Meh. As a former C5 owner, I have to regretfully admit that its bulbous shape is not one of its best features.

That Max-Din infotainment system you guys are installing in the C6 is really cool. They’re making one for the C5 as well.

@@cscorvetteify Nice! You should do an install video for that. I’d rather do the Max-Din because it’s reversible. You don’t have to cut out the shelves like you would with a double-din setup. The Max-Din slides into the stock shelves.

Pretty cool Lyle. I feel your excitement. I have A Z06 (love it) but was intranet googling one day and came across a 13 Boss 302, in 2017, that looked like a typo. Wife said "calling is free", so I did. It had 1800 km (1100 miles) on it, was mint, and sits beside "Rusty" ( Atomic Orange Z06). Once in a while, a too good to be true story comes along. Truly awesome. I understand your excitement Lyle! Cheers from Canada, Southern friend :-)

I love looking at all of the Corvettes. Nice Z06. Wow, I have 10x that many miles on my 2 1/2 year old Stingray.
Frankly, I like the 2012 Grand Sport best of all.

Wow!! Very cool. I have the exact same all around lighting setup on my 2009 C6 Z51. The OEM lighting on the C6 sucks.
I’d like to offer on that gorgeous C7 Z06 but I know someone else with more money will buy it.
There were only 496 Z07 coupes built in 2018. Lowest production year of the C7 due to a short build time for the model year. This car is still brand new.

That low mileage 2018 Z06 has New York Inspection and Registration stickers on the windshield.
Correct! It was purchased in New York brand new in 2018 (I think I said New Jersey in the video), driven down here to Sarasota, and parked in a collection. Lyle

Can you do a video on whats the best head unit to replace the stock one in a C6 corvette?
I want to change mines out to have usb and bluetooth and a back up camera
Lyle can you give me a bit more detail on the GT3 headlights and marker lights on the C6 . Where could I get them from ? I need to either rework my 07 Z06 headlights , upgrade or replace . Not sure which way I'm going .. Thanks ... Great walk around

What a cool shop, soo many cool "vettes".. I was wondering if you could help me with one question tho.. I'm buying 77 L82 corvette and I was interested what's an average gas mileage on those cars, and if aftermarket 5 speed manual would help reduce it/ and if so by how much, thank you.
Don’t worry about gas mileage. Just buy and enjoy the car. Corvettes are a lot of fun

The '58 over spray underneath is that factory?
On 65 and 66 Corvette does these cars need to have leaded gasoline or can they run on today’s fuel or do we have to add lead substitute every time you fill up? Thank you.

Lyle, have you ever installed a front camera to work with the infotainment center for a vette that doesn’t have the front camera? If so what do you recommend. TY
I have not. We really try to stay away from stereo work, in general, as it is not our strong suit. The reason we are interested in this new system is that it supposed to be basically plug-n-play. It has front and rear cameras, so we will do a video about our thoughts on the system AND the installation process here in the next month or so. Lyle

Did Lyle imply that C6 ‘verts are problematic? In the market for one now….am curious about potential issues with the top.
We are seeing more and more of them with various issues. Age takes its toll on everything, and these systems are no exception. Some of the fixes are pretty straightforward, but others require a great deal of diagnosis and parts-searching to resolve. Lyle

How much do yall charge to rebuilt a torque tube on a 06 Vette ?
That depends...are you bringing the tube to me out of the car? $575 parts/labor. If we are doing the whole job here (car and all) you can figure $2900 for an automatic and $3600 for a manual (with new clutch). Lyle
A saw a C4 for a split second why didn't you show it? I hope you're not dissing it because it's a C4.
Oh, no way! That is the '95 from the Horror story, still here going through some additional diagnosis...I was focused on the '58 and didn't even think about the '95 as it was covered up under the '58. Lyle
