You need to double check all your wiring. Hook up the data log to it. And hook up a transmission pressure gauge to watch to see what its doing. Depending on your wiring harness, you may have to reverse the polarity on the 2-3 solenoid. Common mistake with swaps… good chance its in limp mode starting in 2nd… easy way to confirm this is to unplug the trans connector. It’ll run a max pressure. But you’ll see if it engages the gears.
Assuming you have it installed properly(converter spacing is right, shifter linkage is set correctly to go into all gears(make sure you watch the data log of the gears to be sure the computer is seeing the same gear it’s actually in). From there, Its all in your tune… you need to tinker with the timing settings by raising the advance off the line. and the TCC lockup settings, assuming you’re running the factory GM PCM. I’d stop messing with the trans brake and the 2-step until you can at least get that thing to spool on the foot brake first. Make sure you have the proper brake switch on the pedal to apply and release. It could be starting in 2nd. 80e’s are notorious for this
We’re running a Holley terminator x not a gm pcm. I explain in some later videos that the issue was actually in the transmission itself I had sent it out to be fixed and the company that “fixed” it somehow messed the transmission up. Long story short I now have a new transmission and it shift’s great a huge difference then what I was dealing with back then.
What is the brand of the billet stall? Are you sure the 3200 was even a lock up stall a lot of cheap ones omit the clutch.... Are you saying you had to have it fixed again after mad dog?

Awesome work staying with it and being so motivated!!!!
Well get it !
Better luck next time!

I was expecting mangled front cv shafts. Hopefully you can get the transmission squared away quickly.
I wish would be a cooler video! We’ll be back at the track soon!
