This is a great way to get a rectangular art deco dress watch for way less than a Cartier tank for example! Does it hit the sweet spot for sizing, price and specification?

I love the "Söner" name! Although I'm probably a bit partial as I am Swedish. And I appreciate that the watch is also available as an automatic with seconds hand and a date function.
As for the watch itself I do wish it were a little smaller and had some sort of pattern on the dial. My first thought when I saw it was that it was an AliExpress watch...

I recently ordered a red dial version of this one (Legacy) for my better half.
I never liked the Cartier Tank. I always thought (erroneously) it was for old women in country clubs. I’ve done a complete 180, and now I definitely want one. Not the Cartier of course. This one is a stunner. I like all the colors and that curved case back. Wow. Thanks for the great review. Always enjoy learning about brands I did not know about.
That's a nice budget tank watch indeed. Thanks for showing it. I recently bought a Lip "Churchill" t24 which is also a good alternative with a bit of history attached to it.

A lot of great Squares out there Dan - but yes this is very nice and youre getting the Swiss watch. Not the Chrono strap however
I would buy it with the steel bracelet for no extra cost and then buy a few straps that I like for the watch.

I got a Seiko Tank (SUP880). It is quartz but also has no seconds hand (Roman numerals & cabochon crown), it is incredibly thin, is overall much smaller than this one, has the Cartier look and NOT the ballooning Seiko prices of more popular models.
Fyi speaking of tank watches I tried on a JLC Reverso Duoface this weekend and was shocked about two things: 1) how thick it was and 2) that when you change the face you have to take the watch off and turn it around to wear and to read it ... plus the one I had on had a deployment clasp that I did not enjoy at all.
I must check out the Seiko, I've had my eye on one for a long time now. Thanks for your comment.

Do they have white dial with blue hands?
To be honest, I don't like this watch because it looks basic. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's not. Here, there is no real aesthetic elements to bright it up. Any cheap chinese watch could look like it 🤷♂ For example, I much prefer the LIP T18.
You don't save anything because you don't get the real deal. It's an alternative. Söner looks great but they made the typical mistake with 200 different designs to choose from instead of 2 sizes and 2-4 colors.
Fair points, there are people who like variety though. It's a good option for people wanting an interesting rectangular watch they may have not known about before.
Save save save and buy the original! You will always crave for the real deal. No buyers remorse…

There are literally bazillions of vintage tank watches on eBay and other sites. For this money you can get a really nice one...

Lip Churchill T18. This one isn't bad, but it seems to be too expensive for no reason.
Maybe due to smaller production run meaning larger costs. Could even be due to exchange rates.
