Really liking the more affordable car reviews on the channel. Not that there is anything wrong with the super cars and sports cars. But sometimes they become abit exhausting and unrelatable. Its refreshing and really cool to see some more affordable and relatable cars once in a while. Because even though these cars sell more and are more common, you'll have a much harder time finding videos like these showing their performance, tuning capabilities, top speed etc. As an owner of a soon to be modified "Normal" car, these videos catch my attention much quicker than those high prices super cars that I'll probably never own.

I am 20 and use a E91 330d with a Stage 1 with 300hp. I put a 316i badge on my rear and all the other drivers are looking lost when I accelerate after some angry flashing behind. It's so much fun with good fuel consumption. It's driving pleasure to drive a modern car with 300hp at the age of 20. :)
@@turkmen8558 Nah in my experience they are actually pretty reliable. And if you would have sat in a newer BMW you wouldn't say that they have a shitty interior. My Dad has the new 5 series and that interior is stunning and extremely high quality.

For example the BMW i8 was the first car to have Laserlight or BMW's are the only cars with reversing assistant (which is a great feature). I absolutely love Audis and Mercedes as well because they also built fantastic cars but personally I prefer BMWs. However it always comes down to personal preference because all 3 built awesome cars :)

However It doesn't cost no where as near as that much. It's around 12k to 25k (Including 330d, 330i, etc.) Interesting, really. 38k to 68k (350K-600K Turkish Liras) would be the Porsche Macan / Cayenne / Panamera range here.
Fast, safe, comfortable and sporty at the same, economical and as a used car not expensive. For a family the 320d touring (F31) is the best car in the world.
This car looks like shit anyway, even with LED headlights. New cars are very very bland and boring these days. Also, when the LED headlamp fails (which it WILL) you will have to you pay $500-$1000 for a new headlamp. If a halogen bulb fails, you buy another for $10 from the store.

I own f31 325d stage 2 (bigger intercooler, downpipe, intake and exhaust) with xhp slash tune, +290 hp and over 580nm. Of course straight six is the way to go, but here where i live everything bigger then a 2.0 liter is just mad on taxes, that's why 325d, 2.0 b47 with two turbo's.
The 320d is the "big cars" (mind that in italy anything over 50k€ is "big cars") entry point. You know you have some performance, just you won't take on any big thing on the autobahn but it's really fun to drive and it's just super competent. Very happy with my f31 lci msport! The digital cluster and the big screen with the msport trim makes it age better than the lower trims. I personally hate the trim of the one in the video.
7.3 0-100 with 215hp and ZF gearbox...something not right. Mine with stock B47 engine 190hp and ZF gearbox did exactly that. After i tuned it to 225hp it does 6.4s 0-100. Gonna flash the ZF with xhp stage3 next.
Same here my F30 320d with 225hp does 6.3 0-100 and 100-200 in 19 sec...maybe the f31 is heavier in combination with 10hp less? Wouldnt expect such a difference though....
Exactly! Let's enjoy our L6 while they still exist (thanks EURO norms) , never want to go back to a 4 cylinder. Only thing I regret is not taking a 335d instead of the 330d
@@s-b6218 yeah true, risks are higher when you run multiple turbos (like 4 now on a 50d!). At the end of the day, that makes the 330d a great middle ground solution... But as always, with torque and HP, you always want more :=)
I wonder if it would have been faster if you upshifted to 8th Gear instead of 7th. The power is probably decreasing @ over 4500 rpm. My stock 184hp 320d Xdrive Touring 6-speed does around 235 km/h (speedometer) in a straight line, just like this one. So little disappointing there ;)
I´ve never liked Diesel-Engines, because the Sound is just awful, but I have to admitt, they´re so economical. I remember my stepfathers F30 320d. It had planty of power, very good handling and a very good fuel consumption. About 6,0 litres per 100 km, even when driving about 180 km/h on the german autobahn, that´s just awesome!
Every single time, snow falls down, the bmw's came out of nowhere, sliding every turns (in Poland), and maybe its stereotype but i dont see any other cars doing it
The last pretty BMW chassis (the F), IMO; the G chassis has a "chinese flavor" that doesn't convince me totally. I guess the major market pushes the design tendences... sadly.

M sports steering wheels like that came on all m sport f30’s from 2012. Although that particular car didn’t come with that steering wheel. It’s been added. But nothing to do with facelift or not. You getting mixed up with the 1 series 😉
I'm not convinced with chiptuning. I like my car to be as reliable as possible and those engines are already maxed out. If I want more power and reliability I spare a few more for a better motor, instead of risking really expensive repairs operations mid or long term. (just saying... and I already had professionally tuned cars, before changing my mind recently about this)
These engines are not maxed out, 325d which is same engine just 2 turbos goes to 260bhp with stage 1. I wouldn’t push anymore then 260bhp from the N47 tho. You will have 3ltr performance at that power level.

Stock it comes with 184 or 190hp depending on the year. There also exists an '320d EfficientDynamics Edition' with 163hp, so I assume that this is what we have here.

I really disagree with you and as a person that owns a similar car longer than you and drives this often this is why: I drive a 2019 320i advantage petrol and found that these cars are really not so nice to drive. Sure, it stays flat in the corners and has some good feel during driving, but the suspension really is awful at longer distances and is not good in absorbing harsh unevenness. Whether driving slow, highway or autobahn: it just makes me tired of the bumping all the time. The springs are really short and the standard shocks are not absorbing but passing on shocks for ‘the feeling’. Believe me, after half an hour, you are gonna hate this! Also, the seats are the normal seats and these are not very comfortable. They are short, and not cushioned. These cars tend to be better when you buy the luxury line, because of adjustable suspension and comfortable seating, but not the base models, then you are better of with other brands and more normal cars. To be short: good platform for people that want some drivers feeling or change standard components and tweak the platform, but terrible for people that need to drive often and want to have a comfortable ride. So a little bit of misinformation for your viewers telling that these cars are really nice. This is just not true, and I have driven, taken care of and wrenched on a lot of cars!
215hp for a 320d with modified downpipe is not very much.... my mate had a 163hp 320d with only chiptuning..it had 230+hp without modified downpipe. 0-100km/h in 6.4sec. 320d/420d is a very nice engine!
