Wild Roses [Song Cover + Animatic]

First animatic baby!
A live-recorded segment/adaptation of the Nick Cave song, sung by me and featuring the lovely Lucy Oliver on violin. Thanks for playing with me, ya legend!
This animatic was made as a quickie and to get a grasp on the processes involved as preparation for a bigger project. My intention was to condense the song’s love/murder story into about 20 seconds.
A little bit about me:
My name is Alice Milne. I’m an 18-year-old developing singer, artist and musician from Australia.
I’ve had several past UA-cam channels diving into the world of DIY animation and illustration. Recently, I’ve wanted to combine this interest with my music, singing and recording song covers and using them as accompaniment to my videos.
I’m honestly not sure how long this project will last; I have a bit of a track record of disappearing from social media, but I’m hoping to stick with this for a while! Art, music and storytelling brings me so much joy and I hope to share that with you.
