear you've been out. I can appreciate a busy time. Do you know what I try to be positive but life in the back end can be hard. I get nervous on camera and start again and delete stuff. That's the thing about life - it can be illusory. But yeah generally loving out there Darren. It's where I feel at home like yourself. You liked the Judas Priest cover at the end then. It was fitting! Take care bro. Mark
Great fun tracking the source of a river... really interesting.. reminds me of my home of Invercargill...most street names (incl Wye st) are named after welsh and scott rivers
Hi Steve, thanks for the comment. That's interesting that the Wye is present in some shape or form over there. Yeah it is fun locating the sources of them. I know you like the water - plenty of it in New Zealand. Take care over there. Mark
Hi Mark. It was good to meet you and Andy on the Wye Valley Walk last week, near Hay on Wye. I enjoyed Merbach Hill. Two days later I also enjoyed the mountain walk into Builth Wells, as you said I would. I'm planning to complete the Wye Valley Walk next summer. For completeness I also want to visit the source of the Wye, so this video is very useful. Thank you. Have you ever tried to follow the Wye from the source to meet up with the Wye Valley Walk path?
Hi Mark. Good to hear from you and yes I agree it was great to meet up. So glad you enjoyed that Builth stretch. The look back towards the Black Mountains is epic and the valley below both towards Builth and away is beautiful. I enjoyed Merbach to - steep the other side. Glad the video is useful. As for the Wye source and path I've done it twice all the way through from the top up and down. It's impressive - I recommend it. In fact in the video regarding this last walk I showcase it somewhat. Any way, hope you do it to. Take care and hope to see you again. Mark
Always astounding that from a few drips and a trickle a mighty river can unfold. As you say Mark, those lead miners would have been hardy folk,i feel the same when i walk among the tin and copper mines here and try to picture what their lives would have been like, punishing for the most i'd imagine. That looked a good chilled hike with an equally chilled Keith.Hope all's well mate.
Morning Andy, I trust you're well. Yes, it all comes from the vastness of space itself. Seemingly not there but there. I know what you mean about the working miners who labored. You have to spare them a thought - it was a hard and punishing life as you rightly say. As for the hike Andy it's what healing is made of. Just feels good! Many thanks my friend. Take care. Mark
I really like the feel of this one, Mark and you appear to be in a good place throughout. I hope to make the journey there myself, sometime this year. I find it quite humbling, to see the source of the Wye and to think of what it soon becomes. It could just have easily have amounted to nothing at all, I imagine. All the best to you.
Morning Olly, good to hear from you. I always feel better when out in the wilds Olly - much like yourself. I encourage you to go mate. I think you'll love the Upper Wye and or Cambrians. Very different to the Beacons as mentioned in the video. Yes, from tiny atoms and so forth. Many thanks again my friend. Hope to walk again this year. Mark
Thanks, Mark. I'm actually heading to the Black Mountains tomorrow for a 16 mile hike but also have a 10 mile route from Llanthony in mind for another day... Maybe see you then? Possibly in July, as I'm pretty busy for the next month.
Have a great time tomorrow Olly. I think you got the weather on your side. I was up there last week on the North West escarpment - had an excellent time. I'm sure you will to. Llanthony sounds like a plan. I'll email. Take care and have a brilliant day. Mark
Beautiful up there Mark, you were both definitely rockin' on Plynlimon! :) From my point of view it was really nice to see the countryside around where the Wye starts. Looks really spectacular and I love all that bleak mountain moorland. I did laugh at the bit where you were pointing to Keith then Plynlimon then the snow! :) You sure would have got good vibes up there and I did watching this. Nice one Mark, always good to watch you. Cheers, Patrick :)
Sure was rock n roll on top there Patrick. We had another fabulous time. You would have a great time up there Patrick - just your kind of place to explore. Ha ha - Plynlimon Keith Snow! It was a vibe and just shows how much snow they had up there. Well, have a great weekend. I'm sure you'll do something inspiring. Take care. Mark
I must make a point of getting there sometime Mark, so yes it would be lovely to visit when I can. You have a great weekend too Mark, it's going to be a good one! All the best to you. Cheers, Patrick :)
Nice hike with your friend, foggy and downcast, but that never stopped me from going. I'll skip on that gelatin rock, I have enough protein. lol. Big Thumbs Up! Thanks guys. Still some snow hanging around nice.
It was a good one bro. And no never stopped me neither. You can always dry off. I guess you wouldn't mind the protein if it was the only source. Our values shift then. Ha ha! Thanks for the contribution and your thoughts. Take care as always. Mark
When H2o meet with the Metals in the Mountains then there is.. Rust! Well you and Kieth were far from rusty following that discharge of the negative ions and all in all, a positive hike. Love the source videos Mark, seen a few now and hey always inspire some ideas for me to follow up soon. Those Lead men of the past they were tough and lots of rivalry between the men of the mines as they scrambled to find the best veins down there. And of toughness, then even on the surface, just the dry stone walls has me in awe at the effort and hard work behind them. Hope to be out soon and release some negative energy that life had to put on thy head with the outcome being a film or two to stir up some debate haha. ATB Stehen.
Morning Stephen. I like that mat - metals in the mountains. And yeah red sandstone full of rust! Thank you for your encouraging thoughts. I will be getting to know the source of the Wye with a view to hiking the river this year. It's preparation in all truth and because I love it there. Yeah them guys that worked the mines - another Universe. Mind you there is still hard labor in the world. I really look forward to your next few outings Stephen - you know I like your videos and them debates. Take care my friend. Mark
oohhh.. my god.. I am not here yet.. so sorry and I am here now... always .. breathing ooommm like in Yoga.. positive energy .. cleaning the body.. always love the landscape there Mark. and I join Alan Metalman too
The river doesn't start with a gush or an rush, but with a trickle. There is something about life in there. Anyways, great trip! Definitely want to travel over there sometime for a couple hikes. Those frog eggs interested me.
Never visited Cambrian mountain's And after seeing you fantastic video of the river Wye source I must visit that area Great video thanks for sharing ATB ALAN GREGORY
Hi Mark, Just starting to catch up - I have been away from UA-cam for a little bit, things have been rather busy with the change of job and some family stuff going on. Hopefully I'll have a bit more time now. But this was a fantastic video to come back to, a stunning part of the country. The photography and editing absolutely superb mate, there were shots that could have come straight out of Game of Thrones. And great to see s destination revisited from a different perspective, the end of the snow and the frogspawn on the go, what better symbols of the transition of the seasons. Top notch music there by the way :))) Thanks for sharing, take care mate. All the best, rich.
Hi there Rich - good to hear from you. I know how life can get my friend. Things take a turn and you have to re-establish yourself. It takes a lot of effort. I hope things are beginning to make sense. It is beautiful and rough and wild up there. I did my best on the photography whilst on the move and of course I always try with the editing. As for going back I will be back again to explore more routes. Thanks for the visit Rich - it was a pleasure to share. Have a great week. Mark
Cheers Mark, yes, things are getting back on an even keel. All part of life's rich tapestry, the job move was the right thing, but you are right about it being an effort, a move is always a shake up after the hum-drum of the status quo. Take care and have a great week yourself, too. rich.
Yeah - I'm trying to get together with Chris. My brother Paul, myself and Chris camped some while ago in 2015. It was a great meeting sista and I've never forgotten it. Getting together again would be brilliant with you to.
Enjoyed this one over breakfast. Looks like you got slightly different conditions up there compared to what I experienced. Must check out the source of the Wye next time I visit. I did get to the Severn last year. Cheers.
Thanks for the visit Dan. Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, a bit wet but our noses aren't upside down are they? It's a beautiful little source. The views are majestic. Peace.
Thanks Theo. I love it up there. My mate Keith had a good time and Paul was simply inspired. The source of the river gives you good vibes and images in the mind. Take care. Mark
Awesome video Mark! Great having Keith there bringing some metal to the adventure. I was waiting for you guys to eat the frog slime lol. Great shout out 🤘🏼. Great edit and music. Thanks brother!
Hey there Doug, it was good having some metal in the mountain. Maybe have Frog spawn next time. Ha ha! The shout out was natural for a great youtuber. All the best over there. Mark
Hi mate🌳🌳👋🏻😊👋🏻🌳🌳 A brilliant adventure, the views are absolutely breathtaking! Hey I actually thought you two were going to try eating some frog spawn lol! Yes man and woman were of tougher stuff back in the days long gone👍🏻 Only the toughest survived. Fantastic adventure with awesome music with two top blokes. Exellent video, thouroughly enjoyed watching Atvb Mike
Thanks Mike for the encouraging words. You'd love it up there mate - the Cambrians are rugged and wild. No Frog spawn this time but there is always another day. I must say the industrial history makes you think - a bit like the black country. Many thanks again. Take care and keep stealthy. Mark
Brilliant video Mark, your right about the old lead miners, tough as old nail😁, we have all got a bit soft nowadays. You would have to be pretty desperate to eat that frog spawn, but if it's a matter of survival, you're not gonna say no. Thanks for sharing.ATB jim
Hi Jim, they sure were tough guys. And yeah things have gotten easier making people like jelly. I'm like you - I wouldn't mind eating frog spawn at all now or in a survival situation. Many thanks. Have a great weekend. Mark
Hi there Dave, yeah the source of rivers are always magical - as for the frog spawn I mat try some one day. Not opposed to that. Thanks for the comment. Take care. Mark
I remember that video you did with Mike, similar sort of weather as well as I remember. Looks completely deserted and agree, people did seem to be a lot tougher in days gone by but then again, I guess they did not have much choice, maybe too much choice for people in todays world. Never heard of that Festival Mark but we went to Bloodstock for about 5 years in a row until they increased the capacity and ticket price about 4 years ago, so I said I would not go again unless they had Judas Priest on headlining and guess what, the Priest are headlining this year! We will only do one day, as my mother who is 87 is not very well and depending on how that goes we may not get at all but I would love to see the Priest live again (that was a canny cover by the way). Thank you very much for the shout out Mark, I really appreciate it and your marra seemed a canny lad as well - two of a kind! Cheers Alan
Agree people adapt and they can live in very harsh conditions...I watch some of these reality TV shows and think....have you ever been to Fiji they live this way every day never think twice about not having running water or electricity....
Too true, we are born into cotton wool today, in the Western world and it is nice that people do not have to suffer like others still do today in other areas but I wonder how many people actually appreciate and are thankful for what they do have. Cheers Alan
Yes you're right Alan, it was stormy weather last time. Good though as you know! Hey they don't call it the 'desert of Wales' for nothing Alan. It's vast on the tops there. It gives you a thrill! The Priest? Now that's awesome they're playing live this year and headlining. I've been listening to them recently. Have a great time at the event. The shout out was a pleasure - it came out natural like! Well, thanks for the view and comment. Appreciated. Take care for now. Mark
Yes friend, humans are very adaptable. We are animals and will survive whatever conditions were exposed to within certain limits of course. Take care. Mark
Great video and wanted to mention you do a great job looking into the camera while you are talking....and you did not fall down which would be a plus for me if I tried it :)
Never been via that route up there - a great day out to the source. The source looked a wee bit dry for winter though .... Yup, people used to be more hardy didn't they ? You only need to look at Shackleton's south pole men. Cheers, dave
hey there Dave, good day yesterday. As I said it was fabulous. I even remembered you up there. Yeah hardy folk - still a few around. Guess what. The bus driver yesterday went like the clappers. When I got into Hereford her said he was over Half hour late and that his scheduled time was 4.25 PM. I said I was going to catch that one but on account of a timetable I had dated 2014 I opted for 5.05 PM. He said it was my lucky day. How about that? I would have been walking home. Ha ha! As I said good time out Dave. Take care. Mark
Nice hiking mark, nice point on H20. We are positioned in exactly the right part of the galaxy so that water can exist in its various states on our earthly home. How cool is that. The chance of this happening by a fluke is 10 to the power of 78, more atoms than in the galaxy and beyond. Does that get you thinking. Water is awesome.
Morning Shane, Yes my friend water is an awesome substance. Mind you water is of the vastness we see - creation if you like. I like the idea Shane that water is sentient and has awareness as Masaru Emoto in his experiments demonstrates. I resonate with your questions and thoughts my friend. Take care. Mark.
Nice viddy as usual Mark, I've only been to Wales once back when we had a heatwave in the 70's, I should really get out more and discover Wales. Just a tad far from me. I'm near Gatwick Airport. :-( Lee.
Hi there Lee, I encourage a visit to Wales mate. If you ever want to meet up just give me a call. If not and solo no worries! Glad you liked the video - it was another good day out. All the best. Mark
Just caught this as we're thinking of bringing the van up to Nant y Moch and climbing Plylumon this weekend. A mountain I've never done. Looks a nice wild area...wind farms excepted! What a pity the Cambrian Mountains were never declared a NP-as was proposed- as these precious areas could have been protected .
Hey there friend. That's good to hear. I love this area of Wales and Plynlimon especially. It is nice and wild and knowing you you'll have a great time up there weather show or not. As for the Cambrians as an N.P there was a campaign - still is silently I think. It would be good. All the best. Mark
Fantastic walk, with amazing views, you look as if you can see for miles up there. Those lead miners must have been incredible resilient people. Don’t fancy eating frog spawn though! Nice shoutout for Alan’s channel, love watch his walks as well. All the best Sarah & Andrew :)
Hi Sarah and Andrew, great to hear from you. The views are amazing there - all the way up to Snowdonia and back. Them miners are a bit like the ones in Cornwall 0 hardy folk. Hey how about you do a mining walk. That would be good. The frog spawn will have be for another day. I have no problems eating just don't need it! Alan is a good chap. Take care both. Mark
Great Video . First question is the Wye river route sign posted. Secondly when eating frogspawn do you cook it first . Will be watching more videos. Research as the Wye river is on my list . Lisa 🙏
I didn't ask you to watch this Lisa. It meant a lot to me for you to watch the requested video-my late twin brother was in it and it was a great river/mountain hike. Thing is you haven't even responded to the comment that contains the link shared - that's been ignored totally and utterly. It demonstrates something in you to defy a simple share in this way. The Wye - it's on your list is it? All the best.
Hi Mark, Wales looks a lot like our South Island New Zealand mountain ranges. Great footage really enjoyed the video. Soak in all that positive energy. Maybe need to film eating the frog eggs next time hahaha. Newly subscribed to your channel hope we can support each other going forward. Thank you for dropping by ours too :)
hey there dude. Great to hear from you. Yes, loads of positive vibes in this part of wales. And I guess it is like the South island mountains - a load of sheep there. We can support each other for sure. I subbed yesterday so already on it. Thanks for stopping by. All the best. Mark
Hi Christopher, Good to hear from you. Yeah the boring believe in it. Them river sources especially the Wye certainly has a warmth to it. Like returning home! I remember bath as a kid. Take care out there. Mark
Visit to enjoy the adventures. Great views. Beautiful landscapes. I love it. While bringing the full L & S package to support the channel. If you wish, please visit and also support our channel. Thank you in advance. Warm regards.
Wow great archive with visuals and contents! I live on Vancouver Island, and posting my outdoor memories to UA-cam, I would love it if you can check out some of my works as well. Keep up the great posts !
bloody place always makes me feel so depressed it's such a overgrazed degraded area...doesnt ender me to sheep, the people who grow them or the people who eat them. Such a beautiful place, such potential so utterly decimated for greed...sorry mate still good to see you :)
hey I feel you maaan. Do be so done in by sheep. One spoke to me in English once while I was on Cid. Completely rocked my mind. love it up there and I noticed the sheep, the land and everything else. Yes, man has touched the place through sheep but I still get a thrill out of the mountains. All the best. Mark
fu.king things i pulled one out of a bog once it was freezing cold, thing was up to it's shoulders in the mud dying.... got all shitty pulling it out saved it's life bloody thing goes straight back in!...glad to hear there exellent conversationalists....lovely day hear m8 warm as toast hope your enjoying it :)
Yeah good English speakers although i didn't catch what it said. I think about it to this day. They do impact upon the environment but nice with a plate of chips or few veg...
ive had thing like that happen a lot but i walk those path's ..had a dream once that the king of the willow trees invited me into his kingdom and six months later i found myself upside down clambering across one to get to a island that the river had created in a raging storm...chips and veg you c..t :)
Always a delight to see a Wye Explorer video trickle out of the tube!
Thank you Mark and Keith the Beef,
Tim
Hey there Tim, many thanks. Always good to hear from you. I hope you're feeling well. Take care. Mark
As always Mark a total tonic ! Thank you.
Thanks Martyn. I'm glad it was a pick me up. Take care...Mark
Mark
Magnificent scenery beautifully captured Mark, a real pleasure to watch.
Anthony.
Hi Anthony, thank you so much for watching. Like yourself I get a real life affirming vibe when out amid the space and nature. Take care. Mark
Yeh! Good to hear you rocking some metal!
hey there Adam, yeah maaan rocking on Plynlimon. It was a good mosh about the mountain. Take care. Mark
You found the source! Awesome! It would be something that most people would walk right past.
I've been up there a few times but your right most would pass it by and not know it's there. I like to take people to it. Many thanks. Mark
What a fantastic walk. Some great music also. Stunningly beautiful. Atb phil
Hi Phil, many thanks. It was fantastic for sure - the music showed itself! Take care my friend.
Mark
A great hike, excellent video and music as always.
Hey there, thanks for the comment and for watching. It was a good one. I trust you're well. Mark
Excellent and great Video, Mark! Beautiful landscape !!!
Hi Yvonne, thanks for watching. The landscape up there is definitely inspiring. All the best. Mark
Nice day out that Mark thanks for taking us along with you regards Matt :-)
Mark
Inspirational, a great day out in the wilderness thanks Mark.
Thank you Mick. I appreciate that. Take care. Mark
Mark, I have to say this is your best work yet. The editing is spot on. Those frog eggs were a neat find.
Hey there Josh, thanks mate. I think it was the environment that drew it out of me. All the best. Mark
Nice road trip, great nature hike, Thanks friend! liked!
Thanks there Phillip. Always appreciated. All the best. Mark
God that terrain and views are beautiful, great video mark "magical " TC chris.
You'd be well stoked up there Chris. The Upper Wye is wild with lods of great views. Wales does it again. Take care up there. Mark
Amazing views man thanks for sharing! The soundtrack WORKS proper good vibes from this vid, gonna update my playlist for the commute!
A pleasure to share my friend. I'm chuffed it's dome something for your playlist. It was a good one. Take care out there. Mark
Nice film as always from you Mark, so very well done. Cheers ⛺️
Mark
Wye Explorer we have had a wonderful weekend Mark thank you.You too have a great week,ATVB to you Paula & Adrian.
Ahh that's good to hear. It was nice. The link doesn't work - I presume it's a video. Peace!
Tale care. Mark
Wye Explorer ha ha dnt worry about it just keep doing what you’re doing and enjoy the outdoors whilst inspiring people 👌.
Cheers Steve, yeah keep on keeping on seeking life. Have a great weekend.
Hi William, thank you my friend. Yeah i love the views up there....lots of space! The AGA sure is heavy metal. Take care. Mark
You do crazy cool adventures!!! Love this!!
It's good and wild up there. All the best. Mark
Good video Mark - inspiring us to get out again
Hey thanks Rob, I'm glad it inspired you. It's good up there. Take care. Mark
A good way of putting it Angela. Peace!
Take care. Mark
That looked like a great day out mark. I wish I had places like that closer to me. But you make the most of what you have atb mo
It certainly was Mo and Gill. I'd love to see you make it over there. You'd be thrilled. Thanks for the comment guys. Mark
Hello Mark! Finally getting around to commenting on this. I was out for a couple hikes last week during my days off. Unfortunately no video. Maybe next time.
Definitely a positive feeling every time I watch you on your adventures.
You really rocked this one 🤘
Thanks for the rockin good vibes my friend.
Mark
I hear ya brother. You should make an Instagram account and post some pics of your adventures as well. I’m on there if you do. Take care ✌️
Your the second person that's said that Darren. I shall have to look into it. Take care...
Mark
Likeeeeeeeee for you my friend Thanks for sharing🙏🌸🌸🌸🌸
Thanks a lot Marg. Big thumbs up back to you. Mark
Cheers, Patrick :)
hey Patrick just got this. Maybe explore together at some point the Upper Wye. I'd like that. Take care my friend. Have a good one...
Mark
oohhh.. my god.. I am not here yet.. so sorry and I am here now... always .. breathing ooommm like in Yoga.. positive energy .. cleaning the body.. always love the landscape there Mark. and I join Alan Metalman too
Hi Senja, yes like yoga and the ohm! I like that! The landscape is rugged here. Thanks for the comment. All the best as always. Mark
The river doesn't start with a gush or an rush, but with a trickle. There is something about life in there. Anyways, great trip! Definitely want to travel over there sometime for a couple hikes. Those frog eggs interested me.
Hi there Nate, it is but a drip up there. Awesome! You would love Wales my friend. Rugged and wild country. All the best. Mark
Never visited Cambrian mountain's
And after seeing you fantastic video of the river Wye source I must visit that area
Great video thanks for sharing ATB ALAN GREGORY
Ho Gregory, thanks for watching mate. You would like the Cambrian Mountains. They are rugged and beautiful . All the best. Mark
Yeah after watching you're vids its on my list for the future
Keep up the great videos you produce
Cheers Alan Gregory
If you're down here I'm happy to hike and camp. Peace!
Fab!! Cracking clip. 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey there Bach. Many thanks. It was a good one out. Mark
Hi Mark,
Just starting to catch up - I have been away from UA-cam for a little bit, things have been rather busy with the change of job and some family stuff going on.
Take care and have a great week yourself, too. rich.
It is part of the tapestry for sure Rich. Of course I've moved recently to so i had the empathy. I will do my best to take care. You to....
Great hike..Stunning area ,I need to do Wales one day :)
Hey Sists - it is stunning and you have to visit. Ask Chris to bring you down - we could all camp. Take care. Mark
Wye Explorer. Sounds like a plan 😀👍
Peace.
Needs a lot of imagination Mark when you arrive at the source :)) To see de Wye! Relax walk Guys I like that :)) Thank you, Mark ...Theo,
Thanks Theo. I love it up there. My mate Keith had a good time and Paul was simply inspired. The source of the river gives you good vibes and images in the mind. Take care. Mark
Thanks :) Mark !
Pleasure Theo as always. Peace!
Mark
Hi mate🌳🌳👋🏻😊👋🏻🌳🌳
A brilliant adventure, the views are absolutely breathtaking! Hey I actually thought you two were going to try eating some frog spawn lol!
Yes man and woman were of tougher stuff back in the days long gone👍🏻 Only the toughest survived.
Fantastic adventure with awesome music with two top blokes.
Exellent video, thouroughly enjoyed watching
Atvb
Mike
Mark
Great video always nice to see the source of big rivers, bottled it on the frog spawn tho lol dont blame you mind.
atb Dave
Hi there Dave, yeah the source of rivers are always magical - as for the frog spawn I mat try some one day. Not opposed to that. Thanks for the comment. Take care. Mark
Cheers Mark that would be great and much appreciated.
Cheers Alan Gregory 👍
That's OK Gregory. Have a good one!
Take care. Mark
yeah I like the Priest Nick!
Great video and wanted to mention you do a great job looking into the camera while you are talking....and you did not fall down which would be a plus for me if I tried it :)
Thank you my friend. I do get nervous mate. Sometimes I have to scrub things. Take care over there. Mark
Nervous is what keeps us safe...... like maybe I should be careful.....Nah :)
Mark
Only the boring get bored.
The source, where the river springs from the rock, is always good to visit. Bath has a hot one.
Thank you for stopping by. It's appreciated! I'll definitely take a look at what you're doing. All the best. Mark
Wow great archive with visuals and contents! I live on Vancouver Island, and posting my outdoor memories to UA-cam, I would love it if you can check out some of my works as well. Keep up the great posts !
Hey there, thanks for the comment. You live on an incredible island. I will explore happily. Take care. Mark
bloody place always makes me feel so depressed it's such a overgrazed degraded area...doesnt ender me to sheep, the people who grow them or the people who eat them.
