I believe it's the final dlc, when no other updates happen.

Repentance is planning to get post dlc updates, the biggest planned being a void and delirium rework and a new alt floor for one of the new Repentance floors.
Of course, it's very possible that the updates never end up happening, so don't get your hopes up. But they do still have content that was planned for release that Vihn still wants to add

I love how it gives a sense of sadness and loneliness with the scarce use of instruments, along with the vocals this one definitely strays from "intense" to "alone"

First impression: the lack of heavy percussion will be a nice change of pace when booting up the game. It changes the vibe from threatening to somber.

The original flash game music felt very somber to me. It coined this weird genre of punk rock that you could only describe as “definitely a soundtrack to matricide”.
In Rebirth/AB, the music was still amazing in a different way, but it felt so video-gamey.
So far, Repentance music feels like such a nice mix.

Un-fucking-believable . Gave me goosebumps when this started playing. Undoubtedly haunting, and it shows how many years have passed, that this small boy is still running down into hellish depths beneath to escape his mother and the inner melancholic darkness of his mind and soul. From a small demo crafted with Adobe Flash Player and put onto Newgrounds, to one if not the most influential Rogue-Likes of the century. I've been along for the ride all this time, and its been a damn honor indeed.

They all fit the vibe so well when u start up the game especially when rebirth released, how the song hit when i first booted up the game was undescribable so fresh in a way, all these themes go so well after each other.

I love how throught the dlc the main theme wasn't simply replaced, but evolved. All of the key parts are still there yet it feels different. good theme

Been a fan for a huge amount of time and this song really enforces the finality of this dlc. This game has came a long way indeed and I’m happy to have been through it.

genesis 22:10 has always been my absolute favourite menu song in any video game ever, i had high doubts that repentance would be able to top the afterbirth version, well damn they somehow made it better.

When seeing this art, I came up with a whole other theory.
All the items Isaac finds are just items he finds interesting while stuck in the basement, the more items he finds the more he gets to know about stuff he shouldn't know (at his age AND more darker stuff), wich makes him dig deeper into madness.

Was never a big fan of the new title screen music that Afterbirth brought, but this track is a genuine 10/10

Since i was a kid i play iseec and i never thought I would hear the soundtrack for repentance and its just beautiful
absolutely incredible. the tracks from repentance that have been released have the highest level of consistent quality of the entire OST by far.
I can't wait for the release anymore when I listen to this. I love it!

Oh my god this sounds freaking amazing, I absolutely can’t wait to try this game out
I reaaallly like this one. It carries a sobering tone of finality. It also makes it have more of a flash feeling because that title screen was also aiming for a tragic feeling as opposed to Rebirth and Afterbirth’s more “epic” vibe for lack of a better term.
Also, the White Pony being a two charge item, even with the holy lights not appearing in random spots, feels really powerful. I already take it a lot of the time as is so that’s cool.
They did a very good job in making bad items from rebirth actually good
heck, even tiny planet got some love with new powerful synergies. Mom's knife+tiny planet is so fun to play

This theme is both calm, sad, chaotic and unerving all at the same time, perfect.
Good to know that Repentance will not just be a sequel to Rebirth, but an ode to the flash games. Just like Antibirth was in a way.
Man. Its almost hard to believe that repentance is so close. I remember when it was only a rumor and there was barely any info on what was going on until like august-september of this year
It'll be out any moment now, this small crying child has come a long way.

It would be neat if the Menu used all of the Versions of Genesis the more you progressed through the game. It could start with Normal Genesis, then when you beat mom for the fifth time of when you unlock " It's Alive!" it could switch to Regenesis, and when you beat Mega Satan or Delirium it finishes off with Genesis II.
Either that or Different sections of the Menu could do that.

Fun fact:
The music that plays during the ascent to the true final boss is this song, but backwards, and remixed with some added drum, guitar, and bass layers. This "Ascent Version" is also not on the official soundtrack, which is just CRIMINAL, because its one of the best songs in Repentence.
