I get that I already commented, but I do see a lot of people saying that they don't think this remix is good. I disagree. I have always thought Showdown was a more melancholy theme. Starlo doesn't really want to take out Clover and he's feeling a lot of pressure to do so. This remix gives me the feeling that Starlo has a lump in his throat, imagining how he might be hailed as a hero... by everyone but himself. He's going with the crowd, throwing in his hat with the human haters, but he feels... wrong. He'd enter the Saloon and everyone would say, "There goes North Star, the hero who took down the evil human!" While he's just there to drink the pain away.
Finally someone who thinks like me! Starlo has big admiration for Clover, but also has the pressure that his friends may leave him because of the human. So he thinks as North Star, he must take actions agaisnt Clover because "that's what heroes do". That's what Showdown represents to me... and probably another big reason of why this is one of my favorite Reasan's remixes
the distortion on this is so fuckin SIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCK man, keep playing with that shit, its working out for you HEAVILY style-wise, yet another banger
i personally feel like there's a bit too much tremolo on everything. it gives it a sort of... stanky feeling??? if that makes sense??? but this is still really good, i like the instrumentation! 3:33 is stand out to me just because of the chords and progression being captured so well with the instruments. cool stuff!
I am going to be honest, not my favorite. It sounds too distorted compared to the original. Your other Undertale Yellow songs were and are wonderful! Guns Blazing, End of the Line, and BEST FRIENDS FOREVER work very well with this style! But this one just doesn't work and the electric guitar doesn't help. P.S. Please do not hate me, I know that other people's music tastes are different and I'm just giving constructive criticism on what you could do better.

The detuning of the instruments makes it sound like it's crying even more than the original
The first few seconds are just discordiant pain, and then the main melody clears all and fix it, such a unique remix, I LOVE IT
