Udyr’s rework was long overdue.
If you didn’t know, I’m actually a 500k points Udyr one-trick and I’ve been wanting to make an Udyr video for a very, very, long time.
And I actually want to show you and discuss why Udyr is actually Riot Games’ best-ever rework, from an Udyr player’s standpoint. And I also want to show you guys different builds like tank udyr, movement speed udyr, AP udyr and my favourite LETHALITY/ ASSASSIN UDYR. And also thank you Kesha, Ikeepittaco and Bausffs for the features.

I still say that the Aatrox rework wasn't Riot deleting a champion. It was merely Aatrox gaining a new host. Thing is, Darkin blades seem to adapt the wielder's fighting styles to themselves, whenever they take over a new host. This can be seen most prominently with Kayn, whenever Rhaast takes over. Rhaast doesn't gain a completely different fighting style from Kayn. Instead, he adapts Kayn's style of fighting to himself, albeit with a few more personal twists. Something similar could have happened with Aatrox, where the old host was slain by someone who became Aatrox's _new_ host.
Note to self: Next time I slay a powerful demon wielding a magic sword... _don't_ attempt to loot the corpse for a knock-off Soul Edge...

There is a secret group of people whose Udyr journey started with the real OG, Guardsman Bob. From him, the true spirit of Udyr is derived. If Trick2G is your Udyr Jesus, then Guardsman Bob is Udyr Moses.
Udyr also is finally a strong human guy that visibly isn't built like a model or superhero. He's not an instagram bodybuilder, he's stocky with a bit of a belly. Strong-fat. The only other champion I can think of that also falls into that category is Sion.
I like the part when Dumbs said it's Udyring time and then proceded to Udyr all over the enemy team.
Truly a League of Legends moment of all time.
I can't wait for this to be the last Dumbs main channel video for another like 2 years

I mean Aurelion Sol was not really a re-work persay, since all of his abilities were made anew with the exception of his flight. It's more along the lines of complete champion overhaul, akin to Aatrox and Sion.

Just started maining Udyr about a month ago, and League is actually fun again. Oneshotting tanks AND squishies has never been more enjoyable, and I actually feel so useful on him

4:07 My counter to that is Riot removed the uniqueness of udyr in his Stances, that are now just ability Buffs than actual stances as there's no eccentive to stay on them.
after you use it you go back to being normal Udyr again unlike the original that you could stay in one stance and still be useful, I'd say Deisgn wise he's amazing, gameplay is just good thats it, since they did not need to remove the original point of udyr which was switching between buffs, its switching between Stances.
So when I play him I feel like I'm playing more of an assianing Brusier than an actual stance switcher.
The abilities are missing passives for when you stay on them.
