Still whatever they used its been a beast of a car. Thanks for the vid it makes me want one more and more. Excellent video btw
I don't see why you couldn't drive one there. Unlike Australia, there's no law against driving left hand-drive cars in the UK. There's no legal impediment to importing one. I used to live in Ireland, and I once saw a 1965 Buick Riviera there someone had imported (it's a full-size, 1960s turnpike cruiser, like the Impala is). The only issues I think you would have would be the poor gas mileage, which would make driving the car very expensive, given the much higher price of gas in the UK, and the car's huge size, which would make it difficult to maneuver and to park in some areas. In the 1960s, American automakers were building giant, V8-powered cars for families to take long trips in on the then-new Eisenhower Interstate Highway System and to suit America's vast landcape and cheap petrol. Cars like this could hold a family of four or five, put all their luggage in the cavernous trunk (you'd say boot), and make hours or even days-long trips in relative comfort.
Hello! I'm currently restoring a '67 Sport Sedan like these, with a 283. Out of curiosity, what cam did you use in the 327. I suppose a similar grind would work to create the show car sound, very much like these. Thanks.
Hey, how did your 67 turn out? I have a 4 door 67 with 283 engine, I'm in the process of getting it restored. How did you go about getting the air conditioning back running? Did you use any flex lines for your gas line or transmission cooler lines?
The actual car had a much slower lope, I know they edited the sounds, turned it down, and all for talking during scenes. But yeah I always thought it was a 383 stroker with a very high lift. I know one thing, a 502 build/ or crate buy, do not come cheap.

Are these blueprint engines or another builder? Also, do you always get engines from the same manufacturer for the supernatural cars or are they a custom built motor?
